If I'm running short sprints like the 110 Hurdles or even the 400m hurdles, how long should I run for in order to increase my endurance, would running just a mile help, or should I try to run further?

I should have made that clearer. All of your serious training (for your races) should be sprints. To get more endurance for your races is from what's called speed endurance. You get that from running longer sprint repeats. For regular endurance, that could come from your warm ups. Start with 400m and gradually build to as much as you want. 800m-1600m
