My darling mum was very ill, then she rallied and seemed better, brighter, sitting up she thanked her visitors each one, holding their hands and told them she wouldn't see them again, also how much she appreciated their visits to see her in ICU. I was surprised as she never spoke like this, and seemed well again. "My grandparents were here" she told me. I dismissed what she was trying to tell me which I will always regret. We went home and while we had gone, my darling passed.

Frank asked only for his wife Barbara when he was dying in the hospital at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, when he passed on May 14th 1998. The doctor asked Frank if he wanted his kids to come to the hospital he said No. Frank only wanted Barbara there. Nancy his daughter never liked Barbara, and made it known, and held it against her that Barbara didn’t call her when her father was passing. But that’s not what Frank wanted. Frank left his wife Barbara $3.5 million in assets, along with mansions in Beverly Hills, Malibu, and Palm Springs. She also inherited the rights to Sinatra's Trilogy recordings, most of his material possessions and control over his name and likeness. Barbara continued to be very close with Frank Sinatra Jr. But Franks daughters Nancy and Tina where just not very nice to her. Nancy died in 2017, with an estimated worth of $200 million dollars. Barbara, was married to Zeppo Marx before she married Frank, and left everything to her son, Robert Marx, a lawyer.

I actually met Frank Sinatra at the Sands Casino and Hotel in Atlantic City. I was sitting in the VIP room and in walks Frank Sinatra and his wife and friends. He sits 5 feet away from me and my friend. Said our hellos and he had a waitress that would get him a fresh drink whenever it got low. He gave her a $100 tip. I also shook Joe Namath's hand when my brother introduced me to him getting out of his limousine and going to the Diamond Club at Shea Stadium 🏟️ while walking with a cane or something when his leg was broken. My brother used to hang out in the locker room during the Jets practice and even ate dinner at Emerson Boozer's house and I believe Matt Snell too.
