Listen to Dr. Dray! I am 68 years old and have been doing her recommendations since before she was even born. Neither my face nor my neck show my age (However, my hips and knees sometimes do.😊) 1. Apply a liberal amount of Sunscreen including the neck. 2. Apply even more Sunscreen. 3. Read rules 1 and 2.
LOL! I wish I had known to start these things a few years earlier then when I found dr. Dre. I've been using sunscreen for quite some time due because of a medication that I take but not quite certain when I started use of sunscreen and of course I never reapplied. I was under the impression that I had to stay out of the Sun until I was told by a pharmacist to just use sunscreen! Had I known when I was 25 all of these recommendations, I guess I'd look about twelve years old by now! :-) needless to say I don't think I'd be too happy about that either, but I'd have great skin before the acne set in which for me seemed to be in my twenties.

Could you consider reviewing k-beauty brand isntree’s line of sunscreens? They have a mineral sunscreen and two chemical sunscreens in the form of a gel and stick. Their chemical sunscreens also use more than two filters and are fragrance free!
I've been better about not looking down at my phone especially on my long commutes, but still need to work on doing that when I'm just lounging around. This little exercise has helped my posture too 💖
I have the red light mask and I have been amazed how much better my skin looks. I would love to have the neck & hand because I have seen such a difference in my face. I do use sunscreen on my face, neck and body everyday no matter if I am leaving the house or not. Thanks 😊
I like to spray my perfume on my hairbrush and brush it through my hair, I feel it lasts much longer than when sprayed on the skin. I read this in a magazine years ago and have been doing it ever since.
It has actually been proven that fragrances do last longer on hair than they do on skin. So your observation of fragrances lasting longer when sprayed on your hair as opposed to your skin is definitely correct! I'm always shocked that more people don't know this for some reason. Many brands now include a fragrance spray specifically for your hair in their collections that once only included your standard perfume, body spray, lotion, shower gel, etc. I have been using Pink Sugar's fragrance hair spray for several years now & I love it. It is harder to find these sprays in average department stores with a makeup/fragrance isle, but you can always find them at Sephora and/or Ulta beauty stores and many places online. The only difference in the Pink Sugar hair fragrance and body sprays are the product ingredients, which have been slightly altered to cater to your hair instead of your skin. Some ingredients that aren't the best for your hair have been removed and other ingredients that are good for your hair have been added. Definitely something to look into for anyone that hasn't yet.
I'm 25 and had been adhering to all the lifestyle advices mentioned for the past 4-5 years. Also been applying whatever skincare products I put on my face to my neck as well everyday for the same period. But the neck wrinkles I've gotten during my teens have never gone away. Anyway, I bought the omnilux led mask a month ago and have been using it diligently for about 4-5 times a week (10 minutes each use). Haven't noticed much difference in my skin yet, but I've read that results will only be noticeable after at least 2-3 months. I'll consider adding peptides to my skincare! Hopefully the wrinkles will at least fade a little in 3 months time.
I’m 40 and I have very visible turtle rings on my neck and chest I used aquaphor (extra thick Vaseline) at night on neck chest and those bags that develop where the arms connect to the torso just above the armpit and tightens everything up and the rings totally go away and it lasts like two weeks but I still put it on nightly, it’s amazing and the safest thing you can use. Sometimes I use a vitamin E cream stead. You see results after two weeks only have to use it once a day
My neck skin has been so irritated and itchy and it’s been difficult to find any lotions that gave me any relief. I even developed several dry patches where I scratched the neck. The lotions I tried so far gave me burning sensation until yesterday. I got the DRMTLGY neck cream and I used it last night. It’s a miracle. It’s the first night in weeks that I didn’t have itchiness! The redness went away also. So far, I’m very impressed!
I want to give a big shoutout for Omnilux, I use face contour for only one time which was 10 minutes and saw the the redness on my cheeks reduced. I didn’t even know red light can reduce redness of skin. After using it everyday to now, it’s been 15 days. The redness on my cheeks are almost gone!! Haven’t seen any benefits on fine lines. But I am so happy with it already.
I’ve been using a red light therapy panel and it’s improved my overall skin health dramatically especially my neck area. Using a moisturizer am/pm and spf have helped also
@@guyplay oo i see.. so when ur doing led therapy on ur face, did u do it after u put on skincare or you just do it on ur cleansed face without any skincare? TQ for ur reply.. really appreciate it..

Same. I would notice subtle things here and there but it wasn't anything that was a big deal. But these past two weeks it's all I can look at. I keep noticing different things and it's driving me crazy. I've become obsessed with it.
I work out when I listen to Dr Dray's video's and I watch only when there is like a demonstration how to apply something, it's really fun working out and learning something new and there is a new video daily, go for it

I've never drank alcohol, don't smoke, wear sunscreen daily, and get 7-9 hours of sleep a night. Jesus, I just realized how lame I am to be 26, but my neck is gonna be tighttttt 😂 Now, I need to start exercising again to be fair because I do have noodle arms atm.
I find tea to be a good appetite suppressant as well - which is great for limiting snacking between meals and fasting but you have to drink it everyday to notice that. Hibiscus is very sweet tasting without any sugar. It's amazing!!!
I got that Eucerin cream it’s so rich and good especially for winter. They also had a night cream with retinol so I got that too and I love it, rich and moisturizing, zero irritation! Great video, thanks, Dr. Dray!
Did you get the Eucerin in a tub? I was surprised how greasy it was, and how much petrolatum It contained. I have to wipe my hands off with a napkin or paper towel first to get the excess off, and then scrub with soap to get the rest of the greasy feeling off my hands. I tried it on my feet and it seems to just sit on top of the skin and not be absorbed. I would never use it on my face, but it fits good reviews. What are your thoughts, and do you use it on your face?
@@stephaniesmith4114 the Q10 one the Dr Dray recommends comes in a 1.7 oz jar, not sure about the one in a tub. I love it, it’s great for dry skin. If you’re oily you probably won’t like it.

Been on ORAL minoxidil 2.5mg daily for two months…my hair is noticeably thicker and longer…and my blood pressure stopped creeping up. Life changing. Praise God. Of note, I’ve also been eating more throughout the day…I think nutrition and protein intake play a big role. Be careful with calorie counting and restricting diets …your hair and nails need plenty of nutritious food! The key is to exercise DAILY and drink lots of water so that all of the eating doesn’t cause weight gain. Your skin hair and nails need lots of food to stay healthy!
surprised to hear about the sun protection on the neck indoors. Actually, every word of this statement makes me chuckle. I am a 60 year old woman, living on the beach, who has never used sunscreen on the neck and very little and random on my face. And everyone gives me 40 y.o. Even if they exaggerate the compliment, I definitely do not buy this sunscreen prayer just looking at myself in the mirror. I shy away from sunscreen for a reason, as I fear more damage from it than benefit (the ingredients)
Smoked Meats are actually cooked at LOW temps...."low and slow" is the method. As a southerner, BBQ is LIFE where I live and the way we cook it is for a VERY long time (12-14 hours!) at Temps MUCH lower than you would use in an oven. It's not on direct heat and cooks at anywhere from 185° to 230° for a long time which is what makes the tough cuts of meat juicy and tender. You bake chicken in the oven at temperatures 100° or more HIGHER than smoked meats are cooked. As for other kinds of meat...there are methods such as "cold smoking". Bottom line, Smoked meats don't get cooked at high Temps (compared to baking) and are whole cuts of meat....not processed foods.

I always take a deep, full body sigh when the subject of sleep is discussed 😳 I have been an insomniac since age 6 (perhaps younger but my memories are fuzzier) Along with daily migraines or tension headaches at the same tender age. Ive often wondered how I have survived literally sleepless. I tried Ambien shortly after it was approved and was so grateful for the break from thought! I immediately purchased a coffee maker with a timer! Sleep...a revelation 🧡 Until I developed the side effect of going places with no memory of it ~ Yikes! Bye bye Ambien 😥 Years later I began taking Klonopin for sleep. Still do. I average about 5 hours nightly. I accept that. Of course I began trying what natural remedies were available in college. L-Tryptophan was supposed to be the go to. Nope! (Not on the market anymore. Some negative studies) Then Melatonin, Valerian root, chamomile tea, etc. Nada. Zip. Zilch. Nothing! I will continue my Klonopin. I will never get the requisite 7-9 hours. Yet I cannot express the relief of giving my brain a break. "Sleep knits up the unraveled sleeve of care"~SHAKESPEARE Thanks a million for all of your no B.S. knowledge ♥️
Yeah I have severe chronic pain so I don't sleep well and haven't for 15 years and my cortisol levels are permanently very high. I try avoid valium, sometimes it helps though today all day I've had a horrible headache and neckache all day this happens sometimes if it actually knocks me out for once and I stay in the same spot too long.

I had been wanting to contact you about information on PoC so this video is a delight. I first started developing PoC at 55. My grandmother and all 5 of her sisters had it. It's good to know that there are some things that I can do to tone it down a bit. Mine has never itched but costume jewelry near my neck can't happen. Thank you for the video!
I'm 65 and my neck naturally looks young - I don't have all the bags and wrinkles of some women 10 yrs. younger than I am! I also don't smoke, and get about 4 hrs. of sleep a night. I don't spend a lot of time outside, and when I do go out, I never wear sunscreen. I also don't wear scarves, except in winter. I drink 4 cups of dark roast coffee a day - only the first one has milk and sugar. I drink Jasmine green tea all day from Friday night to Saturday night (3 or 4 cups).
I always look forward to your videos! Because of you, I have adopted a simple, yet effective skincare routine that doesn’t break the bank! Thanks so much!!

Hi Dr. Dray. You said we could use retinol on the neck. Does this apply to retinoic acid like tretonoin as well, or would that be too strong to even use once a week?
I've tried all sorts of products, lots of expensive brand creams and silicone (my skin didn't like it), I found something incredible from Big Island Bees - Healing Bee Balm with Wilelaiki beeswax and honey. It's all natural and locks in moisture and it erases fine lines when you put it on, it's the only one that works on my crepey neck skin. I'm not going to buy the $85 jar of moisturizer from Estee Lauder anymore.

Eat ginger for skin elasticity! I love pickled ginger and eat a few thin slices every day.
I will start tmw.
Using my NuFace makes a big difference. Firms and defines. Yes, takes commitment. I avoid my thyroid area. Just thought I would say ☺️
Thanks, Dr. Dray. At 61 my neck wrinkled. Never thought it would happen.
Girl, I’m going to start doing that - thanks for the tip!!!
Wow great tip! Did not know that!
I like to spray it up in the air, and then step under the cloud of perfume so that it settles on my hair. It definitely lasts longer this way!

Any updates??
I’m 40 and I have very visible turtle rings on my neck and chest I used aquaphor (extra thick Vaseline) at night on neck chest and those bags that develop where the arms connect to the torso just above the armpit and tightens everything up and the rings totally go away and it lasts like two weeks but I still put it on nightly, it’s amazing and the safest thing you can use. Sometimes I use a vitamin E cream stead. You see results after two weeks only have to use it once a day
@@langyd4518 aquafor? I'm not familiar. Is it something you used and then put Vaseline on top of it?
Pique tea is EXPENSIVE!!! I guess it better be amazing for those prices!!
A good way to become more mindful of neck movement is to apply too many serums so that your neck is very sticky. :)
Thanks!
Does red light on the neck have any adverse affect on the thyroid?
I would love an answer to this question!
Using a moisturizer am/pm and spf have helped also
Hi, do you use red light theraphy daily and may i know how long it takes per session daily? TQ
@@lateautumn3282 yes I do it every morning. 10 minutes on the front and 10 on my back. Every other day I do my legs front and back.
@@guyplay oo i see.. so when ur doing led therapy on ur face, did u do it after u put on skincare or you just do it on ur cleansed face without any skincare? TQ for ur reply.. really appreciate it..
@@guyplay what device do you use?
@@lateautumn3282 I use it first thing in morning when I wake up. Sometimes after I shower. I only use a moisturizer on my face in the evening. If you use active ingredients, you may want to consider starting with clean skin.
I’m now 40 and I’m now realizing the importance of taking care of my neck. Definitely start as young as you can. I’m taking care of it now.
Same. I would notice subtle things here and there but it wasn't anything that was a big deal. But these past two weeks it's all I can look at. I keep noticing different things and it's driving me crazy. I've become obsessed with it.
Happy Ash Wednesday! I hope everyone is doing well despite the freezing weather 🙏
Stop smoking, stop drinking, and go to sleep. Dr. Dray is just here to shut down the party.
😂😂😂
That’s funny
Lol never drunk or smoked in my life thank God

Too funny

Dr. Dray: "don't be a couch potato"

I work out when I listen to Dr Dray's video's and I watch only when there is like a demonstration how to apply something, it's really fun working out and learning something new and there is a new video daily, go for it
Me too!

Me too! Lol😁
I am already 60 from Manila, Philippines and have been watching your vlog for years now. Thank you for your very informative tips that are very helpful to me. Keep safe.
Lame? No. Foundations for healthy lifestyle
@@krystal3721 Haha yeah, I mean I don't feel like I'm missing out! Just "lame" to lots of peers lol

I find tea to be a good appetite suppressant as well - which is great for limiting snacking between meals and fasting but you have to drink it everyday to notice that. Hibiscus is very sweet tasting without any sugar. It's amazing!!!
I have had an old neck since I was a child. I'm just going to live with it.
This is me but with my hands. They've looked old since I was a teenager even though I've used hand cream daily...
Lol
@@stephaniesmith4114 I just checked the ingredients petroleum is not on there Shea butter seems to be the main occlusive. I wish I could link it for you but I don’t know how lol
@@peony70 I see I made a mistake. I was thinking about the eucerin moisturizer that comes in a tub and has petrolatum as the first ingredient. It's a sticky mess. But, now I see the one that Dr Dre is suggesting is completely different. Thank you so much for pointing that out! I'm going to order some of this right now. 🙂
I'm from Argentina and we drink a lot of yerba mate which has antioxidants :)
Amlactin works great on the neck for wrinkles.
Susan, which product in the line do you use?
surprised to hear about the sun protection on the neck indoors.
As with any relationships, it's the everyday little things that count. Thank you Dr Dray!! 👍
What about StriVectin TL Advanced Tightening Neck Cream PLUS...for a 'turkey neck'?
Wow didnt realize about perfume on the neck..thank you Dr. Dray :)
I love your videos, it’s a lot to take in but you are teaching me so much. I have managed so far (72) to keep my skin looking good, and want to continue. Watching from the south of France. Thank you.
I’m 47 and have little wrinkles and aging in my face because I had good skin care , however I didn’t use products on my neck and I’m seeing aging there faster! 🙈 now I’m using everything in my neck !!
Thank you! I keep my neck pretty “greased” and always wear sunscreen
Love that!
I really enjoy your channel. I always have to make myself a nice coffee and take a few minutes to watch your videos. It is so very relaxing and I have learned SO MUCH. You're an absolute GEM. Many thanks from South Texas.
How can everyone not like this video? She is awesome and packs in real and honest advice! Thank you Dr. Dray!
I first became a nightowl in the womb. It's been a struggle, but I'm game. Never wanted to pollute my temple, so that has been no problem. I prefer clean.
I have been following your advice and I have seen an improvement in my skin! Love all the information you provide!
Same cost as a NECK LIFT- is my choice! small procedure &it is Permanent
I always take a deep, full body sigh when the subject of sleep is discussed 😳
I have been an insomniac since age 6 (perhaps younger but my memories are fuzzier) Along with daily migraines or tension headaches at the same tender age. Bye bye Ambien 😥
Years later I began taking Klonopin for sleep.

I can relate to your story, having lived with four hours at night for decades. It sure is no fun!
Things must be really bad in that area because I've lost half my hair this year. Need to get a bloodtest which will say "yeah everything is out of whack" just like usual lol.
Please get your hormones checked. A complete panel . 200 mg. Progesterone at bedtime changed my life
Pink is your color! Very pretty!
LOVE The Sana Soy lotion. I have no idea if it is helping, but I love the way it feels patted onto the skin.
Do you get kickbacks from this product? Transparency?
You are the best you are definitely my personal doctor on RUclips anything I look for I always look at your channel thank you so much
What I like the most in this young lady is that she is very natural, with no make ups, no hair dos, no long and ridiculous nails.
There is nothing wrong with make up, hair dos and long nails. Everyone has a different style, If we did not this world would be so boring
A good product like Thriveco anti aging face and neck cream along with face yoga and drinking adequate water, helps me in lessening neck wrinkles. Using a good product regularly is must.
Thank you again for this amazing explanation! :) What do you think of eucerin Q10 night cream? I think it has retinol, like the day cream for nothing and night cream for night
Thanks so much! I'm wondering if the DRMTLGY neck cream can be used on the face, as well? It's got so many good ingredients and so why not use it on your whole face and neck area? Thanks in advance to anyone who can answer that question for me. 😊🙏
That Costco sweater! So pretty on you! I’m not gonna lie, I buy almost everything you buy at Costco if you love it. That includes the clothing. I also love all your Costco favs!

if it doesn't work get Prai neck cream, it improves your neck in 7 days and just gets better. shopping channels or direct, but shopping channels usually cheaper with a trial refund.
Dr. Can you please do a video on skincare for women trying to get pregnant? Should I be afraid to use my retinols etc? My skin has gone downhill since going through IVF.
you look so pretty and glowy recently dr dray!
your eyelashes are so long too - im jealous
What if you’re 72. Doing all lifestyle protocols vitamins, organic food, moisturizing for years. Will red light therapy help?
can you please make a video on aging hands and sun damaged hands ?
I would love to purchase the teas you are suggesting, particularly the turmeric for my rheumatoid arthritis and the matcha for all around good health but I went to the website and they ate so very expensive! Healthy products are out of reach for some due to the cost.
Hi Dr.
Thank you as always first. Is there any reasons to worry about thyroid exposure to the red light?
Dr Dray: what do you think of Facial exercises? Do they work. Anything I can besides surgery to stop a sagging jawline?

Dr. Dray, what type of resurfacing laser do you recommend for sagging neck? I've googled and fractual and CO2 come up. I'm 55. I'm already doing red light therapy and NuFace which are helping, I believe.
Hi, here is a partial list of ingredients for the DRMTLGY neck cream you recommended; Phenoxyethanol, Pentylene Glycol, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Sodium Polystyrene Sulfonate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Secale Cereale , Allantoin, Sorbitan Laurate, Polysorbate 20, Sodium Hydroxide, 3-Aminopropane Sulfonic Acid, Calcium Hydroxymethionine, Disodium EDTA, Hydroxyethylcellulose,
QUESTION: So as a doctor, are you saying that you are OK with us putting Phenoxyethanols, Crosspolymers, and Sodium HYDROXIDE (LYE) on our skin!!!!???? Which Directly Absorbs into our blood streams??? I'm just curious... To me, it doesn't matter how much natural or beneficial things are in something if its also loaded with TOXIC and Known Carcinogens. What's your take? Thanks...
