Thank you for this Video! Do you know if I can still use the RPI GPIOs, after installing the HiFi Berry Deck, for the Day/Night setup or does the HiFi Berry Deck needs all of the GPIOs?
Thanks for the video. I am about to undertake a similar project, but I will be using an Audioquest Dragonfly Red for my USB sound card. I have Hifiberry on my home Pi setup, and I thought it would be more convenient to use the Dragonfly for the auto application. I was after easy integration. Do you have any wisdom to share on the matter?

I would assume you can't have both unless maybe you modify the Hifiberry somehow.

Where in the fusebox do you have the power connected to ? Do you run a add a fuse?
Thanks for the video! Can I ask how you are dealing with powering the whole thing down? Do you just turn it off before you turn off the car?
Yes, exactly. A bit of a process, but not too bad
@@eightbitJuan can you explain the process or have tips for a script?
Exit out of AA, then go through the normal shutdown/power off menu in OAP.
All manual, no scripts on my setup
Hows the hifiberry dac vs the sub audio cable? Much difference?
Less audio distortion in my experience, but not as gigantic of as difference as expected IMO
Where did you find your DC to DC converter?
Good ol' Amazon. Other terms might be:
- Buck converter
- Step down converter
Great video, man! You deserve more subs. keep it up!
Btw, your code is not working anymore. would be glad to use it if it helps you in any way :D
