I struggle with dry skin in my body, specially my legs, to the point where the itching wakes me up in the middle of the night and it's so annoying. I've been using the Eucerin Skin Calming body wash for 3 months now and it's been life changing. I've also been applying Dr Dray's tips in terms of making showers shorter, lowering the temperature of the water and moisturizing on damp skin (saw them on a previous video) and it's worked wonders! Thank you Dr Dray! for your tips and love to see that I made the right choice with Eucerin, I guess watching all your videos has helped me make better choices for my skin :) Regards from Colombia 🇨🇴

“Sweat is water-soluble” is a great thing to remember. I am a big hygiene person w dental care, my contacts, washing hands, etc. And being on the drier side of things (plus having rosacea) one area, I *really* have to remind myself to take it easy is face and body cleansing. And I do somehow get it in my head that soap is a must for sweat. Thanks for the tip. This is a great skincare mantra, of sorts, for us clean freaks who also are perfectionists. Great video as always. Excited to try some of these products out!

Tips: shorter showers about 10min long, warm water not hot, only use body wash in skin folds or visibly dirty areas, to wash sweat off all you need is water not soap (it’s water soluble). Good moisturizers aveeno restorative cream, eucerin skin calming body wash, vanicream gentle wash were her first 3 she mentioned. Apply moisturizer on damp skin right out of the shower or bath.

Because I’m obsessed with hot showers (even though I’m not suppose to take them 🙄) so I have to make sure to make up for the lost of hydration in my skin.

I use the Shea Butter shaving cream and love it. It doesn’t foam up much but it never bothers my skin when I shave, nor does it have a over -drying effect. It also nice to use since it easier to sculpt or frame your scruff vs not seeing any of the hair on your face because it’s covered in shaving foam.

I just wish Aveeno would go gluten free. With mast cell disease and celiac disease, I just cannot risk exposure even though it is thought that gluten cannot be absorbed through the skin. I had a bad reaction on my forehead due to using shampoo and conditioner with Niacinamide in it, and my forehead broke out in hives. Even Vanicream was stinging my face, but my skin loves this Aveeno Restorative Skin Therapy line.
