Process efficiency and skillfulness are amazing. There is a lot to learn from videos like these. Here in India, constructions of individual houses are (also) mostly done using brick, mortar, steel and concrete. The process takes several months, uses too much manual labor, and process efficiency is not given the required consideration, resulting in escalated costs and unnecessary hardship for the workers, though the process seems to have improved quite a bit in recent years (use of earth-moving equipments instead of manual labor to dig for the foundation, use of semi-automated rigs for moving bricks and other construction material to the upper floors, etc). Also, the motivation for using more automation is lacking given the abundance of manual labour (and also perhaps societal considerations that prefer employing manual labor in place of automation because it provides jobs to many).

Yeah, we slam together crappy mobile homes and call it good. We've lost all pride of craftmanship in this country. Now we are a third-world country that everybody looks down on. That sure didn't take long.
Most of the "Carpentry" occurred offsite, this was a wonderful display of assembling a kit home, these guys have done this a few times, amazing how fast a house goes up when it is all prepped. Very little waste or cleanup is needed. The true craftsmanship and artistry are in the plaster/stucco work and some beautiful trowel ing too.

After studying Japanese building for years, I was really thrilled to be able to study Korean post and beam construction. Really unique! This video taught me a lot.
I can imagine that it is very difficult to find the talent that understands this level of detail in another country or culture. You can design anything, however if the workmen have no experience or the appropriate tools, it ain't gonna work. Yeah, it is a modular type construction but it is far away from Ikea stuff :). That type of korean tradional home is also quite expensive even in Korea. Rich people do have it for sure.
It’s so beautiful. I hope at least it’s expensive because of the thick wood, the solid materials, the exquisite quality and craftsmanship. Here in the US the rich live in fancy cardboard boxes, all particle board and chicken wire. Gets wet once and ruined. And people like such things and pay hundreds of thousands for them. This is like a temple.
So do I. They built roofing support layer by layer. Even added burnt rice husk to absorb the dampness on the roof. I think their roof material construction system is the best. I would shelter under the traditonal Korean house from heavy rain. No one will get wet from roof leaking. Wow!
wow. amazing quick process with the pre cut wood. it seems alot more process that in the states, but still quick, and easy after you learn the how it goes. nice job. the house looks great.
Beautiful work and stunning results! Just two questions...what was the mulch-looking stuff put into the roof before the top tiles were put into place, and were the main vertical peices of the frame ever connected to the cement foundation? It looked like the whole house is just resting on the slab..
Charred rice husks. I guess very lightweight with good insulation values. Great use of a readily available raw material that would otherwise go to waste. Pretty sure the house framing “floats” and isn’t anchored.
In the event of an earthquake the house will not crumble but dances...(?)...what is the material they use for the wall panels before cementing/mudding i noticed they use sliced bamboo to hold whatever in the panels (good idea). How do they achored the wall to the main beam (nails??).

If you build a house out of wood, you have to mention China
You still have not seen the Japanese build houses like that. It is exemplary.
peace courage 😉
Ridiculously good. I wish Americans built more things like this.
Yeah, we slam together crappy mobile homes and call it good. We've lost all pride of craftmanship in this country. Now we are a third-world country that everybody looks down on. That sure didn't take long.
@@Firedog-ny3cq You’re absolutely correct
Most of the "Carpentry" occurred offsite, this was a wonderful display of assembling a kit home, these guys have done this a few times, amazing how fast a house goes up when it is all prepped. Very little waste or cleanup is needed. The true craftsmanship and artistry are in the plaster/stucco work and some beautiful trowel ing too.
This house was built in a shop just like our timber frame homes
You are right , all the carpentry materials fit perfect in a large shipping container
Jamaica, and America build like this? This video made me cry. I'm just in complete awe of how quick they're building this home. You can even see that it's built sturdy, and it looks amazing. I'm just in shock of amazement.
American homes are not built like this. Plastic and thin wood with tarpaper roofs. Not even all states require insulation. This house is ten times more stable and well built than American homes.
@@sorbenjamin7695 Exactly
It's ok but no illustrations of all the materials used. What's make s the walls panels? Can someone educate me pliz
Wspaniały dom , wspaniałew wykonanie i wspaniali koreańscy fachowcy ! Pozdrowienia z Polski .

This is art in its purest form! Absolutely beautiful!!!
This is unreal. What beautiful and masterful techniques.
A beautiful house built by skilled craftsmen, a joy to watch.

So much better than a standard American home. Love the framing.
The homes in the US seem to be designed to blow away during a thunderstorm.
Exactly, in the United States not having many mountains causes tornadoes, in these Asian countries nature has been more preserved and they don't have that problem, personally I like Asian houses better
@@gabelomong9415clearly you know nothing about the US, we don't have mountains?????
@@jamesvuk9761 He did state "not having many mountains" to be fair but I think he was comparing to Asia overall as far as mountain-to-land area, proportionally. It makes sense in that case.
@@jamesvuk9761 Yes, of course, I know more than you, the mountains they have were stolen from the Mexicans and the Indians, only that most of where they live is flat, and there is the detail that they suffer from tornadoes and other climatic factors, but what do I know more about? that you do know, even things that you can not imagine about us jjjjjjjjjjjjjj
With all that insulation, this house is going to be one super cozy home for someone.Thumbs up!
Isso não é uma edificação. É uma obra de fina arte. SENSACIONAL.

Verdade! Bom gosto e estilosa.
I was a builder for 30 years; this process is absolutely extraordinary...thx for sharing.
What a beautiful building! Congratulations to every worker. Greetings from the Argentinian Patagonia.

Truly amazing, neat design, extraordinary concept, and all professional workers, in our country Indonesia🇮🇩 there has not been such a good process yet.

Can they build this in Australia? Really lovely home
That’s what I was thinking! I think it’d be much cheaper
I think it’s possible if you have the design and send it over to Korea to have the framing built and shipped back to Australia
Double the wage,maybe they will
Australia and NZ has one of the worlds worst house designs. And they cost like they are made of gold. Poor quality carpenting , poor insulation, poor structural strength.
Wonder where I can but the design plans
This house was beautiful and perfect, one day I want to make a house like this, congratulations to the professionals who worked hard to do an excellent job
Where are you from
Beautiful!! Absolute dedication to meticulous precision to detail and aesthetics!
We should allow about 1000 of these workers to come over to the UK and build the houses we so badly need!
One thing is for sure, you will not see a single leaking roof from these guys!!

Absolutely incredible construction! It has to cost a fortune!

This is magnificent. The incorporation of new materials and techniques into traditional designs is excellent.

Simple and elegant house. Well-built !
Too often design must be down-graded to match the available tools and skills of the workforce.@@david-ow3nv

Obrigada por postar um trabalho tão lindo. Parabéns. A todos que participaram desse lindo vídeo.
I would love to work with this guys, so organised and well planned..
This is simply amazing. I wish we built houses like this in my part of Africa.
That was mesmerising! 😍 They make it look like assembling something from IKEA! I wish we had homes like this (and of this quality) in the US.
We do your just a lazy ghetto trash worshipping cuck
Yeah, it is a modular type construction but it is far away from Ikea stuff :). That type of korean tradional home is also quite expensive even in Korea. Rich people do have it for sure.
It’s so beautiful. I hope at least it’s expensive because of the thick wood, the solid materials, the exquisite quality and craftsmanship. Here in the US the rich live in fancy cardboard boxes, all particle board and chicken wire. Gets wet once and ruined. And people like such things and pay hundreds of thousands for them. This is like a temple.
You can find companies in North America that do timber frames
Well built, very well insulated. I wish I could get a house like this here in Australia
You can with enough gorillas.
So do I. They built roofing support layer by layer. Even added burnt rice husk to absorb the dampness on the roof. I think their roof material construction system is the best. I would shelter under the traditonal Korean house from heavy rain. No one will get wet from roof leaking. Wow!

They isolate the roof with rice husk charcoal??? Its because is cheaper or better than other types of insulation???
Wonderfully done. Would like to see the inside decorated and the landscape done. Beautiful.
Looks great and so meticulously assembled, Ton of wood is needed for such a build. How are the columns anchored to the cement pads?

I think 🤔 wood is so cheap 😕 in this place
When traditional and modern techniques come together. Beautiful work 👍🏼
Niesamowici ludzie , oglądam pełen podziwu dla nich
Beautiful house...great job on roof never thought that ! 👏
