Mr. Marcelino, thank you for the review of the Coach briefcase. I understand you do not like the modern style, but I believe a lot of other people do. With much respect, I suggest you should consider designing your take on a modern briefcase. Your briefcases are topnotch, cream of the crop in terms of quality. Why not expand the style offerings? I would love to see a slim, modern briefcase you could plop down like a statue, as you put. On your comments regarding plastic feet or plastic hardware, as I understand it, there is some concern, if these are metal, for the feet scratching a wooden floor or scratching aluminum laptop.
I have the olive colored Coach metropolitan briefcase... But seeing yours beside it makes me want to cry lol! I now want one of yours! Order coming soon!
@@NizamAttar Hello sir! Thanks for reaching out! I absolutely will do so! I think that you have awesome products that will stand the test of time and last a lifetime. I do plan to purchase one of your items as my signature piece and do an in depth review as well💯😎🙏🏾
it is a good thing that I am not in New York, because I could in fact kill for one of your briefcase. I did not get anything about your review because I was looking at your briefcase with blue turguoise lining, " in owe" my friend. You are a real artisan man, hopp you know that,!
6:24 Not sure which version you got, but my metropolitan slim brief (55565) has metal feet, D-rings, snaps, absolutely nothing plastic (the D-rings on yours sound metal when you tap them on your video). About the strap: the nylon feels really good compared to the leather strap of my LV brief. And it's not a cheap nylon either; it's got the right amount of heft to it.
Got a few quality zip-top briefcases myself and I gotta say the Coach Metropolitan slim looks to be built decently. Granted the lining is cheap and the interior zipper is plastic. But the outside stiching, zippers and general build quality seem to be okey, maybe not as good as what im used to but definitely nothing to fall apart as easily as the video may make it sound like.
yo im not into your style, but i respect your opinion and craft. *i wish* you could provide a few recommendations of briefcases / bags that you think are high quality for the money ... even if i were into the classic briefcase style, i wouldn't spend $2k on a bag
Sorry but didn’t like this video I wanted to hear about the Coach mens briefcase and he kept talking about why his was better tbh he focused on his and not on the coach product in my case I didn’t log on here to hear about his product I clicked to view about the coach review
I like the design of this style of bag. I think it is just not the same category as the flap-over that you showed. I think something like this is merging the gap between messenger bags and formal briefcases. This particular one has some problems: There should be no plastic at all, it should stand up better, and it should have some sort of nice lining. But overall, it is not terrible, not something I would buy, but I would not judge a man for buying one. If I had a job where I had to wear a suit everyday and everything was super formal, I may want something a little classier than this, but in a casual office environment (which is much more common on the West Coast), this would be perfect. Suit = Not a formal enough style of bag. Chinos and a polo shirt = Perfect style of bag. Jeans and T-shirt = This style is too formal.
Mr. Marcellino your flap over bag in this video is truly beautiful. Elegant design, perfectly functional as well as timeless, and the materials! Home run! Can you please describe in better detail what type of lock that is on your briefcase. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a lock like that.
These custom locks are very well-made in Italy. They are rare, but you will find them on high-end leather products. It is fundamentally a combination lock to resemble a clock.
Pretty much just putting down Coach messenger bag and making his brief case sound like it's gold. No one uses those box like bags anymore.... Carry your box like bag and then carry the Coach... The coach soft leather feel like your hugging quility... Yours is like hugging a box... Hard, awkward, annoying.
@@parkerhowell646 no he's right. Just take a look at the majority of briefcases being produced now. I agree with what someone else said and think he should try to get into the modern briefcase game. With his knowledge and quality he'd make good money!!
@@tystake557 the people that can afford the custom hand made cases like the one he's producing are RICH. They're successful lawyers, doctors, businessmen etc. They'll have 5-15k suits and a modern coach bag will never look upmarket enough to be pulled off. The people that buy a coach bag is not looking for quality, its not there, they're looking for an ok bag at a price they can afford.
@@parkerhowell646 That's not entirely true. While I won't reveal my yearly income, I make pretty good money and I have alot of Coach pieces. In fact, I choose my Coach briefcases over my Prada and Ghurka ones as they are very durable (glovetanned leather!!), they feel better and garner more compliments. Bottom line: its great quality (arguably better) and its only a fraction of the costs that I paid for the other briefcases. Now....it's important to mention that I'm referring to Coach's RETAIL products. For instance, their retail1941 Collection is stellar!!! Now their outlet collection, that's a different story. Though the quality is not that far off, IMO.
Ferragamo is completely and utterly not worth their price point. If you’re looking for a name to show off go ahead but you can get way better quality elsewhere.
I would reconsider Coach over Ferragamo. While both are name brand fashion icons, one is pretty much all name whereas the other is hands-down one of the best bang-for-your-buck quality leather you can buy!
If you're gonna review the bag, review the bag! Stop trying to introduce yours and throw a subtle plug in there. The Coach bag is well made with a "modern style" and is what most young business men prefer. Generally not the Mad Men style your company style produces from the 50's lol. No thanks
I review this bag as a "Maker" not a "user" so i compare it to what "i make" if you can't see the value in that go watch a review that only mentions the product that was secretly paid for by the brand. wake up. btw know what you speak before you speak that bag is NOT "well made" you have no clue
@@Jpmarcellino I have several Coach products and they are well made. Spannig across the product line. They have held up for several years and continue to do so! I have the Metro Commuter, double zip in black that I purchased in 2016. From what I understand it's a revival of the classic briefs in the 1980s. The style is classic. I appreciate the hand made bags, but they are not very relaxed.
Thank you I was about to point out the same. They’re actually based off of British military bags that were being used as early as 1917 so I don’t see where he gets “modern”...
Because it isn’t a briefcase. It isn’t labeled as such by Coach either. It’s labeled a “Brief” specifically because it’s a Bag and not a Case. This review is Literally apples to oranges.
@@LaDivinaLover Is there really a difference between “brief” and “briefcase”? Essentially, they’re all the same shape (square or rectangular), slim, with either flap, zip or hinge closure. They serve the same purpose.
Sorry, but the design of your bag isn't good at all, aesthetically speaking, compared to the Coach Metropolitan Slim. You are comparing apples to oranges. They are very different in a lot of ways. Come on, man!

You obviously don't know what you're talking about. If you think the Coach is more aesthetically appealing, then you must think a Daniel Wellington is better looking than an SKX.
@@martin4374 I wear a SKX and I don't like this dudes bag style at all 😂. I get the craftsmenship and all but I'd get the coach bag any day. He says it's classic, I think it's outdated. As the Coach bag will be in 20 years. Peace
@@martin4374 your comparison are wrong.. Yes Daniel Wellington is a bad watch comparing to SKX. BUT, in terms of design (aesthetically as u said),. it is a classic dresswatch (slim, minimalistic) its just like his classic briefcase (im not talking about movement, heritage or whatsoever, juts for the look). meanwhile SKX is a diver watch. you cant compare it to SKX as it has different type of watch.
He’s probably the personal bag maker for all the mob bosses.
That Coach bag will easily last well over 15 years, just keep the Zipper maintained and the leather conditioned.
