OUSTA, I have been watching you and your work for sometime now, I never get tired of it, as the matter of fact I really got into coppersmithing because of you,no way am I comparing my novice methods with you but I learned to copy every method of yours by watching you, every stroke of the hammer takes years of practice, I know that now., I soon realized how hard it is to make a perfect profile but you make it look so easy. thank you and the person behind the camera for his/her professional presentation and excellent editing.well done.
I’m a welder, fabricator and sheet metal worker. Been doing it for 21 years. This guys skill level is some of the best I’ve seen in my life. And just using simple tools. Incredible work.
As a master plumber and occasional welder , I completely agree. His skill is crazy good. I've tinkerer a bit with scrap copper . It's taught me how little I truelly understand the metal. This man is one with the copper.

I really enjoyed watching this video, as it shows the artist from start to finish, without having strange gaps in it. When he was done, I recognized the shape of the decanter as it resembles similar ones made thousands of years ago! And it was people like this that made musical instruments as well, and as a trumpet player, I am always fascinated watching people work with copper and brass to make beautiful things for people to enjoy and use!
Some viewers are saying that they appreciate the absence of "music" on this wonderful video. However, I find the rhythm of the hammers taps quite pleasing. 👍💙
What a pleasure to watch such a skilled man. Not a wasted motion, not a mistake. When I was learning blacksmithing many years ago I wish I had had such a talented and skilled master to learn from.
I love the fact that just about everything used to make this piece is also home made . Old axle shafts and re-bar & halves of outer bearing races are all on display as used for various anvils to use to make the various curves & shapes in crafting this with your hammer . This guy is truly a man of passion in his work . Kudos to you , for doing what you love & sharing it for all to see . Thanks
Every birdwatcher in India is aware of the bird called Coppersmith Barbet... slow the video down to 0.4x ( which I believe is somewhat close to real speed) and one can immediately see (hear rather!) ... why the bird is called that. I don't think the coming generations of birdwatchers will ever get to even hear this !! You made my day!
I love the copper patina, as an artist a painter art is not just art its an extention of the person. There's one thing A.I art will never have, a soul. Artist around the world keep creating , the world needs art made by hands not technology. Thats what makes being a human so special is our gifts we are blessed to think and create. God bless. Beautiful piece.❤
There's something particularly satisfying about watching a master craftsman conjure something of great beauty from simple materials. Superb workmanship.
An old masters’ lifetime of copper metal working skill and jig building - wow! This is why metal smith apprenticeships are many years long - it takes time and patience to learn and for the apprentice to learn all the skills and nuances and build his own jigs.
O Master... If my days were plenty, I would travel to where you live to learn from you the Art you practice. I am old and frail now. I have not much time left. Perhaps if God Grants me another life, as some believe He does. I shall remember your name. Bravo Maestro. Bravissimo!
1. Gold 2. Platinum 3. Silver 4. Copper I actually love copper's color. Especially when i scratch an oxidized piece of metal to see what it is, and see that glowing honey brown color.

I trained as a silversmith (then worked as a designer) many years ago. This brings all those hours spent planishing back to me 🥵. Some lovely work here. I loved the rhythm of his hammer and he ended up with a beautiful little form. I especially liked how he work hardend up the collar before folding over the lip just holding it in his hand. Very skillful 👏👏.

What a wonderful display of skill and craftsmanship! He could have had a very solid but primitive piece early on. But took the extra time to turn it in to a very elegant work of art.
