I bought this last week and I love it. It's smallest, least expensive and most powerful MPC of the 3 I've owned. Now with the optional stem separation, we are off to the races
I’ve paid $615 for the original from Musicians Friend. I wished these updates happened years ago. I just cannot see spending $699 for paint job, WI-FI & more storage. Much respect to E-A-Ski!!!!!
I feel like this is for people who don't own the one....For me the mpc one I have now is good enough and I don't need to upgrade or succumb to GAS anytime soon
The plus has a slightly faster cpu too from what I’ve seen. It has a little more processing power which makes a difference, even if it’s a small difference
I've tried all of the tips to try to get mine connected but still can't. Even the comment above. Somehow you have to convert mpc 2.0to a vst and use it that way. Let me know if someone got an answer
Yeah i like the mpc one+ personnately i have the mpc one you can do what ever you whant in music, it's the same machine it just have the wifi in the mpc one doesn't have it 🔥💪🏽💯
I'm sorry but what's "next generation" about it??? It still only has 2GB or RAM and - most of all - a wimpy CPU that limits number of plugins to 8. Get your act together, Akai.
@@mont-doggBeats on Force it's half baked , only on audio tracks (which is very useful) , but noone knows why Akai never implemented disk streaming on MPCs
At one point, people were actually using a modified 808 kick for a bassline. Now the term 808 is kind of a synonym for sub bass. I know what you mean though. It's like people calling Auto Tune a vocoder
Yeah idk. 808 is literally just an old Roland drum machine or something, there’s tons of other options for sub bass and not all of it is part of the 808 kit. People just throw the term around without even knowing what it mean
Give it a battery, SSD, Speaker, and a Volume Knob on top and Im All In! I like the size of the MpC One.. Id Love to see serato stems/sample and a new moog since Akai now own Moog! Akai really has a chance to run the show! They own all the right stuff... consider an hdmi? Hook a big monitor up and go!

That’s actually pretty awesome idea - the hdmi part could be awesome part of a live show or for making clips. 🤔 as far as portable speaker I use a iloud monitor which does the job but just another thing to charge.

They're saying its got 16gb of storage like that's a lot. For something that costs nearly £700 you think they could afford 128gb like my freaking phone!
Lol 16Gb if you need more then maybe find a new hobby. I strictly use vintage gear 16 GB is more than every single piece of gear I have in the studio combined 😂

If you already have a studio why would you go DAWless just to use a DAW in a box with a tiny screen, selling you proprietary plug-ins with a marketplace for samplepackers. no actual music producers use these. MPC's are amateur kit for kids

Make the Mpc studio standalone please and thank you

It just needs disk streaming for audio , keygroups and plugins . It's a feature that exists more than 2 decades ago with "ancient" cpus and disks

I still dont get why we are calling sub bass ‘808’. Call me old school but when someone says 808, I’m thinking immediately of drums.
