I Totally feel you, I’ve been trying to make my channel more personal. Just got a new 13 Fishing Rod and Reel, so far they have been awesome.
There will always be catfish fishing in Europe: Danube river, Lake Mequinenza (reservoir)...

You made a good decision. If anything, spend the extra time with your daughter. You can't go back in time and remake memories with her. When my kids were growing up, I spent time and money making memories with them. At some point they will leave the nest.

Appreciate your thoughts on this subject. My wife and I are avid outdoorsman and we've debated the video aspect and have not for the litany of reasons you've outlined, most of all it's all been done and it's fragmented to millions of fishing videos. Would the labor of filming/editing etc. suck the fun out of being outdoors? Would the need/desperation to film quality content be stressful? We've determined those answers to be yes and have opted to continue to enjoy the outdoors and not venture into filming. It's a personal decision, and only you know the answer!

I'm like a leech between the shoulder blades, you know im there but hard to reach to get rid of. Just be you man it's your channel so we dont really have a right to complain about the content you decide to create for it. If you happen to make a fishing video ill watch and if not ill still watch.
