It’s like he’s wearing a blanket. I have a very similar workflow…Then I watch Ishitani and I understand how these woodworkers are both great artists with their own unique style. A Joy to watch and so inspiring.

I love the mitered insets showing on the outer facing edges. I always thought this was the proper way to "finish" edges like this, especially if they have any rounding or surface detains that need to meet nicely at the corners.
Love your work, such a great piece of art. The use of hand tools with such precision is something to strive for
