I remember in the early 00s she had a pretty good economic clothing brand from like $5-$25. I was in my early 20s and broke and so thankful to be able to afford some really cool pieces
@colescreations1I loved that clothing line. It was sold at Steve & Berry’s. (Think I spelled that wrong). It’s a shame that company went out of business, they had great pricing.
@pcaul8156 Stash is one of my fave perfumes of all times. I STASHED it myself, I got about 6 bottles and some rollers, 2 hair oils too. Sad she discontinued it but when it launched her passion talking about it was contagious !
SJP always come across as very kind and gracious, and down to earth. She gets so much crap for ageing gracefully, which I find totally ridiculous, she looks fabulous!!
I visited NYC for the first time in the summer of 2002 and my friend took me out to lunch to a lovely, casual eating deli-style place. SJP walked in, heavily pregnant and looking just fabulous in a the incredible heat. She came in to pick up lunch and was greated warmly by the guys at the counter. My friend didn't hesitate: decided to go to her on her way out and tell her we were huge fans, and that I was visiting NYC for the first time. She came in to the table I was seated at, thanked us for the recognition and started a short , warm conversation: "Welcome! All the way from London, wow! so, how are you finding NYC? First time, right? What plans do you have for today, guys?'. She was at the height of SATC fame and she was the most down to earth, nice and genuine famous person I have ever met(and Ive met quite a few).
Ah that is awesome! You must have been *thrilled*! I really like Sarah Jessica Parker. She easily could have become such a snob and she just stayed true to her roots.
Love the fragrance talk. When my parents sold the house we grew up in we were there helping. As my Mom got to the back of the hall linen closet she found a bottle of a fragrance and put some on. I smelled it from a distance away where I was packing a box and I shouted out “We’re getting a babysitter”. My Mom looked at me and asked why I said that. Told her that was what the house smelled like when we were getting a babysitter because she would have only used that scent when she was getting done up to go out. This would he in the mid-60’s and the fragrance was Woodhue by Faberge. I kept that bottle and still have it. I lost my Mom last year. Those days seem both forever ago and yet just like yesterday.
@karenbyrne7597 Totally get that. The tiny ambered bit of fragrance left in my bottle still smells just like it did back then. But the fragrance is available from The Vermont Country store and I have been tempted to buy one to see how it smells. I would do the same.
What a beautiful lady inside and out. Well done Caroline for giving her the space to shine and having a relaxed conversation rather than a formal interview xxx
Lovely interview Caroline. I had the pleasure of meeting Sarah Jessica last year while out for Sunday lunch in Donegal, she spoke to the kids at our table in such a lovely way. Her personality is as beautiful as her skin which is stunning.
I am a woman of a certain age too but I will wear glitter. I brush a gentle smattering of it in my eyebrows or under my eyes just to make sparkles around my eyes. I love it. I don't care what people think.
Good for her. One gets so sick of celebrities pushing $500.00 creams that are not necessary and have no science behind them! Great job Sarah! Very classy
I absolutely loved this interview, but SJP is one of my favorites, so it goes without saying. Always so humble, so articulate, and so incredibly intelligent and kind. And, let's not forget about stylish. I've had the privilege of meeting her at two of her shoe events (I'm a huge collector) and she is also so very lovely. What a way to kick off a podcast!
I had the most amazing experience of winning a competition to meet SJP in london when she was launching stash ..she was the most stunning natural daintiest lady i have ever met she is so natural and genuinely inquisitive and just beautiful all round And has the most amazing eyes i lived on that experience for years ❤❤❤❤
If you couldn't love Sarah Jessica Parker more! What a humble, respectful, genuine lady. Great podcast and interview with clearly well considered, genuine answers. Just lovely....
I can't believe SJP has old Prescriptives makeup, too! I am down to my last 2 tubes of their famous Camouflage Cream that I've used since 1993. I wish Estee Lauder hadn't discontinued such a wonderful brand. I love Sarah Jessica. She always makes me feel confident at my age, unlike when I see the overdone celebrities in their 50s.
I don’t know why people are surprised that SJP is so authentic & genuine. Clearly for some it’s the first time they’ve seen her in an interview. I’ve been a fan for 37 yrs & counting. Her down to earth demeanor & humbleness hasn’t changed one bit. One of the many reasons I love her. Thank you for this wonderful interview 😊
Never saw a long interview with SJP and I really like her. So down to earth. Her eye makeup is more flattering here than when she used to line the waterline with black, making her eyes look tiny. I will have to check out the ROC line.
ROC chose a great collaborator! The way she spoke about the brand, the products, and personal matters was considerate and sincere. There was no pressure at all about the products and now I am genuinely curious.
Seeing these two women I admire sitting in the same place having a chat has blown my mind. What an amazing start to the women listening to these awesome women
My mother had 11 children - she made most of all our clothes and her own. She always looked very well kept, and made time for skin care, work, foster children and charity, also always a member of at least two choirs. Just happens she was stunningly beautiful
Ok, I was not expecting this interview AT ALL! I even a double take when I saw the thumbnail. SJP always seems so lovely in all her interviews and Caroline was amazing as usual. Also, I was SO HAPPY to hear that it's not totally off the table and Stash might return some day! 🥳
This is the best interview I’ve seen in a long time. SJP is a class act and so interesting. And Caroline steers the ship well here. Loved every moment!
I’m late to the party. Watching SJP talk about her mother brought tears to my eyes. She was 98 when she passed but up until the day before she died she had me help her do her brows, put on a little eyeshadow, mascara and lipstick. Finally she asked me to give her a spritz of her favorite perfume, Shalimar.
What an absolutely delightful interview! I’ve loved SJP & her hubby forever. She’s such a kind, smart and elegant woman and I love how relaxed the vibe is, just like 2 friends having a chat and enabling her to be so open and at ease. I have a bottle of Lovely perfume at home, still a fave all these years later. She’s a great pairing for Roc, you can tell it’s an authentic relationship. Her thanking everyone at the end, so sweet and considerate ❤️
What an absolute darling! I love your conversation. Specially the part when you speak about issues regarding parenthood. So real and just… lovely! Also the bit when she says something like “thanks for making this so fun”. There’s such a sense of sisterhood.
I love the way SJP looks and speaks. I also like to see her with Matthew Broderick, her husband. The fact that they're both in musicals and plays makes them that much more interesting.
A fantastic interview. I really enjoyed her comments on the ROC products and overall brand. Her SJP Lovely fragrance is one of my all time favorites. Love her view on aging and body acceptance. How lucky for Caroline. Well done to both of them.
sjp thats my 1st MAKEUP MEMORY with my MOM too & ESTEE LAUDER as well !!! she would lick the bristles and dipped it into the cake eyeliner.we are about the same age
It was amazing to listen both of you!❤ I wish I could have a same healthy skin in the same age! I am wondering which treatment she had previously to keep the skin looks healthy and glowy?
I actually met her husband’s father. Not formally, let me make that clear. But James Broderick was frequently in my neighbourhood when I was growing up in Greenwich Village in the mid to late 1970s. If we were both getting something from a neighbourhood store ( those are long gone, sadly) he would always take the time to chat to a curious adolescent who wanted to be an actress. And he always had a beige raincoat on. Lovely video Caroline!
She's the first celebrity I've seen who is mindful of her customers finances. I have massive amounts of respect for Sarah and Caroline.
That's a great observation! I agree completely.
I remember in the early 00s she had a pretty good economic clothing brand from like $5-$25. I was in my early 20s and broke and so thankful to be able to afford some really cool pieces
@colescreations1 That is so cool! I love these kind of stories.
@colescreations1I loved that clothing line. It was sold at Steve & Berry’s. (Think I spelled that wrong). It’s a shame that company went out of business, they had great pricing.

True, she seems lovely and looks great. Pure class
She has definitely had work done but it is tasteful and looks natural. Her jawline looks nice and snatched, I wish she would share what she does.
@barbarab8182 Where you there to see her getting any work done???? actually she looks her age .... to make a comment likethat just stipulating 😱😱😱😱😱
I don’t think she’s had any work done
She’s lucky her jawline is still tight b/c most us in our 50’s that isn’t the case

My mum died 18 months ago and I bought a bottle of her perfume diorissimo just so I can squirt the room to conjure her up.
I absolutely love this story. I'm so sorry for your loss.
My favorite perfume.👍@karenbyrne7597
@karenbyrne7597 Totally get that. The tiny ambered bit of fragrance left in my bottle still smells just like it did back then. But the fragrance is available from The Vermont Country store and I have been tempted to buy one to see how it smells. I would do the same.
Thank you
I can listen to SJP endlessly, despite being such iconic to me, she always comes across to be kind and thoughtful. Thanks Caroline
What a beautiful lady inside and out. Well done Caroline for giving her the space to shine and having a relaxed conversation rather than a formal interview xxx
I’m a dad with 3 kids and this is my morning coffee video ❤ thank you
@anja5017uhhh what?
She's so nice! I love her talking about her Mom with such respect and understanding. ❤
What a way to enter the podcasting world! SJP was an absolute delight! An easy, casual chat. Great to listen along.

HAPPY 60TH BIRTHDAY SARAH JESSICA PARKER !!!!

I met her once on her launch of stash I actually won a competition to meet her and she was so lovely and genuine
I've been a fan for years 😊😊😊

Honestly she’s so beyond beautiful. She has always been.
What a kind, natuaral, sensible and beautiful woman SJP is. ❤
A celebrity with integrity! A rare combination. Thank you both 💖
What joy. Wonderful to watch Miss SJP and Mrs Hirons together.
If you couldn't love Sarah Jessica Parker more! What a humble, respectful, genuine lady. Great podcast and interview with clearly well considered, genuine answers. Just lovely....
the class & elegance she exudes is in measurable pure GRACE

I would be so happy if i could find some Prescriptives All You Need Moisturizer.
Anyone have a stash i could buy?
Love Prescriptives! So sad when they discontinued
I am a year older than SJP and she makes me feel good about myself and my aging. She I so classy.
SJP "Lovely" fragrance was sooooo nice!
I've never been a SJP fan, this interview changed that. She seems so genuine and such a beautiful soul. Lovely interview ❤
same, i'm seeing her in a new light. She's really genuine and normal.
21:00 “Celebrating the adventure of a life. And the accumulation of all of the good that can come with it.” Love that focus! 💗
First interview I have seen of SJP, she is delightful.
Sarah Jessica is one of my faves, I love that she is still natural and so BEAUTIFUL!
Never saw a long interview with SJP and I really like her. So down to earth. Her eye makeup is more flattering here than when she used to line the waterline with black, making her eyes look tiny. I will have to check out the ROC line.
Youth is beauty itself!
ROC chose a great collaborator! The way she spoke about the brand, the products, and personal matters was considerate and sincere. There was no pressure at all about the products and now I am genuinely curious.
Now I am also curious about trying Roc
Fantastic interview just amazingly well done!
Seeing these two women I admire sitting in the same place having a chat has blown my mind. What an amazing start to the women listening to these awesome women
Prescriptives...yay! Bring it back xx
Yes!! Love Prescriptives
My mother had 11 children - she made most of all our clothes and her own. She always looked very well kept, and made time for skin care, work, foster children and charity, also always a member of at least two choirs. Just happens she was stunningly beautiful
SJP has beautiful skin. Wow !

My Mom used to eyeline with a Maybelline dip in water liner. My how things have changed!
This is the best interview I’ve seen in a long time. SJP is a class act and so interesting. And Caroline steers the ship well here.

What an elegant lady and SJP isn’t half bad!
I love it that she looks natural, she has great skin and good bones and she looks great, elegant and attractive not weird and fake.
bones????
@seerpou Bone structure is what they meant.
Wow, so impressed with this interview- kudos to both xx
It’s like my crack 😂❤
The clinique silver eye compact was called ‘Basic Eye Emphasiser’

OMG, I had that Clinique eyeliner, it was perfection, never smudged and the best brush!! Great interview with SJP, luv!
What an absolute darling! I love your conversation. Specially the part when you speak about issues regarding parenthood.
So real and just… lovely!
Also the bit when she says something like “thanks for making this so fun”. There’s such a sense of sisterhood.
