The best game from from software. When the combat clicks u become the master
It's what i bought last winter sale. 11/10 recommend i can still hear the clangs. Love me my Shura skin
Just finished the game last week, after 4 year and yeah the game is still worth to play
Savage!
It will still worth it even after 20 years.... It's a classic and a masterclass of how a videogame should be designed
I just picked it up Friday. Beat Gengiroh on Sunday. He ate my ass.
This game is 100% worth it
Agreed!
@@MoldyDoughnut. can you recommend it for casual players?
yes, yes it is worth your time. be warned, it is hard as nails, and of the soulsborne games, it is the hardest.
for me it's the easiest of the soulsborne games
Yee id def argue the easiest
@@YoulookIncredible why do you say that?
@@Eldenpro469 people all have their own experiences with sb games. The problem w saying “easiest or hardest” is for souls games it’s all based on previous experience. If you’ve played every other souls game and then play sekiro, yes it will be the easiest. Yet if you say only play elden ring (like i did) and then play sekiro next, it is definitely the hardest imo.
Not a soulsborne game or a souls like at all.
Sekiro is super fun. There's really nothing bad about this game. However, don't simply pick up this game just because people tell you it is great. If you don't like other FS games, you probably won't like this game. When people talk about difficulty of this game, it is no joke. It's really hard, very very hard. When compared with recent games, it is at least the difficulty of Lies of P, if not harder.
Lies of p is a good comparison but can be put in easy mode with parrying
Idk i hate dark souls because the combat is so boring and theres not really a storyline to make the game interesting but sekiro is the opposite.
My favorite Fromsoft masterpiece!! 6 playthroughs so far, well, I'm ON my 6th...but yeah, the better YOU get, the better the GAME gets!!🤘🎯🤘
I loved it when I played through it a few years ago, and I started playing it again recently. I still haven’t found anything that feels as good as this, although Lies of P comes close…
I only played the beginning of lies of p couldn’t get into it
Im finishing off lies of P atm and absolutely love it. Looking at sekiro to take over once i finish.
Is Lies of P a "sekiro" clone?
@@gamble777888 Not really, although they have a similar parry mechanic which is why they often get compared. LoP is generally a bit slower with deeper RPG elements, so more like the original Souls games I guess, but I’m no expert 😅. I also found LoP to be a bit more linear (which I don’t have a problem with).
Its a very nice Game im happy i bought it. Costs me much Patience but also boosts my resilience
The hardest game I ever played. But the satisfaction of beating this game is beyond validation! I personally feel like I'm amongst the Elite gamers. Because I know for a fact everybody ain't beat this game, or better yet, can't beat this game. I personally feel accomplished and confident. Best wishes to anybody playing this beautiful video game in their journey. Don't quit!
I just got it a week ago, trying to see if I can finish it before the Elden Ring DLC arrives. Yes, it’s definitely worth it. It’s a blast. It’s difficult, but I don’t think it’s impossibly hard.
Just finished it!
@@darrenklein6090 can casual players enjoy this??
@@DavidFB24 Hm I'm not sure. Did you play Elden Ring or any other From games at all?
@@darrenklein6090 havent been able to finish elden ring lol
@@DavidFB24Sekiro is far more difficult than Elden Ring.
I’m insanely in love with the game. Just played through it again a few days ago after 100-percenting it a few months ago
I have three little tiny complains about it tho
First is the spirit emblem system. I don’t think it benefit the game a lot by being a limited resource. It being limited between each rest is totally great, but I don’t think it has to be generally a limited item
Second is the grab mechanic. You have a counter move against every other moves from the enemy, other than the grab. Thrust is mikiri, sweep is jump, and grab is running away like a little b*tch yelling and praying it doesn’t magically sucks you in.. all I’m saying is dodging a grab isn’t as satisfying as dodging other moves
Lastly is some gang fights. I’m fine with most, since you can reduce the number of enemies if you play it smart and patiently. But some feels a bit tedious and hard like the drunkard fight, especially in the second memory. It may be a little much
Other than that, the best action game I have ever played. Love it
Agreed!
The only thing about grabs is the hitboxes seem weird every now and then but for the most part dodging works fine and gives you an opening to attack from behind
goated game that was actually worthy of goty.
Agreed!
Sekiro is the definition of perfect video game.. And this game is not for everyone. If you loved to play games like double dragon 3 on nes where you have limited chances and will have to find a way to beat the bosses even the pawns you will enjoy sekiro..
Inner Father remains the best boss of any action RPG. Sekiro has also inspired so many games now, most notably Sifu. Just one gripe - the second half of the game reuses the same areas, making us visit the same places and also has reskinned minibosses. That was more like Nioh than anything (I like Nioh too though). Never have seen FromSoft do that before as their environments and enemies are always different with limited reuses.

Playing this with as little fast travel as possible after you master the combat is very fun
I keep dying to a one handed ninja😭😭😭😭
Few months ago i got elden ring. Absolutely adored it and played an uncountable amount of playthroughs with many challenges for myself. About a week or 2 back i got sekiro and have beaten it twice. Absolutely love it. Maybe even more than elden ring. It is 100% worth it to play. The combat might not click right away but unlike other fromsoft titles, in sekiro there isnt an 'easy mode' or a way out. You have to just fight them straight up.
tbh, I am pleasantly surprised.
Same man! I play this non stop
Hell yea it’s worth it , I’m almost done with my 1st playthrough
I'm at sword Saint isshin took out his first deathblow
@@cheezynozie6791 yea man great battle , I’m about to finish my 5th play though
Great game, my fav game.
My all time fav game.
God of war 4
Nioh 1,2
Wo long.
Rdr2
Eldin ring,
Dark soul 3
Can you play it on ps5 tho? Because i cannot find a physical copy of sekiro only digital should i get it? and yes i have played soulsgames before
I’m not sure tbh probably not the game came out awhile ago
It is on PS5, downloadable.
Had this game since i joined college , couldn't hack it beyond the first general back then . Got a job, started playing it during work hours and finished it yesterday after DS3(I have WFH). No bull-shit level from software game, good pace, variety in gameplay and not that many poisonous swamp or game breaking rpg mechanic.
On release I played it and honestly hated it , I was too used to dark souls combat. I hadn’t played anything for a while and started sekiro again then I fell in love, my favourite game in the series now
Love to hear it. It’s a lot different from the souls games but it’s a good different!
this game is worth it every year the whole life time
Just went on sale on PS. Gonna pick it up and play it !! after I’m done getting destroyed in Nioh 2. 👍
Go for it, I picked it up too. It's different beast from rest fromsoft's souls games🔥
I'm debating whether to get it or not, saw it on PS too. What are your thoughts so far?
@@naderelthaalabi7269 I love it soo far , 💯 recommend it , especially if your a souls fan , it’s a no brainer
I play it once a year
Nah this game is actually not that hard, the hardest thing is learning the rhythm after that you can feel allot more control over the fight although yes it very hard in the sense you will get punished for mistakes and bosses have bs damage, yes but one thing I'd did is grind a couple times for 2 extra skill points as in 5 leveled of XP to get sla couple levels of damage that really did help and balanced out my damage compared ti the busses as they still can destroy you it just evens the odds a bit better definitely not op by any means
Brilliant game
Of course it's worth it. This game will be worth it 20 years from now, it's an absolute instant classic.
Definitely getting this game
How is it ?
As you should bro
“SAAKEEEERO”
yes.
This game looks pretty fun, is it on consoles too?
Yep it’s on Xbox and ps4 and 5
Final boss gives me ptsd💀 For those wondering yes its 100% worth getting trust me it is extremely satisfying killing a boss you were stuck on for so long
I am not sure if it's worth full price, cause of how hard it is. But it is weirdly kind of fun, despite that.
It’s the atmosphere bro. It makes you feel so badass in a twisted psychedelic world
Thats just a souls game in a nutshell 😂
Beat it after 2 weeks
Hands down. One of the greates games ever made. One of the greatest games I've ever played.
Sakiro
I’m playing this game currently on my first play through .
Very fun , Challenging.
However . The game has one fairly big flaw .
It gives zero hints on how to do certain things .
When it comes to unlocking certain areas i have had too look so much online it’s unreal .
It gives you very little direction and that is very annoying . Having said that it’s a great game still .
100% agree with that!
I hate to break it to you but "Zero hints" means you just aren't paying attention to the cutscenes. I will say things like killing the snake or the requirements for the purification ending get a little ridiculous, but in terms of just main story progression Kuro tells you EXACTLY where to go every time you talk to him
Sackyro….
What? Are games nul & void now after a few yrs? Of course it's still worth playing. It's not your iPhone or your trendy footwear. You really dont have to replace those every yr either.
So great but could never beat it lmao
I got stuck at the last boss😂
It's worth it if you have the patience... 😅
Very true😂
Absolutely yes. A timeless masterpiece in every sense of the word.
Is this even a question?
Great review but you butchering that name 😭😭😭
Haha I’ll be better;)
Ruined soulsborne for me, can't go back and don't care to
No, it isn't.
it was never worth it, what a boring game
It’s not for everyone
bought it yesterday
I dont like demon soul game and its really boring
Should i buy sekiro after this
Nope it’s even harder
