Been subscribed to you for some time but getting no notifications which sucks cause I dig your style a lot. Re-hit the bell in the hopes it resets somehow.
Thank you so much for the love! I’m glad you enjoy them. Only thing I can figure is maybe YT turned off notifications for my channel since I hadn’t been active in a while? Hopefully that fixes it though. Really appreciate you listening!
Hi, i appreciate this kind of content and I really hope you’ll see this message and help me with a piece of advise. I want to know from your experience with these 2 devices: if i plan to buy a hydtasynth keyboard or hydrasynth explorer - so, should i buy also a MPC Live ? would it make such a big difference the absence of mpc in a complete track production ? Can be a complete track made exclusively with a hydrasync keyboard or it’s better the addition of MPC Live in terms of workflow speed and samples arrangement ? (anyway, besides of sound creation posibilities of MPC, its main feature is its function of analog DAW - so, i understand that by adding MPC in a setup it’s not necesarily to use digital DAWs as ableton, cubase, FL studio). I hope you can give me a response on this subject ‘cause there is no explanation over internet about a comparision between these 2 devices or advantages of working with both instead of working only with one of these 2.
Okay, let me see if I’m understanding. First, you can’t make a whole track with just the Hydrasynth by itself. It doesn’t have any sequencer or way of recording itself. It’s just for making synth sounds. So if you already have some kind of DAW on your computer, and an audio interface then yeah. In that case you could make a track with the Hydrasynth. As far as the MPC goes, that’s really a personal choice if you need it. If you don’t have a DAW on a computer or you’re just wanting something that can work by itself, then the MPC is a great choice. It will basically do all of the main functions of a DAW. Although, as great as it is, a computer based DAW is still technically going to have more options. But I just enjoy working with the MPC. But when it’s time to record full tracks or mix something, I use Logic. But in this video for example, all of the sounds are from the MPC except the ones I’m playing live on Hydrasynth and the bass line. I hope that helps. Let me know if anything isn’t clear or you have any other questions.
Yeah, it for sure is. I ended up selling the Hydrasynth because I missed having keys. And it also sounds amazing, but I could never get the exact sounds I was looking for out of it. That’s honestly probably more down to me not taking the time to program it right.
Adding another piece to the puzzle with the Hydrasynth for this one. I might have a decent live setup figured out by the end of this.
Uh oh, you are seriously fuelling my GAS for the MPC here 😬. Great work

very nice 👌🏾
Smooth
Thank you! ✌🏼
Nice track
Thank you!
Nice vibe
Hey man, this is amazing. WHere are the drums and bass coming from? Are they plugins or samples? Really smooth. Thanks
Thank you so much! Drums are one shots I played, and the bass is plugged in and looped through the MPC.
Is this a good combo.
