Jesus is God. When the Mormons told me to pray to our Heavenly father and not Jesus that's when I knew we didn't worship the same God. I was going to get baptised in their church then they done a baptism interview with me which made me change my mind. The questions the elders asked me which were related to my past made me uncomfortable. Jesus said to believe and be baptised, no where in the Bible does it say be interviewed then if you pass we might just let you be baptised. I sinned in the past as I am not perfect which I already repented for. Why was it necessary to bring up my past to shame me? It was like all my efforts to live a good life and be the person I am today did not matter. The Mormons like the devil wanted to remind me I am a sinner...But the good news is I am saved through faith in Jesus as he died on the cross for me and his blood covers my debt. Great job man, keep it up 👍

@@prayerwarrior7778 why include a man's name in prayer? You should have no other God's before you. There is only one God, he was the same yesterday as he is today & will be eternally. Jesus is God that's why I pray to him. If he was just a man then including his name in prayer would be blasphemous.

I almost got baptised by the lds but then I said I believe in jesus and the father only not Russell Nelson or Joseph Smith and they cancelled my baptismal the day before and basically stopped any communication with me, to me that shows the disrespect they have for anyone else who believes in christ

Do you really believe that God would create a riddle to try and understand who he is? I’m being sincere here. It seems this is a demonstration of some kind of word game that is meant to never have a solid answer. One God but three separate Gods but not really but absolutely the same but different except not different but the same. What’s so wrong with a faithful creation of God who sacrifices many things, even family sometimes to try and be faithful and receive Gods grace? Because a different view or concept of God is a different God. Think about it this way, without D and C 130:22 the LDS church would believe a triune view of the Godhead. Even the BOM teaches of a triune Godhead.

If jesus was the creator how does he raise himself from the dead? The father raised jesus, jesus is the son of God who will rule over earth and God rules heaven they are separate jesus is not God but he is still important I see it as jesus the redeemer and future ruler of earth, the father God is immaterial above all
Would you say Jesus lied when He said "destroy this temple(speaking of His body before the cross) and I will raise it again in 3 days"? I don't think He did as He went to the cross sinless. So if He didn't lie, then He did what He said He would.
You are correct that we also see it said that the Father raised Him from the dead, and we see that the Holy Spirit also raised Him from the dead.
This would be a contradiction unless you understand the doctrine of the trinity.
