I always need a pair of scissors in the kitchen to open all of those plastic wrapped items when I cook. So I bought a magnetic clip to put on the side of the fridge (which faces my stove), and I hang a small pair of scissors from it. That way I don't have to go to a kitchen drawer to get the scissors, and then go back to the drawer to put them away.

I was intrigued by your hint for getting rid of garlic odor on one's hands by rubbing them on the inside of a stainless steel sink. I smashed some garlic cloves the other day with the broad side of my Santoku knife. Of course, it smelled of garlic. I washed it then rubbed the side of the blade on the side of my sink and the odor was gone! I washed it again and put away an odor-free knife. Thanks for that great hint!

I too love the metal sink grid and one of the nicest features is that it rolls up and can be stored out of the way. One thing I have done to make my life easier is mix my own soft butter; I mix 1 cup of avocado oil (or you can use olive oil) and one cup of butter in a blender and store it in a glass container with lid. It is very spreadable and I tell myself it is healthy. 😉 I think you could do videos on just about any topic and I would enjoy it-gardening, thrifting, small gift ideas, books, hair care, organizational tips. Thank you and Stewart, both, for the time it takes to do these videos.

Just a couple of days ago I was walking down memory lane and was thinking about an Easter Brunch at my son and daughter in laws home, I made orange butter, it was so good I could have eaten right off the knife. I made it with softened butter, powdered sugar, orange zest and a bit of orange extract. I’m thinking about making some for myself and bake some yeast rolls to go with it.

I understand the frustration the guys have when trying to turn a lamp off. I added an upholstery tassel to hang off the switch. It serves as a guide to find where the darn thing is under the lamp shade. I'm fairly certain I stole this idea many years ago but it has been a successful and easy fix for a frustrating issue.

I have seen stain glass artists at craft shows (especially jurist shows )and in antique stores.
Good luck on your hunt !

Watched to see what all is out there. Really like those roll up over the sink drying racks so that's a tick for me. However, BEST TIP EVER was rubbing your fingers on the stainless steel sink to get rid of the garlic smell. Never heard of it b4 but I made a lasagne soup yesterday and after mincing 5 cloves of garlic my hands were awful. Did the sink trick and it worked a treat. Most of the smell was gone straight away and there is none at all today. Awesome! Thanks so much 😊

HI LInda, don’t need the beauty update stuff but what I really enjoy seeing in these videos are the little item groupings you do. Like the tray with the topiary and the books. So adorable! Do you just try it and see if you like the way it looks or are there some design rules to making item groupings appealing? You are so good at it! I have tons of items that I love but too many! I need to make the most of the flat surfaces I have without it looking too cluttered.

Love Harney & Sons; been using for years. Barnes and Noble carry this as well. Enjoy the informative videos as well. White cottage from Etsy carry soy candles and my favorite is Pumpkin Souffle. I buy them in bulk when available. I'm asthmatic so many scents are not healthy for me. This is soft and lovely and doesn't affect my asthma. It calms me; even on my worse days and its my treat to me.

For anyone with leg cramps, my dad had them later in life and the doctor told him to put a bar of Ivory soap at the end of the bed, between the sheets. Strange, but true. Apparently, it's an old remedy that actually worked for him. He was able to sleep comfortably without any leg cramps and didn't need any medications. I will try out that tea, Linda, as it sounds wonderful! I enjoy a cup of tea every night. I use local honey to sweeten my tea just a bit. I love that mascara ! I ordered some after the first time you recommended it and its the best!❤ one of my favorite Amazon purchases was a potting tray to keep all the soil contained while potting plants..It has made potting so much neater and I love it! Love the garlic peeler I need that! That shelf is really great looking especially with such pretty flowers !

I just ordered the mascara and I also ordered the “Like” Glossier lip color when you recommended it. I really love it. I bet a beauty product video would be a great success as well! Thank you for all your hard work. You are very gifted/talented in many areas. You are loved! ♥️

One of my go to Amazon products are little glass oil tea lights that l use in votives. I don’t like the artificial plastic lights and these are a safe alternative. They are fused at the top with a little wick. They can not be knocked over and have spillage. I use them throughout the year, but especially at Christmas.
Thank you for sharing your favorites, this was a great video … now l am off to google on Amazon.

Hi Linda... from a fellow "Linda"! 🤗
I enjoy all of your videos and this one was fun, too! I love several of the "Essence" makeup line products; they offer great prices for the quality! I have not tried their mascara yet but am looking forward to doing so now! Essence makes a wonderful SuperShine Lip Gloss for around $3 or $4 in various lovely shades (including clear) that look very nice alone or on top of lipstick without being overwhelming. At 55 years old I don't want blinding lip gloss! Ha! I believe CVS & Ulta carry the Essence makeup line. For Christmas every year, I give my sister a basket of "My Favorite Things" similar to all of the goodies you shared in this video. They are things I discovered during the year that I enjoyed. I buy one for me at the time, and one for her Christmas basket. I think she has fun opening her goodies every year! Thank you for sharing! Keep 'em coming!! You're adorable! 🌞🙋‍♀️☮

LOVED IT! Especially the orchid table I was looking for something to get my orchids out of the drafty winter window sill but not too faraway from the sun.

Hi Linda, thought you and some of your viewers might like this winter warmer tea. A tea version of mulled wine to me anyway. I live in England so not sure of availability everywhere. Brand: Teapigs, tea with trimmings. Naturally caffeine free. Spiced winter red tea, with orange peel, cinnamon and cloves. Best wishes Linda for 2022 gardening.

One thing that changed my life is a Palmyth Head Net Hat I got from Amazon. Due to health conditions I’m very sensitive to direct sunlight and this hat let’s me spend more time outdoors. It has a built in mosquito net that stays hidden till you need it, and a detachable cape thing (which I never use). But it’s well made, travels well, comfortable, and very useful. It’s about $20.
