NEW Video is Up!! "My Simple Wash Day Routine 2017 | Moisturized Natural Hair" I hope you enjoy!! Oh, and I placed all the links needed for recipes, etc... as well as some ADDITIONAL info you may be wondering, in the description box! Hope it helps! XO!! ❤️
Best part of my weekend so far: Naptural85's wash day routine or as I like to call it, BEST NATURAL HAIR PORN EVER! Your hair looks AMAZING, love it lol! I also hate going back to the shower after deep conditioning so now I wash my hair over the sink. I'll have to figure out a way to keep doing that with longer hair because it won't be as easy as it is now with my TWA :-|.
Thank you for all your videos :-)Where did you find a big pump bottle of the Giovanni conditioner???!!!! I love the Giovanni conditioners and shampoos. The 50/50 is my favorite, but I use the Tea Tree one sometimes also. The Direct Leave-In is one of my summer staples.
Quick tip: Instead of getting back into the shower to rinse the deep conditioner off, just get a bucket fill with water and rinse, or you can use your sink. My daughter shows how to do this in a video she did called "9 year old WASHES and STYLES" her hair. This also saves A LOT OF WATER.. LOL! Much love!
Hi DN, do you know if using the aloe to close the cuticle of the hair, is good for low porosity hair? I should research this...but if you know the answer, that would be great!
You have just ended my search for products that ACTUALLY HELP MY HAIR!!! And this is a damn near 20 year search. These products and your routine are clutch. I did EVERYTHING. Aloe/water juice, Giovanni conditioner, Shea High Porosity, and oil. My hair has NEVER felt better. I used to rinse my hair EVERY SINGLE DAY to "hydrate" it. But it would be crunchy again by noon, and eventually breaking off (I live in Arizona - very dry climate). Your method has saved my life. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!!!
Also, it seems like you've really been embracing your shrinkage and it's really inspiring. It's something I've really been struggling with. Thank you for all you do, Whit! 💖💖💖
Chandra_Michelle Just remember shrinkage is a sign of healthy hair, and something to be proud of! My hair is an awkward length so my shrinkage annoys me because it makes it impossible to do quick styles, but I'm trying to embrace it too x
I recently wore my hair to school (college natural) in its shrunken state and it's honestly liberating. I've been natural for a year and that was my first time doing it. I think everyone should embrace the shrinkage!!
Chandra_Michelle have you tried banding? I finally found a banding method that I like and not only has it allowed me to enjoy my natural texture but girl my wash n go can last 7 days or more.
I've struggled with my natural hair for 7 years now but I never gave up. I finally decided to put my head down and start treating my hair right so naturally I turned to your videos because Ive been following you for some time now and within a month of following your tips and tricks I've seen such a difference in the health of my hair. Thanks for basically following your dreams and continuing your videos even when people tried to put you down or discourage you 😊
Just Me I use it on my hair and apply a good amount of jojoba oil on top to each section before my styling products and I never have an issue with flaking. I also use it to refresh my hair during the week.
emylishepherd84 I actually do the opposite. Wash and condition in the sink, apply deep conditioner, then rinse in the shower and allow hair to dry while I clean my body.
DSFAVORS stretch it i usually braid and twist or do a twist out i usually leave mine in for 3 weeks and wash my hair and water rince in between and moisturize my hair
Yes I missed this type of video! Also for anyone who doesn't have Aloe Vera, try Apple Cider Vinegar (1-2 drops in a spray bottle|) for ph balance/ hair and other benefits!
Honestly one of the only natural hair gurus I can trust with giving me quality info💓, I still go back to numerous older videos to learn/relearn different things and I truly appreciate your page for that!
So I’ve been following this process for a while now with one adjustment: all my life, I would lean over the bathtub and use the spigot to wash my hair. For the very first time, I washed my hair in the shower and it made ALL the difference: 1) my hair, which I thought could never be detangled can now be detangled with ease; 2) as a result I have much less breakage and 3) I can target the water to the section of hair that I’m working on. I’m so thrilled because detangling was always a major chore, which made this process much longer than it had to be. Now I’m in a good place and can’t wait to see the results!!! Thanks Naptural85!
Just came across this video. i wanted to go natural for a long time but thought this would be the time because I'm retiring and because I'm teleworking these days since March because of COVID. So, I have the time. Gray hair is little more course but I've never dyed it and don't plan to. I'm 63 and my hair is about 15" long. I do the pre poo first. Then the shampoo the next day. I followed the directions exactly how you do it. I have my iPad in the bathroom and I call my hubby in to pause the video before i go to the next step. He's great! Been doin this routine now for a month and my hair has never felt so healthy. I haven't had a relaxer since April so I'm clipping the ends just a little each time getting the last of the relaxer out. It's a long process, yes, but worth it. I think I'll trying going to every 2 weeks for the deep conditioner. I'll follow this routine for a while until I get more comfortable. Anyway, thanks for teachin an old dog some new tricks.
Whitney girl .... thank you. ... I have been washing my hair like this for 3 weeks now ... my scalp with the aloe is like 110% than it use to be ... my hair oh my hair so soft so shiny. .. thank you
I am still learning as we all are. Thank you so much for your diligence and perseverance and congrats on the New Edition( not R&B group). But I was wondering what you think about before adding the oil maybe adding the leave in after the aloe because leave ins are like (to me) the serum step that penetrates your moisturized hair. Then add the oil like moisturizer cream over serum to seal all that good moisture in. Maybe excess oil could be absorbed with t shirt. paper towel or good micro fiber. Just a thought.
I absolutely love this new routine! The concept of leaving the hair in twists while shampooing: stroke of pure genius! For us thick haired girls with hair that can easily tangle, that step is a must! Can't wait to employ that in wash day. Thanks for the tips! You're the best!
Thank you so much for this wash routine. I tried it out today and my hair feels amazing. I have 4c,4b hair and this is the first time I've ever seen my hair completely defined
Your methods have really been working for me. I never use oils and I decided to try to seal with oil (castor and avocado) and rinse a little out , add the leave in after and my hair is still moisturized and soft and shiny even after a week--which was impossible for me before. I love all of your videos! Thank you :)
I washed my hair today using the method and my hair came out bomb! 🙌🏾 I was already using the mane choice leave it but I added the aloe vera juice to my routine and pre poo and I love it! Thanks so much keep on being you! ❤️
nah, maybe 800,500 mainly coz of her consistency rate, managing multiple channels n struggles with multitasking. She will eventually get there but it will take her a lil bit longer.
I just followed this process as closely as I could and just finished twisting up my hair. I can’t...stop...touching...my...hair!!! Thank you for sharing your wisdom and learnings!
Question: If you used the oil to seal in your moisture and used the AVJ to close the cuticle, then wouldnt the leave-in be shut out from penetrating your hair? Shouldnt the leave-in go on before the oil anf AVJ??
This video along with the products, recipes, and instructions have really really help me get unstuck with my damaged dry natural hair. Before i saw this video i was ready to give up on natural hair. Thank you so much!! You are a gem 💎😊
Yall. YaaAaaAAaaaalll! I tried this with the pre-poo and my hair is the most moisturized it has ever been! I spent a little bit on oils, but it's definitely a sound investment since I will be doing this from now on. Since I have shorter hair now, I will get a good number of uses from my DIY shampoo. Thank you, Whitney!
The only vídeo I needed to see. Thank you! I've been watching your vids for ages now, since around 2010 when I started my hair journey, and though life got crazy with uni, and I stopped looking after my hair really well, you're that one RUclipsr I just keep coming back to because I know your videos are so helpful and clear, simple and uncomplicated to get me back in track to a healthy head of hair. You're like my family that I never met in person haha! Health is the most important thing & I will get there so I thank you Whitney! Lots of love from this British chick xx
I remember watching this video when your first posted it and I must say thank you for this. I was struggling with my wash days as a new natural but your wash day routine was one of the best ones I’ve followed and not to mention my hair strived in length and feels so much healthier. That aloe Vera and Giovanni conditioner were game changers. Thank you so much for sharing this with us❤
I do really Love your method! I am currently following each step (I'm at deep condition level- that's why I can give a comment). I adapted it to my porosity using my own products and yes!!!... My hair is really really soft and curly. Seems it is changing my texture!!!! So amazing! OK I have to remove the deep condition. Big kisses from Cameroon! 😘
I love you Naptural85! You inspire me to wear my hair natural, and teach me how to take care of my hair! Growing long hair is hard and takes a long time! But you make it easier and better! That's why I said without you, my hair journey would have been a lot harder and very frustrating! So I would like to say Thank You! (Can't wait to see more of your incredible videos!)
loved the aloe vera prepoo. its unbelievable how soft and almost restructured my hair felt. my issue was aloe chunks that cling to my strands. had to blend it next time and perfect.
You have beautiful hair. I am Caucasian, and don’t have as many curls as you do, but so much of what you show here gives me a lot of great ideas. I have been treating my curly hair like misbehaving straight hair ALL my life. I’ve finally sworn off blow drying, and I’m in the process of trying to go all natural. In the process, it’s looking very frizzy (and nice curls are underneath). I’m a newbie so really need someone with me on wash day to tell me what to do. This is the next best thing. Thank you!!
If you don't want to get back in the shower, there's always the bending over the sink option. I'm not sure that would be super comfortable with a pregnant belly, but there's always the option afterwards...
where was this yesterday when I was searching all over the place for a simple wash routine lol. What makes it so funny is your new routine is exactly what I ended up doing! The only difference is i made 24ish twists instead of 6 so I could get easier access to my scalp for the shampoo. I usually detangle my hair in the pre-poo stage, and with the twists, it helps you keep your hair detangled through the whole process (washing, conditioning, deep conditioning) ♥
Does anyone remember that episode of Spongebob where Squidward moved to a town full of Squidwards and was repeating the same routine? 7:18 suddenly reminded me of that and I bursted out laughing.
Hey Curly Rhoday! I rinse out the leave-in to get rid of the excess bc it's a heavy product. So if I use too much it could make my hair feel sticky. I'll leave the pre-poo in for days if I need to because sometimes I get busy and can't get to washing it out. But it doesn't affect my hair in any way, most of the aloe/oils are usually absorbed by the second day. But I'll usually just wear a head wrap while the twists are in anyway. ❤️❤️
Followed your exact routine & my hair was soooo soft & hydrated afterwards! I wish I would’ve done a before and after video 😭! I’m so In love with this routine! Thanks so much.
This is soooo awesome. Thanks you Whitney for sharing your technique. The part that I noticed that makes my hair super soft is your technique of spraying the aloe vera juice and adding the oil and then rinsing quickly (makes it so soft) then adding the leave-in and quickly rinse. It comes out so super soft.
I absolutely love you !!!! You helped me in my natural hair journey 7 years ago and I haven't looked back since!!! I have made every single product you showed us and I am currently rocking the protein sensitive deep conditioner as my pre poo because my hair is super dry and then on to my wash and go ... the African black shampoo, oils and conditioners having been amazing!!!!!!!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Your hair always looks so moisturized!!! darker hair always looks juicy. my brown hair color always makes it look like it's dry even when it's freshly moisturized
I have a 1 year old son (will be 2 in a few months) and I'm pregnant with another boy. the one thing I dread is wash day, but you make it seem so easy. Holding my arms up for so long and standing in the shower for an hour plus really depletes my energy
I just fell out & died twice at your comment! lmao lol It is so true! If you find someone as faithful as Nap is to that Tea Tree, baby... you set! But she lowkey dissed the hell outta that Tea Tree for that 50:50.
Yes girl, you got to! I went natural back in Dec 2016 (I did the big chop) & it didn't take me long at all to discover Naptural. I saw her old wash routine & I was "Bet! That's what I'm doing!" She raved about that Tea Tree in most of the videos I watched, I purchased it immediately & I haven't used any other conditioner as part of my routine. But since she posted the new wash routine & add that 50:50, that same day, I went to Whole Foods & got it. I was like if she gave up on that Tea Tree, that 50:50 must be 100 lmao! I used the other day as part of my cowash routine & girrrrrrrllllll.... AMAZING!!!!!
let me find out! I've been pretty loyal to Shea Moisture conditioner (everything else they have is garbage to me), and the Mane choice 3-in-1 just gave me my WHOLE LIFE. So idk, conditioner existential crisis lol
Yeah, I hear you. I mainly use Mizani True Texture products (I still go to my hairstylists every 2 weeks & he uses those products on me) & I love it. He warned me of consumer products, so I just use MIzani. The only thing I don't use of Mizani is the conditioner... like I mentioned, I'm on that 50:50 now. I've heard some great things about Mane Choice. Shea Moisture products overwhelm me because they have SO MANY product lines! I've been trying to use up the Manuka Honey shampoo & deep conditioner, so I can focus primarily on my Mizani. Which Shea Moisture line do you use? I tried that JBCO line & it tore my scalp to shreds!
Wow your curls are super pretty. Your wash day has so many steps lol. I thinks it's because my hair is relaxed so I only shampoo, deep condition, and dry, then apply moisturizer. Love wash day videos
oh God just looking at all this made me tired... I don't know if I can ever get my hair to look like that :( ... great results not so simple lol wonder how much all that cost???
I did this along with the pre-poo and omg this has been the easiest wash I have ever done! The pre-poo worked beautifully. And the wash was super easy even with all the steps because my hair was so moisturized after the pre-pp. Love you!
I'm always so encouraged when I watch your videos. I just wish I could retain moisture in my hair. Its so thick. I'm sure this would help in the growth.
LOVE LOVE LOVE your complete wash routine!!! My hair and scalp especially feels so much better than even when I get it washed at the salon. Instead of the DIY African black soap shampoo i used one from Shea moisture’s just cause I couldn’t buy all the products for the DIY one when i needed to wash my hair but it still worked great! I will definitely try the DIY one one day!
Wow, I totally believe that's the most moisturized your hair has ever been. Looks incredible! Can't wait to try this when I take out my braids this weekend
Yay it's up! I have been trying to wait patiently Whitney!!! I have been doing the aloe gel and oil pre- poo though....I need to take a before pictures and after as the RUclipsr you got this treatment from suggested so I can see the difference in my edges and possible hair growth. Thanks for your time and effort in helping us with our hair.😄
I tried this procedure last week and loved it. It worked so well, doing it again. Thanks Whit. 👍👍👍 p.s I happened to have rice water on hand and used it in place of the ACV. It worked well also
Yea team too much. I love her hair but it's gotta be a better way. I don't do all that. Wash and condition your hair & use the loc method and keep it moving.
XO! Thank you Elissa! That's what I did here, lol, I think it's just all the info I'm giving that may make it seem like it's more than it is. But I like giving details and why I do what I'm doing, to try and get ahead of any questions. But in a nutshell, I did just that! Washed (in twists), detangled/deep conditioned, and then loc'd: Liquid (aloe juice) Oil (hair oil) Cream (Leave-in) 😉❤️
Elissa Adesida i think it maybe all the twisting and untwisting. I personally can't do that/dont have the patience for it. And i think detangling with the aloe vera at the end before LOC is a little easier...it is for me and cuts down on breakage from of manipulating. My hair is finer than hers *jelli* lol
Wow!! Thank you for taking the time to do this video. It’s very detailed. I have been searing for a new wash/moisturizing routine and I am definitely trying this for me and my daughters. Thank you! 😘
Y’all ever drop a glob of conditioner on the shower floor and pick it right back up, cause I have. 🤣That’s $3.50 worth of conditioner right there can’t let it go to waste. Lol don’t come for me 😭😭
Your hair is thriving! So healthy looking and shiny and full of life *_* I've been transitioning for almost 19 months now, I'm trying to push for 2 years... but it's videos like this that give me the urge to big chop right now 😫 I can't wait to be fully natural
TheAhlivia You should already have shampoo and conditioner, I use conditioner and oils for a deep con. and add an egg for protein-based ones to strengthen my hair and it works fine. Maybe try that? Apple cider vinegar can balance PH as well; and leave in is optional obviously but anything you use for moisturizing will do. Well I use household ingredients apart from the shampoo/con/oils so maybe that'll help you too. :)
Thank u 4 the updated video! just started following in november...ur videos have been my hair bible! Been natural for 3 yrs but was heat straightening. I have lots of heat damage (especially in front) & now I'm trying 2 get my hair healthy & happy (& in wash-n-go condition)...moisture retention is my biggest challenge :l Thanks again, keep them coming! Courteney T
Whilst I enjoy your videos so much who has time for this 😂😂 I just shampoo, condition, leave in conditioner and go. Wish I had the discipline to actually look after my hair.
Karel Green all you need to do is slap oil on your hair before shampooing replace your conditioner with a deep conditioner and apply an oil or butter over your leave in and you'll be all set.
Thank you so much for the videos! I've been trying different methods with my daughters hair for years and your videos have finally given solution. I also like all your DIY recipes for shampoo, oil, etc. thanks for keeping us informed! Excellent!!
XO!! ❤️
Naptural85 your hair is on point. i love your curls!!😱😍😍😍😊
Naptural85 you prefer the high porosity mask to the manuka honey mask?
this is another great Video!!
LOL! Much love!

Chandra_Michelle I love my shrinkage. You should embrace it. It's like a mystery to what your length is too.
Your hair looks super healthy! So full, thick, shiny, and springy
shante edwards MADD springy 👌🏾
Whitney you inspired me to go natural almost a year ago now and I'm loving it!!!
XoXo!! I'm so happy you're loving your natural hair Dante!! ❤️❤️❤️
Your hair cooperates with you soooo well ! My hair be like NO GIRL NOT TODAY!
najah7791 your so pretty
najah7791 damn, me too
Lol
Glad am not the only one, now
Lol

Awww, the pregnancy mommy glow you have is *REAL*. Love it!😊😊
Haha! Aw thank you Jasmyn!! ❤️❤️
Naptural85 Yay, you made my Saturday! You're welcome!
Naptural85
I couldn't watch the second pregnancy announcement video on RUclips.
Im a new subscriber on your channel
anyway I love you
stay bless
It seems as if you always post vids pertaining to washing routines on the days when I'm planning on washing mine. Great minds!!!
Haha! Hope it helps some! Have a great wash day! ❤️❤️
Just Me more than likely she has high porosity hair if she's using a high porosity product
I have lo po hair and I use an aloe vera spray but if I use too much it will make flakes that look like dandruff
IKR😍😍😍❤
Just Me I use it on my hair and apply a good amount of jojoba oil on top to each section before my styling products and I never have an issue with flaking. I also use it to refresh my hair during the week.
Am i the only one who doesn't get back in the shower to rinse my deep conditioner? I just rinse in the bathroom or kitchen sink. It's a lot easier.
Nope you're not alone :-)
emylishepherd84 I actually do the opposite. Wash and condition in the sink, apply deep conditioner, then rinse in the shower and allow hair to dry while I clean my body.
emylishepherd84 I use the kitchen sink sprayer. I'm done in 5 minutes. Don't have to waist time drying off and putting on clothes.
emylishepherd84 I just like the feel of the shower lol
emylishepherd84 I actually wash my whole head in the kitchen sink😂. Each process is done at the sink
I just wanna know how people's water don't get cold doing all of this in the shower lol.
Hazel Goddesss mine does! 😩
Hazel Goddesss I turn my water off when I'm detangling. that makes a big difference for me.
Hazel Goddesss cold water is good at locking in moisture. I recommend using it when rinsing off any conditioner
Hazel Goddesss where do you live? In ny the water doesnt get cold unless you turn on the cold water
She turns it off quite a bit if u look closely.
The shrinkage is so real! That curl definition tho' 😍😍😍
right! If my curls looked like that...I wouldn't care about shrinkage
i wonder if i can do anything about my shrinkage, but i'm not complaining
DSFAVORS stretch it i usually braid and twist or do a twist out i usually leave mine in for 3 weeks and wash my hair and water rince in between and moisturize my hair
Mines look like that but my has a lot of frizz🙁
Yes I missed this type of video! Also for anyone who doesn't have Aloe Vera, try Apple Cider Vinegar (1-2 drops in a spray bottle|) for ph balance/ hair and other benefits!
Your hair is my hair goals for 2017! Love you! Hope all is well and can't wait for more videos 💕💕
XoXo!! Thank you so much Queen Danielle!! ❤️❤️❤️
Forget to mention I did your pre-poo Whitney and my mum did the tea rinse O.M.G let's just say our hair is just flourishing :)
Yaaaaay!! That makes me so happy!! I'm glad it's working for you!! ❤️❤️❤️
Mine too @ Genevieve. I'm so happy I stumbled across this. My hair looovvveesss these natural hair routines.
Your pre-poo routine with aloe vera is a total game changer! My hair loveddddd it, it was so moisturised and there was way less shedding. 😃
Yaay!! I'm so happy you liked it!!! ❤️❤️
Honestly one of the only natural hair gurus I can trust with giving me quality info💓, I still go back to numerous older videos to learn/relearn different things and I truly appreciate your page for that!
THIS IS AN AWESOME ROUTINE...simple it is not.

Hi!! Just want to let you know that you were one of my first youtubers and I really appreciate your videos and your knowledge!
When you said detangle and pulled out that rat tail comb an audible "oh shit" escaped me 😂
theEarthChildx lol
I have been doing your pre-poo. It has helped alot with shedding. Thanks Whit!!!
Hey Claymore217!!! I'm so happy the pre-poo is helping!! XoXo!! ❤️❤️❤️
Same! Been doing my wash day routine with this video for a month now and my hair feels better than ever. Thx Whitney!!

I love your very informative hair videos, you 22 century natural woman & NappyFu TV are my go to natural hair videos.
Thank you so much for this wash routine. I tried it out today and my hair feels amazing. I have 4c,4b hair and this is the first time I've ever seen my hair completely defined
Afro all juicy n stuff! Thanks Whit! Hope the baby is treating you well lol💖💖
LMBO!! Thanks girl!! Haha, he is!! ❤️❤️
Naptural85 .......Congrats to you and Felipe' on the baby boy. Excited for the fam!!!
You're welcome!
Your methods have really been working for me. I never use oils and I decided to try to seal with oil (castor and avocado) and rinse a little out , add the leave in after and my hair is still moisturized and soft and shiny even after a week--which was impossible for me before. I love all of your videos! Thank you :)
Question: I understand why you do the quick rinses but do you feel you waste hair products that way?
I think she should just USE LESS PRODUCT to save time and money. Makes "cents", right? :)
Queen Toshe I'm thinking the same thing. Why rinse out the product?
I washed my hair today using the method and my hair came out bomb! 🙌🏾 I was already using the mane choice leave it but I added the aloe vera juice to my routine and pre poo and I love it! Thanks so much keep on being you! ❤️
I feel like you will hit 1,000,000 subbies this year :)
nah, maybe 800,500 mainly coz of her consistency rate, managing multiple channels n struggles with multitasking. She will eventually get there but it will take her a lil bit longer.
babe, there is still 9 months in the year. she will get WAY past 800,500 since shes only a few hundred away for 800,000.
well, shes already at 800,900 so yeah
Shes at 874k so shes almost there 🤗
I just followed this process as closely as I could and just finished twisting up my hair. I can’t...stop...touching...my...hair!!! Thank you for sharing your wisdom and learnings!
Question: If you used the oil to seal in your moisture and used the AVJ to close the cuticle, then wouldnt the leave-in be shut out from penetrating your hair? Shouldnt the leave-in go on before the oil anf AVJ??
avj is now my last step before the seal in
This video along with the products, recipes, and instructions have really really help me get unstuck with my damaged dry natural hair. Before i saw this video i was ready to give up on natural hair. Thank you so much!! You are a gem 💎😊
You hair looks so soft and the definition is crazy!! 💓
Wowwww!! your hair has so much elasticity, I love it and I love how the style came!!!! 😍😍😍😍😩😭💜💜💜💜💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛
Wow your *HAIR* is so beautiful and healthy! :) Love it in the shrinkage stage as well.
the excitement i felt when that notification dropped!! been waiting for this since the prepoo video!!!
LOVE these results and your hair! I just washed my hair 2 days ago, but watching this makes me wanna wash again! Lol😂
Thank you so much for sharing this with us❤
I love the intense look that you have on your face when doing your hair. :-)
She has to concentrate in all that thick afro loveliness!
The only thing I admire more than your hair is you're patience and commitment
Love the video. Do you still use the mango butter? :)
Your curls 😍😍
I love you Naptural85! You inspire me to wear my hair natural, and teach me how to take care of my hair! Growing long hair is hard and takes a long time! But you make it easier and better! That's why I said without you, my hair journey would have been a lot harder and very frustrating! So I would like to say Thank You! (Can't wait to see more of your incredible videos!)
Whoo! I feel like I got a workout from just watching this video! Wash day's are something else.
loved the aloe vera prepoo. its unbelievable how soft and almost restructured my hair felt. my issue was aloe chunks that cling to my strands. had to blend it next time and perfect.
I don't know how you can do all these processes. Personally I'm so lazy 😩
OMG!!!! I did this routine and it has totally changed my hair. This is what I have been looking for. Thank you so much for sharing your expertise 😊
Why do you rinse out your leave-in cause of excess but pre poo for days?
Hey Curly Rhoday! I rinse out the leave-in to get rid of the excess bc it's a heavy product. So if I use too much it could make my hair feel sticky. I'll leave the pre-poo in for days if I need to because sometimes I get busy and can't get to washing it out. But it doesn't affect my hair in any way, most of the aloe/oils are usually absorbed by the second day. But I'll usually just wear a head wrap while the twists are in anyway. ❤️❤️
Naptural85 the leave-in is made to absorb also it just seems like a waste of product that is all.
Falling Star it's her product to waste geez
Followed your exact routine & my hair was soooo soft & hydrated afterwards! I wish I would’ve done a before and after video 😭! I’m so In love with this routine! Thanks so much.
this is a long ass process. but i know its worth it. lol
love it nonetheless. you have my full support.
you always have the best voice overs. clear, thorough, and mistake free
your hair is gorgeous.
LOVE this hairstyle! So cute! Thanks for sharing!
Love you Wit! If only I had fifty years to wash my hair, it would be great too.lol
that leaving in twists while rinsing out conditioner is GOLDEN
when I realized that you got to the end and didn't use a gel, my jaw dropped
i couldn't believe this could be so simple and provide so much moisture and shine. thank you!!
Hello i was waiting for an update on your wash day ! yeay ! :)
Thank you for all your tips!!!!!!!
Great video Whit! So helpful! Length check soon?
Thanks Jai!! I'm happy it helped!! Maybe at the end of this year!! ❤️❤️❤️
Naptural85 Awesome❤️️ Thanks for all you do!
Your hair always looks so moisturized!!! darker hair always looks juicy. my brown hair color always makes it look like it's dry even when it's freshly moisturized
luv the video-- you are so pretty Whit!!
I have a 1 year old son (will be 2 in a few months) and I'm pregnant with another boy. the one thing I dread is wash day, but you make it seem so easy. Holding my arms up for so long and standing in the shower for an hour plus really depletes my energy
I want someone to be as loyal to me as Nap has been to that Tea tree tingle conditioner!!
I just fell out & died twice at your comment! lmao lol It is so true! If you find someone as faithful as Nap is to that Tea Tree, baby... you set! But she lowkey dissed the hell outta that Tea Tree for that 50:50.
Nicole Woodard lol you right. I still haven't tried it after all these years but at this point, I just might!
I don't know if I can ever get my hair to look like that :( ... great results not so simple lol wonder how much all that cost???
mstresedenae just slap some oil on your hair before shampooing, deep condition, and seal with an oil/butter after using a leave in.
I did this along with the pre-poo and omg this has been the easiest wash I have ever done! The pre-poo worked beautifully. And the wash was super easy even with all the steps because my hair was so moisturized after the pre-pp. Love you!
NOTIFICATION SQUAD!
Ayyye! Sup Aida!!! Thanks for watching!! ❤️❤️
Naptural85 LOVE the video!
I'm always so encouraged when I watch your videos. I just wish I could retain moisture in my hair. Its so thick. I'm sure this would help in the growth.
this wash routine is no joke
thanks so much Whitney. I constantly refer to your older videos, they are so helpful! I wish you and the fam well:) take care!
Can I be first??? Let me be great😂😭😭😂
LOL! Hey wigs2waistlength! ❤️
Wigs2WaistLength looool 😂😂😂😂
Wigs2WaistLength ,yessssssss..be great!!!! I'll have to use the statement
I love your shrunken hair!
Wow, I totally believe that's the most moisturized your hair has ever been. Looks incredible! Can't wait to try this when I take out my braids this weekend
Anyone else cringed when she rinsed out some of that expensive Mane Choice leave in?
haha yeah its really expensive. I try to use just enough so that I wont have to rinse it
GURL!!!
Yay it's up! I have been trying to wait patiently Whitney!!! I have been doing the aloe gel and oil pre- poo though....I need to take a before pictures and after as the RUclipsr you got this treatment from suggested so I can see the difference in my edges and possible hair growth. Thanks for your time and effort in helping us with our hair.😄
seems like a lot of work but worth it 👌
I tried this procedure last week and loved it. It worked so well, doing it again. Thanks Whit. 👍👍👍
p.s I happened to have rice water on hand and used it in place of the ACV. It worked well also
I feel like yuh wasting product girl. But your hair looks great.
Washed (in twists), detangled/deep conditioned, and then loc'd: Liquid (aloe juice) Oil (hair oil) Cream (Leave-in) 😉❤️
+Naptural85 lol that's true
Elissa Adesida i think it maybe all the twisting and untwisting. I personally can't do that/dont have the patience for it. And i think detangling with the aloe vera at the end before LOC is a little easier...it is for me and cuts down on breakage from of manipulating. My hair is finer than hers *jelli* lol
Naptural85 what kind of Aloe juice do you use please..is it juice that you can also drink. Cause i could only find one of 99.2% of olie vera
"simple wash day routine" ????
This was super time consuming.
And involved 8 products.
TheAhlivia how many products do you use?
TheAhlivia and how many products do you want to use
TheAhlivia You should already have shampoo and conditioner, I use conditioner and oils for a deep con. and add an egg for protein-based ones to strengthen my hair and it works fine. Maybe try that? Apple cider vinegar can balance PH as well; and leave in is optional obviously but anything you use for moisturizing will do. Well I use household ingredients apart from the shampoo/con/oils so maybe that'll help you too. :)
strawbyrri Thanks for your suggestions, I think I'll try them out :)
Excellent!!
