- A suspect is in custody following a police chase along westbound Interstate 10 in Phoenix.
Authorities have confirmed the suspect is a wanted fugitive out of Utah.
Westbound I-10 is closed at Verrado Way due to the police situation.

i counted 32 vehicles after this one car. madness.
In the first 5 minutes, there may have been innocent drivers around. Also, to do an effective pit maneuver, the suspect has to be going around 35 mph, otherwise the car could roll if it was going any faster. It isn't the intent of the police to hurt anyone.

I'm glad you americans can afford to pay what this costs in taxes.... yet.... none of you bother to challange 30+ police cars and officers (2 per car typically) and all the other "specialists" (😂) involved at the end to "pull down" an elderly man (clearly seen many times by helicopter) in his disability car.......... its beyond laughable..... and the funniest is,,,,, this proberly was billed beyond 200,000$ for his capture....
Here in the uk, 3 cars max, possibley 5 to 6 officers, bill around £500 or less..... no problem.
US marahal doesn’t chase you for a parking ticket or a parole violation..

Well said.... keep adding, you got "specialist officers" (😂) the sandy coloured tank, (which was actually the donut van in disguise, and in camera this time) all the specialists involved at headquarters, each officers time (2 per car typically) billed by the hour, all the fuel, the statements that need to be written out, all the court time involved in sentencing..... the department for the prosecutions time, the video footage that needs to be edited for the judges by police "specialists" (😂)......
For this job of catching an elderly gentleman in his disability car.... 200,000$ minimum.... and YOU, yes YOU have to pay it in your taxes....
