    Very invigorating. I'm 69 years old and have to exercise on a regular basis to keep my back fit. I've had scoliosis my entire life and just realized the benefits of yoga for my back. I love this video.

    This simple yoga routine always saves my back from pain. I also have a mild scoliosis and whenever it starts to get uncomfortable I would at all times come back and do this gentle stretch. Its a lifesaver! Thank you Sarah

      @@nicoletafrosinean1763 Yes it can they have corrected therapy I found a video about the place in California.I have mild scoliosis but some time it's so painful that I have trouble relaxing.My core is weak because it and am trying to strengthen it.

    I've been saving this one to watch and finally got around to it. I grew up with atlas subluxation (only got diagnosed 5 months ago) so my spine is all kinds of wacky. I've been in pain since childhood, and when I hit my mid-20's, the pain became debilitating and disabling. I'm often stuck in bed for entire days because of how it drains my body. This routine had all of my favorite poses that I try to do on my own for my spine health, and I'm so thankful to have your guidance because sometimes it's so hard for me to focus on doing it on my own. Thank you! I've been sharing these with all my spoonie friends to help them out too.

      I am seeing a chiropractor that only adjust C1-C2. The adjustments are specific to your issue. It has helped my scoliosis pain tremendously. Its called Specific Chiropratic. They are a chain. So you might have one in your area.

    Thank you. Thank you thank you thank you! I'm 23, I have a 37 degree curve in my spine and recently lost a lot of the muscle holding my spine together. Now I realize that yoga has to be a part of my life.
    Finding your videos has given me the hope, inspiration and drive to reclaim my life and my health. You are such great teacher and healer. Thank you.

    I found out today at The doctors I have scoliosis. I was recommended soft easy stretches to help strengthen. I will be trying this out for the next 2weeks.

    I still follow this in my daily routine. Thank you. Im still in recovery from 2 car accidents that left me with si joint dysfunction on both legs so everyday im tight. Not to mention the severe scoliosis. This helps people. Im able to wake my muscles up in a sense and the stiffness releases. Thank you again

    Thank you so much. I have a severe S curve scoliosis. This has helped me regain movement, lessen my pain and improve my breathing capacity in my ribs. I appreciate it so much. Daily practice with this video has made my quality of life so much better.

    I have scoliosis; my worst curve and source of pain is between my shoulders, the smaller curve is in my lower back. Because of this, I feel pain in my neck, upper to middle and lower back, and top of hips. I’ve been following this video and her posture video and other videos for lower back pain for a few days. I feel so much relief already! It’s helpful for me to do a simple one in the morning when I wake up to stretch out from sleeping in one position all night. I also do one of her longer videos sometime in the evening and this helps with any stress that was caused throughout my day. I have been living in pain from scoliosis for 6 years now. This is the first thing I’ve tried that gives me instant relief from pain. I’m looking forward to trying out more exercises and stretches and making this become a daily routine of mine. Thank you Sarah Beth! You really helped me.

I have many more issues to overcome in my life still, but this is the most important because it affects my life more than anything else.     I needed this gentle routine this morning. Back was really tight and sore. Been doing yoga for years and it helps my scoliosis back so much. I tend to overdo in the garden some days and it tells me about it later. Wish I had found you sooner, but glad I have now. Sorry to hear of the music problem.     I have no words.. Really! My scoliosis can be cruciating at times. Like, it causes strong headaches and my right arm and leg becomes hard to use with the throbbing pain in key areas. This exercises help me a lot. Unfortunately its not enough. But since I can't do more yet, I can say this is the exercise that shows most effect comparing to the effort you use. I wish I can finally start using this daily and not as a last resort :)

    When i heard that you have a scoliosis as well i think something in me healed, first of all the practice is great for pain releave with my scoliosis so thank you dearly but hearing someone have the same issues as me and finding strength in the same thing as me (yoga) just made me feel a lot and i lost a tear or two since i've been traumatized by doctors a lot.

    This is such an amazing practice and really helps ease the daily pain from my back. Over the last year I've drastically improved my back strength, before it would be crippling and was calling for stronger and stronger pain killers. Thanks to yoga (and your amazing routines ) I'm doing so so much better,

      I have been consistently doing this for a month now and I have noticed a big difference. I'm more flexible and have less neck and back pain. I have started doing some of your other videos now. You have won me over to practicing yoga for the rest of my days. Thank you SB

    This is my favorite so far! I've lost a lot of muscle strength lately, and I'm always so tense, its starting to cause headaches. I think I might actually start practicing daily, and work up to proper exercise someday!

    Thank you so so much fo this video , I would tell you that it is the first video which I begin seriously to apply almost every day from approximately more than a month ago; and I already feel much better I admit; and it after more than 3 years that I discovered my scoliosis without doing anything while the curb was progressing every day .
    I wanted to ask you if possible to tell us a little more about your own scoliosis; it degree when you discovered it; and what you made to treat it, was it totally cured?

    @SarahBEthYoga......I couldn't do the 30 min sciatica/LBP one that was 30 mins as it was painful so I tried this one which was still painful to my Right hip, leg area that I believe the Sciatic nerve is trapped or irritated. This has been ongoing for a month with worsening pain in the beginning to now and now I can at least sit without screaming to myself with the exception of alarming my Husband 1 time I yelled out loud. I also have scoliosis and OsteoArthritis in my whole spine, other joints and Fibromyalgia; but completed this one. You are my FAVORITE Teacher alone with Shimaflowyoga (Jodi).     hi fellow warriors, troopers, targets, lol .... man! what a ride! i love the yoga. i really enjoy your routines too. i have always heard surgery is risky, i still believe that, but i havent stood up for 4 yrs. and my spine slid 5-6 inches overnight! it took 2 days for it to land actually. and now i have even less ability to stand up. it is embarrasing, and painful. however, your routines was one of the first i did, it was what got me to feel some sort of motivation to try. so thank you. i pray my surgery at least helps me to stand up. i am ok with a little acceptence, but my organs are squished and i cant l see where im walking. so i will be searching for some sort of recovery routines. and getting back with it asap. the surgeon took me OUT of PT, and told me to stick with the yoga. i just want you to know, this act of kindness, your time and energy, is very much needed, and i think i might have given into my depression without it. so thank you for sharing your knowledge and time with us. it has saved my life i was in bad shape. physically and mentally. thx again

    Thanks you ever so much for this stretch. I just found your video about mid-July after really hurting my back. Even my chiropractor has noticed a change in my lower back flexibility. I highly recommend this for stiffness and pain.

    my stenosis pain is right there where your liatard thingy is its actually getting better little by little im in the process of getting a intrathecal pain pump but don't want to because its pretty drastic the pain is unbearable all I do is cry :( the right physical therapists therapy are amazing coupled with the right medications im grateful ive gotten to this point from where im at ..nice video

    I have scoliosis, bending toward the left. As I have gotten older (had it since childhood), I noticed that I feel it more, but when I stretch, do yoga and Pilates poses they help. I can twist and bend without trouble, but I notice that when I twist to the left, I feel the pull on my right side more, but I am not in pain. I am mindful to not slouch, and walk tall, bend and stretch during the day and it helps. Nevertheless, thank you for this specific stretching, I will be incorporating them at the end of my workouts.

    Thanks for the yoga sarah. I really enjoy then. When you said don't push what doesn't ieel good and it's good to get a little practice each day, did You mean by doing different minutes each day like 20 one day and 30 the next? Because that's what I'm told.
