You sitting and hoping the internet company personel leave the building with everything still on basically an abandoned building with power on still youd have to hope noone tries to escape zombies by breaking in there and zombies get in spraying the ooze on the wires causing the shut down same with the power supply areas

I think this would be interesting to add, but while I was playing the Walking Dead, my dad, having served in the military, told me that the unsanitary situation alone for the characters suck. He said that people imagine themselves there with only mild discomfort, but if you actually experience in real life it's just a chaotic, humid, sticky, hungry, thirsty mess, with flies just crawling and flying around you, and he added that the blood stains as well kind of just doubles it. It's no where near to what you can imagine until you experience it for yourself.

Can confirm, my situation wasn't that bad, it was just a student bootcamp done in military style in a military forest training area (my school has nothing to do with military btw) just going the entire day caked in mud, wet, and needing to sleep on top of bare ashpalt is bad enough, add flies, smells, and blood, and I will most likely noped out after just a little while
And worst of all, little to no hope. On the run constantly, no safe zone to get warm, wash yourself and rest without worrying about waking up to a bunch of corpses eating your innards.
I can't claim to know as I'm just a civilian, but I imagine that even at war with death around the corner there would be some solace in knowing that somewhere else there's peace and life will continue even if you don't make it.

I love how this lists all the good points on why you wouldn't really want a zombie apocalypse. Like yeah, what if you run out of toilet paper, clean water, home-cooked meals, internet, lights, etc. Like, there's so many things you'd lose. And if it's running zombies, you ain't standing a chance.
Would be kinda dope to fight zombies though
Most of that list you can resolve quite easily.
Toilet Paper? This one you should just skip. TP is trash, man. Get a bidet!
Clean Water? Boil it. Get your water from the ocean, from a river, from the rain, and boil it. Now it's clean.
Home-cooked meals? Everything is home cooked if zombies ate all the Subway workers.
Internet? Might be out for a few weeks, but once you clear out the zombies you can try turning it off and on again.
Lights? Bring a flashlight and some batteries.
Bed? If you gotta travel, bring a sleeping bag and air mattress with manual pump. Nice :D
Soap? You can make it if you know the right ingredients, but better yet just take some with you from home and raid a grocery store for some more. That'll last you quite a while, at least until you can make more.
Toilet? Easy. Just hook up a toilet with your clean water, and pump it somewhere. You might need some piping, but you can make your own or just get some from the nearest home depot. And yeah, I know they aren't open. That doesn't mean they don't have spare supplies you can use. And if that won't work, grab a big heavy object and smash up some abandoned house and scavenge all the plumbing you could ever want.
I'm missing the part where it's unlivable.
Not to mention that in order to actually desire life as it is, I have to take antidepressants. Without those I'd just kershoot myself
@@Mathignihilcehk not everyone knows how to make/do that shi-, it cost a lot of effort in making soap alone, cost resources too, that again needs to be processed together in a certain way to get the desired result, manufacturing might not be as consistent and it takes a lot of time
@@Mathignihilcehk and it takes time, effort and resources for luxuries that could be used to much more likely survive the next day, essentially in the grand scheme of things in terms of survival some of those things are non-essentials. Most likely we'd be living like medieval peasants in the zombie apocalypse
I literally just told my daughter the Zombie Apocalypse seemed like too much effort, so I would just lay down and die verse trying to survive. then 5 minutes later she shared this video. I am now laughing to death instead.

If u are unhappy with student loans go to a less expensive school.
That's not how it works most of the time in some/most places in America. Because the way it works here is your parents have to save money from the moment your born. And even then it's still gonna cost you a arm and a leg don't depend on financial aid because that's gonna make you consider selling your organs on the black market to pay your debts off. And if you don't go to college the chances of you getting your dream job are slim if your lucky. Even with college getting jobs are harder because when someone sees a top school like Yale or somewhere that'shigher up there. Just not going to a expensive college isn't alaays good option for people. Just about all of them are expensive and if they aren't they probably aren't very good (not that they can't be).
@@agereartist3763 yes i live in America. And that's exactly how it works. The less expensive a college u attend, the less financial burden you have to carry. I worked through college, and graduated with a masters with absolutely no student loan debt. I attended a community College for my first couple years, transfered to a different school for the remainder. And now I have a successful business, 0 debt, and a degree from a very good university. Just because you have been told it's impossible doesn't make it so.
Secondly, there are more expensive schools yes, but that doesn't make them better. The knowledge is all the same, and a graduate from yale is no better educated than a state college graduate. Thats just marketing and brand. Same reason we are convinced NIkes are better than sketchers.
Third, job are not hard to find. Just get a real degree, and not. Useless one, or on that puts u in an oversaturated field.
And finally, the military is always an option. 2 years of service, and u get a the Montgomery GI bill, which includes tuition assistance, and 3 years of free college, of your choice.

Then use some bows you got from a store you went to in order to shoot the zombies from behind the wall but on a raised level... I don't know, build basic platforms? I know, I'm thinking too much. Point is? You can do both. Fight zombies, yes. But get yourself set up for the long haul. Recruit other uninfected people, help Humanity survive... While killing zombies. It's a win win.

With the water, if anyone's wondering, you can get decent quality water by finding a stream. Where the water's running and clear, you can drink that and it should be alright, though in a zombie situation checking up-river would be a good idea.
Be safer to use boiled rain water or depending on where you live humidity collected with tarpaulin
Or the high tech approach have a wind generator and use electricity to reverse osmosis seawater.
Or boiling water under tilted glass to condensed into a water collector.
I know a LOT of people who got Giardia that way. Gotta filter it(better than boiling); even in the Sonoran desert.
Or just use the fauct.. Gotta be some smart ass zombies to shut off the water within 24 hours

This is my big sister and me if this happened! My big sister would be like, "no, not gonna do it. There's no point to continuing life in a zombie filled world. Even if we win, the world will go back to bullshit. It ain't worth it." That's pretty much her stand on it is. At first I argued with her. But then I remembered all the videos and shows of the zombie apocalypse that the evil humans are worse than the zombies. That massive creepy people can force themselves on innocent people and do horrible things to them despite the zombies everywhere! And yeah, the world would go back to all the stupid taxes and money ruling over everything. So yeah, I got convinced that it's not worth it surviving a zombie apocalypse. I'd probably fight until my family is gone. When my family had passed away, there be no reason for me to continue on in a zombie filled world.

That has always been the most unbelievable part about zombie apocalypses though. 99.9 percent of people stick and work together, even with random strangers, when in an actual life-or-death situation.
Still, there's no coming back from a Zombie apocalypse, so gimme a gun to shoot myself, i'm out.
Only if it ever came to that of course, not suicidal currently, but in a Zombie apocalypse, i definitely would be, real fast.
Here's the thingamajig. If you look at actual, real world catastrophes where everything around your person has gone to shit, you generally don't see a large amount of dangerous people except for enemy troops in case of war, but then again, that's kinda why they're here in the first place. A decent enough chunk of civilization has shown its capability to self-govern, and if we managed to form society once, why not twice WITH TECHNOLOGY ON OUR SIDE this time.
Also, you seriously gonna let some societal ills stop you from surviving ? The world is flawed, society is flawed, bummer. Dying will not change that, so why not survive ? Why let yourself be snuffed out by the dark when you can instead burn even brighter in response ?
@@jeanremi8384 I’m sure there’s a lot of good people that would do good for the zombie world. But honestly I’m not a strong fighter unless my family is in danger. Then I go into protective mode. I’m also an introvert so if I lost my family I don’t know what I would do.

this is actually a good prequel skit to the "dying light" zombies skits. The reason being is that, in those skits, the zombie notices that the players are literally just doing random shit to kill zombies. Theyre literally not doing anything else but finding different ways to kill zombies...
