Ahhhhh man thanks a million my man!! ive been pulling my hair out trying to figure this crap out...i did a tune up, fully cleaned the carbs, changed out the fuel filter, fuel relay, fuel pump, but the TPS...would of nevered guess that lol! kudos my man, kudos:)
My GSXR 1000 was doing that now I have a ZX14... I had been taking there was some s*** in the tank that got sucked into the injectors but now that you said that it's probably the same thing the TPS... It seems like electrical kind of. Bye bike will go over 4000 RPM and I have barely any throttle if I give it any more sputters out if I give it less it loops.. in the freaking desert heat today going like 10 miles an hour to my house for like 30 miles I was ready to f****** drive it off a cliff
Would this problem cause erratic idle issues at stop lights/stops? My baby is all fine and dandy until i get to a stop and then she jumps to 25k average. So much so that I have to let out on the clutch a little bit to put load on the engine to bring down the RPM.
Hi..can I kindly ask u some advice for my carburetor issues..I had a zx6r 2000 model my bike can run before only 120kph max speed but now after 1 month it's running only 100kph max speed... should I need to change my carburetor or still have a way to fix it??
Why didn't you unhook the tps first? When I troubleshoot I start with quickest solution first. Unhooking the tps was faster than the carb clean procedure. .
I have an f3 model 95? I think, i had layed around for about 4 years now it wont run at all just idles rough with the choke on. reving it kills it straight away. maybe your trick will work, but I may have to fully clean the carbs.
steviebboy69 if it idle rough , than yes the slow idle jet is blocked up! only way to solve that issue is to pull carbs out and do a full strip clean. use carb cleaner , or brake parts cleaner, or anything solvent in a compressed erosol can. whilst your in their, pull out ur spark plugs and check each one to make sure they r firing ! than Chuck a new air filter in before installing the fuel tank.
I have the same exact bike and the same problem, I was wondering if my carburetors need cleaned, cause its sputtering when I try to give it gas, but when I'm going a good amount of speed & full throttle it, it doesn't sputter really, can somebody please help me
Mine started out like that then it got to where it won't go over 4,000 RPM.. I put some injector cleaner in it and started to smooth out but now it's worse it must have foul the plugs like that one guy was saying.. I would get on it right now because mine's gotten way worse I was almost broke down today going like 10 miles an hour
just checking up on the problem you've been having with your j1, did you have to buy a new sensor? or has it been good? if it's failed how long did you get out of it before it started happening again? thank you
+jon mclain Hi. I can honestly say I've had no problems since. Just some dirt/gunk got in and around the TPS and just needed cleaning. Now working as good as new. Cheers mate.
James Taylor if it’s popping on deceleration you have to clean pilot jets as from zero throttle to quarter turn is pilot.. you are not getting enough gas which causes it to be lean
My F1 does this, if you keep running it the spark plug turns black from carbon and stops working. The jets been cleaned same as yours, driving me nuts :'(
i have a 2007 zx10r and you get this stuttering between 7-9k im sure it must be the TPS sensor, it starts and idles just fine, runs smooth at low revs around town....
This is just superb, been searching for "stuttering treatment approaches" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Rincaas Stammify Blocker - (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some interesting things about it and my friend got excellent success with it.

Thank you friend, for this video. My 1998 has such a problem

So they leave the throttle position sensor unhooked forever?

Is it really as simple as unplugging it?? I’m having this problem with the exact same bike brother same exhaust everything
Did yours backfire if you rev it up when it's in neutral?
your a life saver
Well, at least you know your carbs are clean. Tell the queen I said hello.
He’s not from uk😂😂 he’s from Australia
Do you know where the tip sensor is located? I have to check mine. My 2000 just keeps cranking but won’t turn over with new plugs and new battery

+steviebboy69
Yep. You'll have to take the carbs off and remove the jets and give them a good clean.
Let me know how you go. Cheers.
Sounds like it hey, I wonder if carb cleaner would be worth trying first?
+steviebboy69
Couldn't hurt mate. Give that a go first, and if no go, you'll probably need to remove the Carbs.
Did it work?

If my stutter is onky at certain rpms could it still be the tps?
I have the same exact bike and the same problem, I was wondering if my carburetors need cleaned, cause its sputtering when I try to give it gas, but when I'm going a good amount of speed & full throttle it, it doesn't sputter really, can somebody please help me
Same problem same bike brother
I don’t know what to do

Can you please tell what part of tps you cleaned? I was opening this sensor at i dont get what you cleaned from there? Show or tell me please
Take the carbs off it so much easier.

do you have a video of the problems you were having with it running before you fixed it, mine has a crap ton of decel pop too did that happen to you

@@mxr7586 Dear sir, you just exactly answered my issue. :) !
did you try running it with the sensor unplugged? results?
It’s happening randomly when you clutch is in and shifting
What year is it?

A fuel gauge on these would have been good.
