You gotta use all 3 methods. Online dating is no panacea. Stats show young adults (say under 30) are the loneliest people ever and have less sex than any generation before, and they are the main target demo of apps. There is also a massive gender disparity (in favor of women) on apps. I do agree they are more efficient, and that the other 2 methods are massively time and energy consuming. Nothin stoppin one from usint apps for 20 mins a day during the week and doing some cold approaches or social circle stuff on the weekend.
If you have the time and resources, go for it. But for 95% of guys, online dating is more than enough to get more than plenty of options to find the right long term partner
