Looks great. My main criticism of chronos is the legibility (as my eyesight is a bit sh1t), but this one solves that issue with high contrast, big clear hour and minute hands and no "panda". Great symmetry as you say. It's got so much presence that it doesn't look small on your wrist - it looks just right. It's quite the nugget but that solid H-link would balance the watch head weight nicely. H-link segments look similar in length to an oyster segment, so having only 3 points of micro-adjust is a bit of a concern. Loctite is something I didn't expect. Do you know what grade it is? I've never used it on my watches. I've read that Loctite 222 "purple" is recommended, although I've seen some youtubers use the slightly stronger Loctite 243 "blue". Possibly it's written on the bottle somewhere? Or maybe they kept it hidden. Ta.
Looks stunning ! How does it compare to your 3861 in terms of overall fit and finish/function/wearability? (Price and brand aside) Am deciding on a chronograph for my next purchase and have shortlisted these two. Thus am asking for opinions !
Being 38mm, it's more wearable on my wrist. The speedy feels more refined while the 356 feels more rugged. Both are quite different aesthetically, but the omega does feel like a more premium watch. I prefer the bracelet and case on the Speedmaster, but I enjoy the dial composition of the Sinn much more.
I own this model, in plexy with bracelet and leather strap. I have it for two years now and probably the one i wear most. The only problem with this model in general is with the movement (e.g. some of the counters not reseting fully - in my case i had issues with the hour counter) and for some guys, the chrono hand fell off. TheSinn quality os definitely not there anymore at least on these models....
I have the exact same model. The current Seliita chrono movement is far below the prior Valjoux they used to use. Mine also doesn’t reset properly, and feels like grinding metal every time I try to manually wind. Leagues below my Valjoux chronos.
much looking forward to that review, hoping to get to see it on the fine link bracelet as well! having owned the 556 A for a year now i'm quite a bit considering to declare this watch as my grail :-)
@@welcomewrist When you do that review, do you mind showing it next to the Speedmaster if you still have both? One of these is going to be my next purchase for my 30th at the end of the month! Would love to see how the sizes compare and would be very grateful to see them side by side🎉 ❤
But with a small wrist, the 15mm thickness (sapphire) or 15.5mm (acrylic) looks ridiculous. I was so excited when I visited the Sinn boutique in Tokyo and left so disappointed.
Awesome review and watch 👍

I will double check the Loctite when I get home.
Nit sure what strength it is, but it's blue.
So underrated compared to IWC
I agree. Sinn has fantastic offerings.
Sinn is more value for the money! 👍

I’ve worn my 356 SA daily for 3 years doing everything with it. It works totally fine. Maybe just bad luck. :/ I couldn’t be happier with the quality.

I just got one a few weeks ago. I’ll better put it thru it’s paces so if anything goes South it does it within the warranty period.

The review will be coming soon, I'm currently working on it, and it will be on the fine link 👍

❤❤❤❤❤
Does it come tegmented?
I don't think so
No, but you can buy it media blasted.
Love the size on this chronograph! My wrists are quite small, but this may work.
It's rather compact size is definitely a plus for me!
