So the video is fine for the most part, but there's an error in your video: there IS group play. Sony has an app called Party Centre and it's capable of linking up to 100 COMPATIBLE speakers together (XE200, XE300, XG300, XG500, etc etc). There's an exhaustive list somewhere else, but my point is that the XE300s here link up with OTHER speakers on the above list. I have four XE300s and I use them practically everyday.
How do you evaluate its top volume - higher or lower than similarly priced Bluetooth speakers? I have a Bose Mini and its top volume is noticeably higher than lower-end speakers. How do you think the Sony SRS-XE300 compares in the volume category? I don't think you ever mentioned that.
That's a good question, So with this model In would say top volume is better because it is an XE not an XB. XE doesn't have crazy bass and reason being is the design is supposed to be more weather and water resistant. To me this functions better as a pool or lake speaker because of that.
@EternalSilence4ever though I bought 2, I have to say it forgets alot it's on stereo pair and constantly needs resetting. Sounds good when working though. I have to reset 1 to 2 times per month as it forgets its paired as stereo
@@kimbercustompro1911 You got a lemon. That's all. Don't get why you would assume this whole line of speakers is trash based only on your extremely rare case.

Did they get rid of the strobe light? That was a nice bonus with the older models.

@@LynxRagdolls yeah, I agree that when you have to link it up, it's annoying
@@EternalSilence4ever still better than getting a soundbar for the tv, cheaper and better and portable, just buggy though
Crazy intro 💀
glad you liked it!
Garbage product. Died after two weeks. I took amazing care of it as well, didn't seem to matter. Save your money and buy a JBL instead
Literally the same with the head/earphones - SONY! jbl - trash
did you reach out to sony? should be covered in manufacture warranty. That shouldn't happen.
@@WaltsTV I have a warranty and have returned it. I will not be buying Sony again
