Underwater Drone Footage 1000’ Pier Remains Northeast Carry Moosehead Lake

@MFEGoingDeep made the trip to Northeast Carry on Moosehead Lake to explore the remains of the 1000’ pier which used to exist here where the public boat landing is now. Lots of history here as steamships would be bringing passengers and supplies in and out from this major hub long ago when they were the means of travel up and down the lake. We take a look underwater at some of the old pilings and structure that remains from what had to be an impressive task to not only build but maintain all those years ago. We also see a nice female Brook trout, some suckers and shiners that now inhabit that area.

Looks like Mooshead lake has its quota of Carp huh?

No Carp, those are suckers. And yeah there’s quite a few. Plenty of feed for the Lake trout!
