Miss the old state of ascension, back when HR in the world was run and interactive. Now it just seems it’s just pvp and there is always only 2-3 OP builds everyone plays. I wish we had Felforged as it encouraged HR and it was pure fun even when you died, they had affix’s that you could level with, for bigger reward. Just seems very stale

I am hoping for some advice, you seem to have really streamlined builds and I end up with at least 215 extra crap abilities. Suggestions on dedicating a build toward a specific idea without the extra junk? IGN Otep
You are "bricked" for energy because of the boss curse "Curses nearby enemies, increasing the costs of their spells and abilities by 100% for 5 min. This cost increase applies to all spells and abilities, whether they cost mana, rage, or energy." The only way you are surviving dumping carelessly is that the regen (the crit spikes and so forth) is so high for you and the healers, when normally it would be a very conservative fight.
i recently started playing again and dropped darkmaster in my first mythic. i tried making it work and only found out at 60 that darkmaster and felguard dont synergize because felguard is not an "enslaved demon". its my friendly demon that works for me on its own volition apparently! frustrating moment. o well - Govegan

yea dark ranger still needs a damage decrease in level 30 BG bracket i was second place damage with locust ranger at 11k but first place dark ranger was 40k damage with 22 kills. that much of a difference with that many kills should not happen that early.
One thing I dislike about this type of enchant is you lose 1 enchant for your offhand for no “real” benefit. I would like the main hand to be able to have 2 enchants.
Another thematic option you could have gone for for aoe aggro is Hellscream since it would allow for an aoe blead while letting you use any combo points on Panache for aoe upfront damage. Scream Yaaaaarrr so loud their ears bleed. The 20% agi as parry is probably at a balanced point. If they made the scaling higher raw agi would be too strong on the build considering it already boosts your dodge as well. The fact the armor bonuses are non-gear type reliant means you can go for a mix of raw agi/stam gear with dodge and defense meant for bears and plate gear that has pure stam, defense, and dodge/parry with no str and not have any wasted stat budget, it's not a common type of plate to see but it exists. - Xenthalus
Swasbuckling attack speed with aoe windfury and thunderclap? Would that work? I kinda don't want thunderclap since it does not feel as thematic as bleeds or windfury but the aoe windfury enchant has thunderclap synergy added. Ascension website builder enchant texts do not work for me so can't remember the names of the enchants.

Wouldn't natural disaster RE + deadly or instant venom result in WAY better aggro building? Combined with the nature damage you deal with the epic RE you just showed that hits in a cone?

Finally a good way to use the swashbuckling, I like this RE and I hope that there will be more similar REs in the game (as long as it is quite a problem to get those items agi + stam + parry) I just tried the demon tank (and there is also a problem with int + stam + dodge leather?) but otherwise it's not bad at all except that it eats up mana extremely quickly. - Wiliemdemon :D (if I win, give it to someone else, but twice :D )

I have been playing Swashbuckler and Thunder Bear a lot after they released and both are really fun. Swashbuckler was an absolute pain to get since I was farming the map fragments for HOURS. The early experience was pretty painful but once I got some good skills and took some energy regen talents/enchants energy became a lot less limiting and I was able to build those 5 combo point abilities quickly and easily. Ended up having Recuperate, which was really interesting as it boosts my energy regen further to the point where I can spam sinister strikes without running out of energy. Add in a few weakauras to manage uptime of Blur and Recup and Swashbuckler Captain performs extremely well.
Yea, go for steward of eternity. It sounded the most underwhelming when they "teased" the new healer REs, but now that I got to play them all, steward is the one I have the most fun with.
love the new archetypes ascension is putting out, i really hope a lot of the old ones get revamped since they have rad themes too, frozen chaos becoming a lich archetype would be fun imo

31:26 Taunting off other tanks with better threat just ends up bottlenecking the threat gain, and besides, is seen as rude by other tanks.

Level 70 will have parry tank gear but also some of the 2.5/3 tier gear should have more parry if I remember correctly.
