This is Chris Connelly not Al. Chris also sang on early Ministry albums, you can see him singing So What on the in case you didn't feel like showing up video.
I remember so often going into Wax Trax Records in Chicago on a Friday or Saturday night to have Chris ring up my purchases before I went dancing at Club 950.
Same here, hang at Wax Trax, then off to Punkin Donuts,Alley, and finally Medusa's till it closed. At the end of the night/morning back to the western suburbs to go to HS in the morning. Great memories
Seeing and hearing this brings tears of joy to my face. It reminds me of a time long ago when industrial sound was peaking and all my favorites were on their game. With Ministry and Skinny Puppy leading the way. My only regret is not seeing this lineup of Revco.
Elizabeth Rubino You know Chris Connelly does a tribute to David Bowie on occasion. He does a very good job unlike Manson who always sounds like an angry teenager. Manson has always been a poser. Listen to Ministry's "Burning Inside" and tell me how great Manson is.
Wow, I never knew there was a video to this industrial classic. First heard it at DNA Lounge where it packed the dancefloor... Had to to buy it the next day...
can't believe i haven't listened to these guys before now, proper fucking groove. can't shake the feeling that Viagra Boys might have taken a bit of inspiration, despite being in a completely different genre. then again, energy is eternal and punk is a mindset
I stopped after Anismotomia. That has some solid tracks. Everything after that was when Barker left and he was the only one who kept Al from going off into his worse musical ideas.
rowland s howard uses this bassline too, and, it took me 48 hrs n 6 pitchers of guinness, to jogg my fook'n memory! cheers 4 the post! this bloody RULES!!
had this box set VHS and the black box. still have the tin and all the audio tape used as packing material. i remember spooling the tape hoping it contained some gems, i think it was just a loop of trent’s supernaut. 😤
I always imagine this being played during the opening credits of a 80s teen thriller, with th while intro being a slow camea pan down a long alley way, steam, los o crazy characters, then when the vocals come in the camera rises to a rooftop, and vocal are done wearing a lab coat, a duck mask screaming into a police microphone, doin some hop dance.
really?? you must be speaking sarcastically Liz.. Only a monster wouldn't grieve their dying father.

Paul Barker, and yeah his bass playing really gave Ministry and RC a nice groovy sound on certain tracks. Shame him and Al can't get along, they really suck musically without each other tbh

Just HOW did they get that sort of vocal effects? I saw them once (St. Louis …. Illinois!). and that was the first time I saw anyone howling into a mic with a megaphone. Still, I don’t think that’s really the way they created this type of vocals. I would’ve thought that the megaphone couldn’t be heard. It could be a fun experiment to try someday…
Low shutter in camera effect. When you film you double the shutter speed. So if you film at 24 frames the shutter is set to 48. If I put the shutter lower than 48 frames the camera starts to look like that filming. All slow and wonky like that. If you raise the shutter you get faster movement effects usually seen during fights or battles on screen.
The way they try to put petrol in that can, then run makes me think they're drunk off their ass. I just don't see smack as being a sit-down-social drug. Maybe, when waking up, have a bit of "breakfast" and go about their day, but alone. I can see it being like that.
Explaining Muggles is both difficult and frustrating. Basically, they are lesser humans who provide basic raw necessities. Any Muggle could free themselves by simply embracing the truth and logic of reality. They devised a contemporary prison of their own making because they can’t accept the spiritual truth. Sometimes Muggles will try and break out, sure. There instances such as the St. Vitus dance where they have attempted to migrate. Be warned. There could be a mass muggle migration where they attempt to break their chains.
If I had some alien type audio or Hi-Rez, this would be my first song choice, like I can hear African type drumming in the background from shitty audio quality right now, I want to hear this song deep😅
This song has been on a permanent loop in my head since 1990.
Right!!!
Along with a few other I hope :D
👍
R.I.P. Bill Rieflin.
God Damn Right.
May he rest in peace
Revco slams it in the dirt...with you under it..I love the looks when people at work hear Revco coming from my truck as I pull in the parking lot
One of the greatest industrial songs and bands ever. Uncle Al is my hero.
Al has turned into an antifa loving fuggin idiot.
one of the greatest tracks ever recorded of all time
🎉
Al Jourgensen is the man he has done all sorts of good music with different bands & styles of music
This is Chris Connelly not Al. Chris also sang on early Ministry albums, you can see him singing So What on the in case you didn't feel like showing up video.
Al had shit-all i do with this masterpiece. Look deeper.
@@donovansmith7310 based.
Fk yeah he is, one of a kind
@@donovansmith7310 Al helped make this album, along with Paul Barker… but Chris is singing and he is such an underrated performer
I remember so often going into Wax Trax Records in Chicago on a Friday or Saturday night to have Chris ring up my purchases before I went dancing at Club 950.
That’s fucking cool.
me too! Club Medussa''s (i don't like Kraken) Navy Bootz!!
Same here, hang at Wax Trax, then off to Punkin Donuts,Alley, and finally Medusa's till it closed. At the end of the night/morning back to the western suburbs to go to HS in the morning. Great memories
950 was the best. Used to go Neo too.
@@jimkubik1112 your high school years were infinitely more interesting than mine.

Ah...The music of my youth!
All hail Revco
Ох. как хорошо в те года заходило, спасибо парни вам за драйв и напор! на кассете в плеере слушал
Как познакомился с ними?
@@ЦеллнвдпввшеешЖгажосщну через Ministry, конечно!
I still have this on vinyl from when I bought it 20+ years ago. Best song ever.
BARKER'S BEASTLY BASS!!!
Two notes, that's all he needs because he's Paul motherfucking Barker.
If only I had a time machine to go back to these good old days.
Chris Conelly is the shit, I wish he still did this style
He still does with his new project Cocksure. I have seen them live 3 times & they are great
Chris Connelly WILL be playing this style with The Cocks reunion this month - Sept 16th in NYC at STIMULATE! :) STIMULATE-ME.com for details
Elizabeth Rubino You know Chris Connelly does a tribute to David Bowie on occasion. He does a very good job unlike Manson who always sounds like an angry teenager. Manson has always been a poser. Listen to Ministry's "Burning Inside" and tell me how great Manson is.
Xris SMack and again Nov 18 in NYC with Paul Barker, Richard 23 and Luc Van Acker as well as opening acts Front Line Assembly and Cubanate.
cocksure!
Wow, I never knew there was a video to this industrial classic. First heard it at DNA Lounge where it packed the dancefloor... Had to to buy it the next day...
loved that club!!
I was there!! Death Guild forever!!!
90s music differs so much from all. I really miss it...
Music is pure trash anymore, last good song out on any kind of radio lol was that Elton John REMAKE

Chi-town Industrial at it's Finest.
Love this band....much more fun than the direction Ministry went.
I treat ministry like Metallica, I cut them off at paslm 69! That was their black album
@@thumbbusters2401 great analogy
@Rolman80 80 I like psalm 69, but not too into the black album.
@@thumbbusters2401 you're totally missing out on some good albums then.

“We affirm that the beauty of the world has been enriched by a new form of beauty: the beauty of speed.”
Two notes have never sounded better.
Almost everything on Wax trax label is considered Industrial between 86 and 92 plus tvt record's
They were really an excellent sounding band, and I'm glad to have rediscovered them.

Which band/project/solo record?
I see Al J, Paul B.,Chris C., Ogre and Luc v.A. is there Bill in the vid?
this stands the test of time and it is even more relevant now in 2012 they were way a head of the times.
Hello from 2023, still standing, dancing.
I remember this at Numbers Houston!
Me too! Sneaking out of the house....going to Numbers....going to Diners News...then coffee at Charlies.

Mad max
Remember what it’s like when we are dreaming dreaming dreaming
Signature H-Gun video. Right up there with Stigmata, Down In It, etc.
Does My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult qualify as industrial?
I would personally call them something like: Sleazy industrial groove-rock with a touch of blues/jazz...
Anackreaon 100% industrial. Confessions of a Knife is one of the best industrial albums ever made.
100%
Without hesitation
No
awesome classic
Chris Connelly owns this song \m/
When it's time to go, I'm the first to know!
Saw this in Detroit 1988?
Sad. Alone. Where are y'all?
Spent my life alone n im not joking, only person i talk to is my mom, just turnt 38
i miss paul barker !!! he added alot to ministry groove too (something lacking in new ministry thrash metal sound)
Amen Paul was so much a part of the old (and good) ministry & revco sound.
