Once again, an awesome build.
No fuss, no muss. This is what we're gonna do and here is how you do it !
I am learning an enormous amount from watching Ted's videos while having fun in the process.
The only thing i don't get: why is he 'evil' ? Ted seems like a friggin' nice person !
Thank you for watching and subscribing.
That looks amazing! Thanks for showing how easily this can be done. The results of every step are so satisfying. Used a similar process to make a God-Killer sword for a coworker's Wonder Woman cosplay. Very happy with the results.
I’m glad you liked it. Thank you for watching.
Welcome back Ted!! This build looks incredible!
Glad you like it!
Looks fantastic!
Thank you.
I hope you had fun at the convention
So good man ! Thank you for the techniques !
Thank you for watching and subscribing.
Oh great Emperor of Propmaking, please tell me that you have plans for some Eldar and Dark Eldar props in the pipeline! You can't let the man-kees have ALL the fun! ^_^
I will check it out.
@@EvilTedSmith Please do! Some of the Eldar weapons are really cool looking IMHO. The WH40K universe may be so grimdark that it makes searchlights look like candle flames, but you gotta admit they have some cool looking toys!
(Of course, if you actually do some nice Eldar gear, like a Harlequin's Kiss, be prepared for the Tau and Necron players to demand some love sent their way too! And let's not even speak of the forces of Chaos! ^_^)
The master is back with an awesome build!
Thank you...more to come.
I seen this dagger I touched it .
And it's beautiful
Thank you for coming by.
1: Wait you can use Windex to dilute paint instead of fancy airbrush reducer‽
2: After painting ,like, a bazilian things, I found it better to have the base coat a very similar color to the metallic, like if I wanted metallic turquoise I'd paint a flat turquoise underneath, or for a metallic silver, I'd paint a white or gray underneath.
YEAH! Window cleaner! I felt the same when I found out! I told PlaidFX you should put that on the jar of paint!
@@EvilTedSmith I have one of them super flying airbrushes so I was worried because the reducers so expensive and I was told regular water doesn't work right
Cool
Cool builds but i wonder can you do something like a stiletto or smaller dagger, I’m trying to come up with something for my daughter for a renfair in a few months
You can do it. Make your own pattern, and use the same techniques i did on this build.
@@EvilTedSmith I’ll give it a try. Thanks for all your videos. I had never though if foam props as a hobby till I saw one of your videos
You should have live-streamed it
Do they not make ANY protective topcoat for their paints? Everyone uses this expensive flex paint but then top coats it with much less flexible clear coats to "protect" the paint job.
Not use the topcoat, because it’s not needed. PlaidFX paint is very durable and flexible and sticks really well. Ever since I finish the knife it still holds up today.
Ah! ♥♥♥
This is my comment to appease the great algorithm
I think I've fallen behind on your videos! I have some catching up to do. When did you switch from Kwik Seal to Gap Filla and how do they compare in your experience? Gap Filla is significantly more expensive where I am (in Canada).
Hello David. It came out just recently and I love it. You can also get in at www.redmooncosplaysolutions.com/store.html
They are in Canada.
What air brush kit do you recommend for a beginer? Whats are the spec to look for?
I have the airbrush I use linked under video. I really like the Paasche single action Airbrush.
wats this rapid fill iv never seen that b4 ? dose it smooth out the foam ?
Yes, it dose!
Ted…WHAT DID YOU DO TO YOUR BEARD!?
Sorry man, I had to trim it. It was driving me crazy.
Can you make the Nano suit from Crysis series?
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🏆🏆🏆
Been a while since your last upload
I know and I'm working on it. Having issues with my editing computer. My next video should be just under 2 weeks.
