Hi Dr Dray! I had a ganglion cyst in my wrist for about 2 months and it kept getting bigger every week. I put Castor Oil on it and wrapped it at night with a piece of gauze soaked in castor Oil on the cyst using a compression sock. The ganglion cyst literally disappeared in 2 days. So wonderful.

I’m of Danish decent, blonde fair haired lady age 57. I started 3 months ago using castor oil 2-3x’s/week on my hair. I have much less hair fall & my hair is starting to feel fuller & is shinier. I’ve also have been applying it to a fatty benign tumor above my knee. It was an inch & a half long & quarter inch wide. Castor oil packs night & day has reduced it to a third of the size at this point & has softened & dissolving the tumor so much! Maybe scientists who aren’t swayed by money should research castor oil. Then pray big pharma doesn’t try to get greedy & make castor oil expensive somehow. There are quite a lot of positive testimonies out there. I highly recommend using castor oil.

Same here. Resolved the eczema at the base of my scalp. I use it only once a week. I mix in an applicator 1 part olive oil and 3 parts castor oil. I apply to dry hair from my scalp to the ends of my hair. Then wear a shower cap, wrap a towel around my head and watch a movie or whatever for about 1/2 hr to hour. I then rinse, gently wash, rinse again and wash one more time. My hair is shiny and silky looking and has never looked better (I have highlighted hair that was over processed). I tried coconut oil as a carrier oil with it but I have sensitive skin and the coconut oil can be an irritant and it definitely was irritating to my scalp. Olive oil as a carrier oil works much better.
Fast forward a month of using castor oil for my hair, and I can tell you with 100% certainly that it really does help with hair growth. I have fine baby hairs along my hairline that I haven’t had in years!!! I’m going to try it on my eyebrows now too. almost two decades ago I started adding a small amount of castor oil (about a quarter size into my shampoo). You would think adding it into shampoo wouldn't really do anything and that you would be washing it out immediately but I read some anecdotal evidence supporting it for hair growith so I decided to try it. I remember after using it in my shampoo for about two months and then going to my hairdresser for a trim. She was astounded at my hair health and said I had baby hairs growing in everywhere. The castor oil was the only thing I could think of that I have done differently.

The dermatologist gave me a thick ointment that cleared it pup. Two weeks ago it started again, this time like a shawl covering my entire neck and on my chest! My neck was red and on fire! I had ordered a bottle of pure cold pressed organic castor oil so I used it. I pinned my hair up high on my head, I poured some in my hands to warm it up and used it on my neck, face, and eyes and slept on my back. Now, my skin is very dry and it seems to, for the most part, sink into my skin--not immediately but in a half hour or so. I really think my skin looks less dry since I started using it. In addition, I had a basal cell carcinoma on the side of my nose a couple of years ago. They surgically removed it using Mohs surgery but it resulted in a scar starting at the corner of my eye going to the corner of my nose--22 stitches. Every since then, that scar line has been extremely irritated looking and red. Since using castor oil, the redness is gone and it seems to have flattened pretty much completely. Anyway, it's a win for me.

Castor oil will soften up the hard skin and it will come off leaving smooth skin behind. No breakouts. I am 58 and this is a miracle for me. I love a double wash in the morning - use the oil all over your face then cover w warm cloth. Pat the left over oil in and then use a moisturizing cleanse ( Le Roche Posay is very good) then I highly suggest good molecules ( very affordable on Amazon- it’s made with all natural ingredients- the daily moisturizer and the hylauranic acid booster essence- swear by … they are affordable but not cheaply made.

I used a mix of castor oil and sweet almond oil on the psoriasis on the nape of my neck, of which I had for 15 years. I tried all other traditional treatments and nothing cured it. Those treatments had some very temporary improvements.

    That was in 2016.
I haven't had any psoriasis or any flare-ups since.

I've had a dry scaly patch (about the size of a quarter) on my face for a couple of years, and nothing has helped it. I recently watched some videos about castor oil so decided to try it. I'm actually shocked that within 3 days of putting castor oil on my face twice daily, that dry patch has almost completely disappeared. I've been smearing the oil on my entire face and it's really helped my dry skin. Now I'm using it for my hands, arms, legs and feet. I'm a paramedic in a very rural area (hot in summer and can get below 0 in the winter. We also have a lack of humidity that sometimes is as low as 8-9% so dry...dry...dry...) and constantly washing and disinfecting my hands so my skin is very dry. I also work 24-48 hour shifts wearing heavy boots, so my feet get rough (and sore). After my shifts, and taking a hot shower (opening the pores), I apply castor oil and massage it into my feet. Someone asked me if I apply castor oil. Actually, what I say is that I smear it...I glop it. I drizzle it. It's thick and gooey, but my goodness it works.

I've actually just started using castor oil on my eyelids, as a desperate attempt to help my severe dry eyes. I was constantly feeling like something was in my eye and despite heat therapy, massage therapy, different eye drops, nothing else was helping me rid this problem and blinking was uncomfortable. I even had a humidifier going to put moisture into the air. I realized after a day or so of using castor oil ontop of my lids at night that the irritated feeling of severe dry eye was gone. I still use drops, but the "bumps" I imagine were under my lids (as I've been told from the eye doctor in the past due to dry eye irritation) are no longer there. So dang grateful!

I bought organic pure hexane free cold pressed castor oil and put a drop in each eye at night and it fixed my dry eye problem in days! It was a dream! I don't know if it works for everyone, but it did me! I have also used it around my eyes. Glad others had success with this natural treatment.

Viscosity can be abated by simply rubbing a liberal amount of oil between hands: then lay hands on area to be treated, without rubbing. Repeat transfer process until all surface areas have been treated. This is a pretty gentle and effective way to apply the product, soaking into the skin relatively quickly. Really helps with inflammation and bruising as well as skin torments specifically around the eyes.

More anecdotal information. I started using a castor oil/jojoba oil blend about 12 yrs ago as an oil cleanse. I was in my late 50s. I was going through some stressful life changes and was experiencing recurring cystic acne that nothing seemed to help. Serums had also become very popular and I was experimenting with different serum products for the signs of aging I was seeing. In frustration, I stopped all the other products and started using the castor oil cleanse and just used jojoba oil for moisturizing. Within a month my acne was gone. The oils also seemed to give my skin as much wrinkle minimization/good effects as any of the previous products I had tried. Since then I have added some additional products (mostly other facial oils) to my routine, but I still use the castor oil blend for cleansing. If for some reason I am not able to do the oil cleanse, I can tell a difference in skin volume and feel the next morning. So, I can say it has been a winner for my skin.
