What if Mexico and the South made Dinner. Mexican Chicken FRIED STEAK

  • This Southwest Country Fried Steak is inspired by our recent trip to Sedona, Arizona where we had a similar version of country fried steak served with a ranchero sauce and pico de gallo... so I decided to do my own twist!
Like a Mexican country fried steak (or chicken fried steak) that's perfect for breakfast, topped with an over easy egg and served with chorizo hash browns!
I'll show you how to make an easy country fried steak on the griddle - whether you top it with the homemade ranchero sauce or a creamy gravy, it'll be fantastic either way! Enjoy!

After years I finally figured out why my pico de gallo was different than the pico de gallo I ate in Mexico or/authentic Mexican restaurants here in the US. After you cut the top off the tomato you discard the pulp on the inside with the seeds, then You, Julian, the tomatoes, and then dice. I found a mellon baller works perfect for Roma tomatoes.

Have not been exposed to many Mexican dishes or recipes, though I was stationed in AZ for 18 months. We try them bc of your recipes so look forward to this when it is up on the web.

FTK... You da' man. Thanks for another great video and inspiration. I made a very similar sauce that I used on a Chile cheese dog. It was a huge hit!
As a twist, I spread some Amish Bacon Jam on the bun for some delicious added sweetness. OMG! I created a monster.

Chicken fried steak isn't really a thing here in Australia. My husband introduced me to it, with country gravy (also not a thing here) after he went to the US, and I was absolutely hooked! What you made here looked absolutely sensational! I need to mop my keyboard of the drool.

👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼✊🏼🧐, Now that looks absolutely frickin 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 My guy!! I do love me a good Country Fried Steak, and the MADD Scientists version with the chorizo-hash is damm tempting. lol, we do cut up cubed chorizo/potatoes with egg. But this might be my next go to. I also fancy the crispy with some over medium eggs… don’t threaten me with a good time! Can’t wait for part Duex, the dinner version with that salsa 🫡…Cheers Y’all 👊🏼😎🤙🏼

That looked really good, I like to take a chicken fried steak topped with grilled Pico (takes on a whole new flavor griddled), then queso and jalapeños on top.
