Would love to see you do a week in your natural hair. Just so we can get a look at how often you moisturize and manipulate your hair. That way we can kind of see where we may be going wrong in our own routine. Your hair is thriving and I'm trying to get my hair to this level.
...after discovering so many people like her bottle...Whit decides to buy a bulk order of plastic spray bottles online and pour boiling water in them all...then sells them for profit😂😂😂😂#Ill take 4
Ah Whitney this is amazing. I'm learning how to handle my daughter's hair and I'm going to try this method today with her. She's become eager to do her hair now. She calls it Self-care Sunday. You are a great help to parents like me whose hair is ethnically different to our daughters' hair. Her dry scalp has no flakes this week and her hair is becoming softer and easier to handle. She's loving the routine which helps with the tangles and I finally feel that she can grow her hair without me going through anxiety. Thanks a million.
I remember in an old video she said that sometimes when you’ve gone through a dry spell, you need to keep reapplying moisture everyday so that your hair can get used to being moisturized. Just thought I’d merino that because my hair always felt dry and crispy until I implemented that.
Definitely was in need of this type of advice, because I tend to let my hair dry out way to often. And your routine is super easy for me to follow without a problem. Thanks girl 💁🏾♀️.
I have 3a hair (Latina woman here) but still watch all of your videos. Although most of these the products you use are too heavy for my hair, I really enjoy your videos! I’ve learned how to take care of my hair because of you. Much love! 💜
Everything tutorial you do, agrees with my hair. I started doing your pre poo and diy fengreek deep conditioner, about 4 months ago and hair has grown and my ends have gotten stronger. I suffered a bald spot in the back of head, and using the aloe vera has strengthen the hair. It's currently my longest section of my hair. Thanks so much for your knowledge Ms. Whitney.
I finally tried aloe juice on my hair and OMD 😍😍. My hair has been soooo soft and I got very good definition on my braidout for the first time ever! Thank you for the plug
I remember on your older videos you showed yourself detangling in the shower then twisting back up and that has made detangling so easy for me, even when I get out of the shower my hair doesn't dry too quickly and it's easier to work with. ❤️
Omg been suffering from itchy, dry scalp for a couple years now! Thanks for reminding me about aloe vera. Years later and I'm still fantasizing about you selling your DYI butters lol. I know you're already super busy but a sis can dream!
EH CBunny Washing as in shampoo + conditioner? I don't put the styling products on my scalp, got that advice a few years ago. Thanks for the suggestion!
asukachan07 what has helped me is washing my scalp with diluted vinegar then after washing spray pure aloe juice, oil of choice i use grapeseed or coconut then a leave in and loc with sheabutter with essential oils i made. Moisture for days!!
I did this routine last night then took it down in the morning and my hair felt so soft and amazing! It works like a dream. I wanted more curls though so I added more oil, then a curling cream and a little gel on the parts that I wanted super defined and I think this routine might have saved my hair life. New hair journey here I come.
K5 Camille Hi, I know your question wasn't directed to me, but the answer to your question is No. Water is the only true moisturizer for hair. What you list there are sealants. You must first apply or spray your hair with water or a water based product. Then you would seal and lock in all that moisture with the jojoba oil, castor oil or sulfur 8. You can mix all 3 items or use each one separately. Hth and that I’ve answered your question.
pixshamerollin I like the LCO method, Water or Aloe Vera Juice only or a mixture of both, Cream & Oil. For creams I like creamy consistency like KCKT, As I Am Moisture Milk, Neutrogena Triple Moisture Leave-In Cream, Oyin hair dew, SheaMoisture Curl & Style Milk, etc. (Depending on the season). As for oils I like penetrating oils (Liquid Coconut Oil (Fractionated), Extra Virgin Olive Oil or Avocado Oil) for winter months because these oils go inside the hair strands and moisturize, repairs and prevent damage or light oils like Grapeseed Oil for the summer months. You can then mix in a little regular castor oil (Don’t use Jamaican Black Castor Oil (JBCO) despite what others say, I like Home Health Castor Oil brand because it doesn’t itch and 100% Vegan, Non-GMO). Do all these steps on soaking wet wash day hair or damp hair. Sorry, about the long reply.
I tried aloe vera juice on my scalp and it caused me to have a lot of snow days/dandruff lol, but rosewater works amazing for my hair and scalp. Thank you for your content. I am relaxed and your tips and tricks helps even me! Plus my 8 month old daughter is definitely going to be natural, so I am also learning how to take care of her hair now and in the future. Keep being you! You are definitely a blessing to us all!!!!!
Thank you so much for sharing. You have given me hope, I feel like my hair was growing and healthy when I use to do all of your DIY hair products. But I got bored and busy and I stopped with the DIYs and now starting over with hair regimen. Im back girlie, you go help me grow healthy hair again and Im sticking around this time.
I was just watching in awe of your hair's growth until you said when you take the twists down the moisture disappears..Instantly! I clicked because that is exactly how my hair behaves it has ZERO CHILL Ugh! Thank you for being so relatable Whits!
Have u tried the almond jai twisting butter from camille rose? its very moisturizing. My hair stay soft and moisturized for days. I have high porosity hair.
Vanessa Williams I planned on buying that! My hair is high porosity too and I heard it’s great for high porosity hair since it doesn’t have glycerin and because it’s kind of a heavy product, so I planned on getting my hands on it soon :) hopefully it works for me!
I just saw your earlier videos when your hair was super short and I was in disbelief that your hair was ever that short!! You hair is AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL!!!! seriously!!!! ♥
OG Whit-Whit always coming through in the clutch. I've been saying that I was going to start wearing my hair in twists to maintain moisture and now I'm really going to in the next few days. Thanks, girl!
Perfect timing Whitney! I was just about to do some Senegalese twist on my hair. These tips were so helpful 👐

I loveeee this routine! I’ve noticed that my twist outs loook like wash n gos too! It mimics my natural texture & i love it! Twists just takes too long to dry 😂
Ok girl, so I watch all your videos, but really only to admire your hair. But this video has changed the game. It actually worked beautifully. It was fast, I used less products & my hair is legit curly and moisturized! Thank you Whitney! 💕
mzlareine1105 EXACTLY! I’m watching this a year or more later and I’m like: DID we get a preview of Melanin Haircare and not even know it!! Chaleeee!! 🙈🙈🙈
Thanks so much Whitney! I thought you were wearing your hair loose all the time and wondered how it always looks so moistuzed. Thanks for sharing how you wear your hair on a daily basis. Great video!!!! Thanks!!
Always watching, never commented. Thanks alot for this Whitney. I'm from Jamaica and the heat is turnt here so I've been really trying to find ways to keep my hair moisturized. Right now it's in bantu knots, we call them chiney bumps😁 out here. Just giving my hair a break and trying to keep it healthy and moisturized before school. Just wanted to say thank you for the good that you do for our natural community and especially for type 4 hair girls .❤
Dude her hair is so beautiful 😍 If this Low porosity crap of mine would retain moisture to keep length i'd actually look forward to these type of methods😭😭😭
Whit!!!! You're hair is bomb!😍 #goals what naturalistas don't understand when swiping through your SC or Gram is that you have been consistently training your hair to retain moisture. Hence the juicy twists and strands even before you put product on it. PSA: BE CONSISTANT WITH YOUR REGIME!!! That is all.
Your hair is so beautiful!!❤I should really thank you girl.i have been doing the alone vera pre poo for a couple of weeks now and my hair loves it!!before that my hair was always dry and brittle no matter what moisturizer I used.i was so frustrated, but now I see a difference in my hair and also scalp.my hair remains soft and hydrated till the next wash day.thank you!! That spray bottle tho🤣🤣
I think it's great that you mentioned how long moisture stays in the hair out vs twisted. I was always frustrated about my hair drying out after 3 days when wearing my hair out.
I love rocking juicy twists. They are a good way for me to refrain from constant manipulation. People always ask me who did my hair. Me I gladly report. I especially love the bomb twist out after a day of two of "rested hair". Also Vera juice is my go to. I use one of those misters and make sure to section my hair to get my scalp and roots. I have been watching your channel for awhile. Keep the great content coming.
I use kinky curly knot today leave in, the mane choice daily moisturizer and then seal it with the Camille rose honey leave in. Braid it up hair stays moisturized for 7 to 8 days.
Wow! You use 2 leave-ins? The more water I use on my hair, the frizzier it gets...I forgot that I can use my water-based leave-in from Giovanni then follow it up with my moisturizer from TM Hair Products.
marian B yes but the Camille rose honey leave in has mostly oil and honey. So I use it as a sealant rather than a leave in. The honey keeps my hair really moisturized for days.
Fatumata Gumaneh: I've been dying to try the CRN honey leave-in. 😭 I feel like honey in my hair care would be a game changer for me after using the Alikay Naturals Honey and Sage deep conditioner. After rinsing, there was a noticeable difference in the way my hair felt, looked, and how easy it was to part. 👌
Shaun Soule absolute game changer, after I used the TGIN honey miracle deep conditioner my hair was so soft and plush. all this time all these deep conditioners weren’t really moisturizing my hair but that deep conditioner made me try the CRN honey leave in and I’m glad I did. Many naturals hate it cuz if they do a twist out or braid out the hair will be weighed down from the honey.
Fatumata Gumaneh I tried tgin honey miracle hair mask for the first time today & my hair was softer, but I've been using Mane 3-in-1 revitalize & refresh conditioner as a leave in & it isn't moisturizing my hair like I would like. I think it's too watery. I'm between 4a-4c. Kinda got 3 different textures poppin in this crown. I may try Camille Rose next.
This is a nice and easy moisturising routine! I'll definitely be adding aloe vera to my hair regimen again as it did really help with moisture and definition when I used it as a prepoo. ✨✨
Your hair is off the charts. I'm almost 60, and a guy and always freaking out about losing my hair. I have a feeling that if I did some of your treatments, I'd be able to keep more of it.
Thank you dropping another 💣💣 video! Your hair is thriving so well. Love that you place health over all other desires. Health first, HUGE results later. Yassss huntee! We love you sisssssss and appreciate the moisturizing tutorial. Stay blessed ❤
I love your hair. I love most of your suggestions, but my super 4C hair does not like aloe vera juice. I dilute it quite a bit with water, and my hair still feels like a crunchy taco shell. I just wet it with warm water and seal it with a mixture of both penetrating and sealing oils.
yarnsrj same experience! You should try fenugreek spray...2tbsp fenugreek 500ml water. Total game changer! I never use plain water since making this. My hair feels like silk after I use it all by itself.
You are so right about aloe Vera. I put it in just about everything I use! It’s literally a miracle liquid for skin and hair. Always love your videos. So informative ❤️❤️❤️
I just subscribed because you're the only person I've seen so far that has the EXACT same hair texture as mine. I hope I can get my hair to look as full ass yours in the future!
It's funny that you've been making videos about your "winter wash n go" looks as of late, because that's what I've been doing too! I'm from the North, but moved in April and now live in a warm, super humid climate. I've been doing basically the same thing you do since April! Plus the high humidity (80-95% is normal in the summer) reverts the ends of my curls just enough to really look like my wash n go, but fluffier and without hard gels. Plus the roots stay stretched from twisting and I have fewer tangles and single strand knots. It's a win all around!
So I spent all day today doing my hair. For the first time I did 1. Prepoo with fresh aloe vera and oils. 2. Clarified/Detoxed using bentonite clay 3. cherry Lola treatment 4. Deep condition After rinsing out the DC sprayed aloe vera juice, added leave in conditioner, cream and a oil then twisted each section up. Phew!! glad that's over. We shall see how it comes out. I thank you Naptural85 as you give such good hair advice.. :-)
I’m curious how you style it with your 6 big twists? I love this method of maintaining moisture but clueless about rocking twists that size outside of a head wrap or something.
1. Aloe Vera juice.
2. Leave in conditioner.
3. Oil to lock in all that moisture.
4. Butter/ Cream to seal that moisture in.
Patricia Strothers not all heroes wear capes ❤️🔥
THHANK YOUUUU!! UGH!!
Ur the best🥰
Thankkkk youuuuu😅
But be careful because her hair is still different though it’s type 4

Would love to see you do a week in your natural hair. Just so we can get a look at how often you moisturize and manipulate your hair. That way we can kind of see where we may be going wrong in our own routine. Your hair is thriving and I'm trying to get my hair to this level.

I agree with you! Straight to the point and not all the hoopla, lol!
🙌🏼

Whitney! Do my hair! I'll make you cake. 😥
Indiegirl007 I asked her too! Whitney just won't respond to that lol. I won't make cake. What about cookies?
How about a 4 course meeeal?? 😁
I'll fix her a whole Christmas dinner if she can whip my curls the way she does hers. I just don't have it. My twist outs be coming out so raggedy.
Forget cookies, I’ll babysit her kiddos for a whole week 👀. You Philippe can get some date nights in
Indiegirl007 ... me too 😂
Getting ready to take my protective style out. You make me miss my hair
Shantale Lee - Me too! I only had my box braids for a week and I miss my hair and want to touch it.
Omg been suffering from itchy, dry scalp for a couple years now! Thanks for reminding me about aloe vera.
Years later and I'm still fantasizing about you selling your DYI butters lol. I know you're already super busy but a sis can dream!
Don't put styling product on your scalp and wash your scalp at least twice per week.
Misha Mccrea I don't have aloe vera juice but I have a whole leaf, I hope that the diluted gel from that will do. Thank you for the suggestion!
Misha Mccrea how do you wash your scalp with the diluted vinegar? You only wash your scalp not all of your hair?
I did this routine last night then took it down in the morning and my hair felt so soft and amazing! It works like a dream. I wanted more curls though so I added more oil, then a curling cream and a little gel on the parts that I wanted super defined and I think this routine might have saved my hair life. New hair journey here I come.
You can never go wrong with the LCO/LOC method(s)!
Ange N.O. Hey I have no idea what I’m doing. Is it safe for me to use jojoba oil, castor oil and sulfur8 all at the same time to moisturize my hair?
K5 Camille Hi, I know your question wasn't directed to me, but the answer to your question is No. Water is the only true moisturizer for hair. What you list there are sealants. You must first apply or spray your hair with water or a water based product. Then you would seal and lock in all that moisture with the jojoba oil, castor oil or sulfur 8. You can mix all 3 items or use each one separately. Hth and that I’ve answered your question.
How do u know which one to use though? I feel like switching up the order of the oil & conditioner makes a big difference
pixshamerollin I like the LCO method, Water or Aloe Vera Juice only or a mixture of both, Cream & Oil.
@@pixshamerollin Which ever order works better on your hair. I use the loc because my hair stays moisturized longer that way.

It’s easy to moisturize my hair but it never stays moisturized longer than a freakin day. It’s so annoying 🤦🏽♀️

you are the reason I went natural. I thank you for taking time to make these amazing videos. You are amazing thank you WHIT!!!!!
This vid came right on time. I’ve literally had dry scalp for a few weeks now 😩
Your hair is off the charts. I'm almost 60, and a guy and always freaking out about losing my hair. I have a feeling that if I did some of your treatments, I'd be able to keep more of it.
Heyyyy haven’t watched yet but i know I’m gonna love it!!🤗🤗🤗
Xo!! Aw thanks Serita Veras !! I hope you enjoy! 😘😘❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you dropping another 💣💣 video! Your hair is thriving so well. Love that you place health over all other desires. Health first, HUGE results later. Yassss huntee!
We love you sisssssss and appreciate the moisturizing tutorial.
Stay blessed ❤
Notifications Squad President here. Hey Whitney
Ayyye!! ✊🏾 4A Biker Chic !! Happy to see you girl! 😘❤️❤️❤️👑👑
This is my go to style every wash day now, I love what it does to my hair😍💜
I love your hair. I love most of your suggestions, but my super 4C hair does not like aloe vera juice. I dilute it quite a bit with water, and my hair still feels like a crunchy taco shell. I just wet it with warm water and seal it with a mixture of both penetrating and sealing oils.
yarnsrj same experience! You should try fenugreek spray...2tbsp fenugreek 500ml water. Total game changer! I never use plain water since making this. My hair feels like silk after I use it all by itself.
LOL, I used to take it as a supplement years ago. Hated the residual smell, but I may try your suggestion for this hair. Thanks for replying.
You are so right about aloe Vera. I put it in just about everything I use! It’s literally a miracle liquid for skin and hair. Always love your videos. So informative ❤️❤️❤️
That is the truth about the moisture leaving so quickly!! I'll just leave my twist in for the rest of the summer....lol...heyyyyy Whitney!!!!!
Her hair is so beautiful!
Just wanted to tell you that Jesus Christ loves you so very very much even if you don’t believe it and have a good day. Spread the word
your hair is gorgeous 💆🏾♀️
Yesss twists keep my hair moisturize too.
I just subscribed because you're the only person I've seen so far that has the EXACT same hair texture as mine.
I hope I can get my hair to look as full ass yours in the future!
I thought that was just a uniquely shaped pray bottle. xD

Whitneeeyyyyy 😭😭😭💕
Hi Keiala Hampton !!!!! 👋🏾👋🏾👋🏾❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Waow! Your hair is so beautiful and your routine so simple, you made me want to have long hair again...but then I remembered I'm too lazy anyway lol 🤣
alison hilaire 🤣🤣💀 Thanks Alison!! I'm happy you liked the routine ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Kat Joiner !! I'll wear a headband or headwrap, and put my twists into a gentle low or high bun! ❤️❤️
I use aloe vera juice too! Love it wal mart has it by the gallon 99.8 percent for like 5 bucks so it lasts a couple months
So like at 4:14 , I was like "the LCO method!" Yeah I was slow😞😁
Your makeup looks so good!
NOTIFICATION GANGGGGG
LaLa XO!! Hey LaLa!! 😘❤️❤️
Heyyy Mrs. Whitney ☺️☺️, I was just thinking about this “like man I wish Naps would do a moisturizing video on how she does her’s”. Here it is 😊😊
Could you use the aloe Vera gel instead of aloe Vera juice
Victoria Mensah yes, I add the gel to my water bottle
Yes. I add aloe gel to my wet hair, then olive oil and cantu leave-in.
