I bought my 06 MCS new, and I still have it. I just can't part with it. Other cars have come and gone over the years, but my MINI is still around. There's nothing like the way that car feels when I drop the hammer. It makes my heart leap, and it brings me much joy! :) We have a Countryman S now, and that car is just not the same as my old 2006. Don't get me wrong, we love the Countryman, but that supercharger...there's something about it being strapped onto a go kart that is still just unreal and somewhat primitive.
18:30 About wheels diameter, going small is not always an upgrade. Let's say going 15", you will get a ligther wheel but forget about big brake kit. Also, if you are going with a 205/50R15 instead than 205/55R15 (same ratio than the stock tire height), yeah you will accelerate "faster" but also you are going to lose some high speed on the same gear. Let's say with the stock tire height and a rev limit at 7200rpm, you will be able to perform a 0-60mph on the 2 first gears, with a small tire diameter, you will need to shift to the 3rd to get 60mph. For the R53/R52S, the sweet spot for wheels is 16" and 17". 15" being too small (adios BBK) and 18" being too big (too heavy).
looking at his build list he has many thousands of dollars into this car, add 50-75% more to the total cost if the owner isnt doing his own work. mini labor is easily $150-250 an hour in northern cali.

Buddy any information on the HID setup please interested. Just bought facelift headlights but don't have igniter so interested in doing this mod
I like the steering wheel, what is it?
I think it's the OEM wheel, but he sent it in for a slight modification to center it.
Would you happen to know the offset of the wheels? Also where did he get that sharkfin upper diffuser?
smaller wheels get you high speed biggger wheels get you fast start ivew got 215/35z
r18 on mine
18’s look too big imo. but to each their own. im on 16’s currently. i think its the sweet spot but 15’s and 17’s can also look good.
Price of it all?

How much power at wheels?
Around 200 I think!
@@Echizen32kMedia Injectors and RMW tune might be the difference to reach that, I guess.
W11 engine or N14 in a 2006 “S”?
It’s a w11 he talks about supercharger the whole time
