You should check out their song On Impulse from their 1st album, not a song many people talk about but its an important listen i think. Also Isolated Incidents of their 2nd album is amazing. Enjoyed the reaction I always love seeing people recognize this bands skill
Yes finally someone else mentions those 2! I've been commenting that On Impulse and Point to Point should be reacted to for I don't even know how long lol. Isolated Incidents is another fantastic track for sure (especially Matt's double bass work), along with An Infinite Regression, Somnarium, Do Not Go Gently and Cylindrical Sea :D
Ine of my favorite bands. Matt garstka, their drummer is one of the best in my opinion. Both guitarists are incredible as well. Although tosin abasi seems to be the fan favorite, for good reason. Check out a drum cam! Maybe ectogenesis.
Someone suggested a Rick Beato video with A Tosin interview. He is an amazing musician but it takes more than one to make a super group like this. All three are amazing.
The other guitarist, Javier, has his own solo project called Mestis. Their songs El Mestizo and Azur are phenomenal. Edit: Azul, not Azur. Also their song Media Noche is not only another excellent choice in song, but is also an excellent choice at my local Cuban sandwich shop
Micro aggressions is a really cool song by them also. It has alot of selective guitar picking in it. These guys have been very innovative over the years. Definetly one of a kind.
I just came across your channel because of your Jinjer review. I know you may not see this because of this being an old video. Animals as Leaders is one of my top 3 instrumental bands, amazing style and talent. Two more instrumental bands you should check out...Angel Vivaldi, his playthroughs are a must as well as his actual music videos. Yes, he does his last name justice and then some with his talent. Also, check out Girih. I recently discovered them and they are amazing as well. Very talented and unique sound.
I loved watching you become such a fan so quickly. Instrumental songs and bands have become so popular. A well orchestrated instrumental is a song “The Dreaded Mystic Abyss” by Shadow of Intent. Its a blend of metal and classical music. Please try it out, even if not in a reaction.
@@bobcieslinski My pleasure. It was so nice getting to see such an good, in depth reaction. You have that passion to hear good music you didn't know exist. I hope we can put some good things to your ears. Keep up the good work sir.
Now that you’ve dipped your toe, it’s time to dive head first into Animals As Leaders. They are just jaw-dropping. Matt Garstka, the drummer, has some playthrough vids on RUclips that will blow your mind. *edited to fix name spelling
How come you havent made any other AAL reactions!? "The Price of Everything and The Value of Nothing" "CAFO" "The Woven Web" "Another Year" "Wave of Babies" "Physical Education" "Micro-Aggressions" Take your pick, youre missing out
Thanks for the list Jonathan! I made the first one for a music teacher friend I worked with. He made the suggestion when I first started. I haven’t had anymore suggestions since then. I’ll add these to the list.
@@bobcieslinski I would put Tosin, Javier and Matt on the same level as Tim, Scott and the Clay's from Polyphia. Hands down great musicians; spearheading and groundbreaking for guitar playing .
