Nice piece. I used to do everything by machine. Getting into hand tools. With the old me, when I did the drawer, I did full depth so it would bottom out against the back of the table. I would check for square, then put it into the table to kind of double check to make sure the drawer fit square into the table.
Beautifully done and I also love the nice tight dovetails that sticks out with the two different species of wood. I really enjoyed watching your hand planing. I also do dovetails as much as I can, it is so pleasurable and fun. Keep up the good work.
