I got Michelin Pilot Sport 4S on my Challenger last week Tuesday, and it's behaving like a different car. They keep the car on the road so damn good. Even on rain I get no sliding at all.

You need to take the front bumper off and clean the radiators. They build up dirt and gunk where you can't get to it and they rot out the radiators. Then install some screens to keep the bigger pieces out of the 3 ducts in the front. Then get a short shift kit since the 996 shifters are not that great.
I love your porsche so much. Still cant understand that people dislike this model so much. Everytime I see one I get excited.

As for the Trans Am throwing its belt, I had one of those back in the day. My money is on a siezed idler pulley, defective part because it didn't have enough grease in the bearings from the factory. You go to replace it, new Delco one has the same problem, almost no grease on the bearings, you have to take a new part out of the box, take it apart, pack the bearings with grease like it should have came from the factory, then put it on. Gotta love GM quality control back in the day.
It was, was replaced and back on the road a couple days after the trip (it's me/my car)
I’ve got Michellin Pilot Sport 4S tyres on my 2001 V8 SS Commodore.
They are excellent tyres. Great grip in both wet and dry. Well worth the money.

That is awesome. I actually grew up knowing the people that used to own that lake house launching boats where you had kayaks. In high school the I drove the pig trail about once a week. Glad you got to enjoy our little area of NWA!

My P Zeros that I got on my 911 sucked! I put on Michelin Pilot Sport and my car rocked! Such a better ride- the tire comes over my GT3 rim lip so no curb rash! Note- I have the GT3 rims, not the car! Just a 2000 996 with GT3 side skirts and rims (I bought the car before knowing this)
On the track with a Corvette w/ 80 miles "Aren't you supposed to break these in?" That line killed me ahaha
Hoovie you need to head south of pig tail to mount magizine south of Paris ark. It's not that much farther but is a way nicer and better road. Switch backs on the back side are some fast sections.
Yeah, I wouldn't worry about overheating a Z06. From what I've heard they have a tendency to overheat if you push them for too long.

You should hook up with the S2ki folks in your area, we (surrounding states) get together and do the Boston Mountain tour twice a year, pig trail is the highlight of a day of 10 hours of twisties, then party in Eureka Springs into the wee hours of the night... You don't have to have an S2000 to join the fun....
