What a joke of a car..... Used to drive only Alfas. Bought this for city drive. Three engines burst, wheel bearings are frauds and spare parts from 3 different badges. Even two identical justies wear different parts. What a joke and what a bad investment. Pay a bit more and buy a better brand vehicle! It will pay back faster than you think.

If you look on my channel you will see that we also own a 2004 Subaru Forester XT. The Forester has been a 90% more money waster than the Justy, although I agree to you that it’s pretty hard to find parts for the Justy because it’s pretty rare (even if you count the Daihatsu’s Sirions too). I do have a spare 1KR-FE engine but the original one is still working fine at 176xxxkm, so I guess it depends on maintenance…also, this engine is still being built by Toyota, with slight differences, even today (Toyota aygo), so they have to think it’s a good engine.
I agree to the different parts argument. I had a 2008 Justy forester spares (even same color as my 2009), I swapped the rear axle and the abs stuff seems to be different and somehow the abs doesn’t work anymore…it’s been one of the most annoying issues I’ve got with it and it doesn’t even have a error code or anything. The light comes on and goes away at startup check and the system doesn’t work.

@@tjadventures @tjadventures i use Motorkote products on 3 cars, 2 commercial vans and 1 fl220 10 tons truck. Do the most easy maintenance by myself and each vehicle has history book. The mechanics i trust are official garages by brand. Just keep in mind what happened after 2007 with the Toyota engines and oil burning. Even the Camries are compromised. They went cheap and emission-wise. I had an abs problem with the Volvo truck. It was harder, thus the black box has to be refurbished, but living in Greece means that even the Volvo official garage won't make it. As for the FEs... they are jokes.
      P. S. Thanks for taking your time responding. Appreciate it.
