I have scoured the internet for ways to finish off my fleece blanket and not look like a blanket full of knots and yours is perfect! Thank you for the video!
I just finished making my blanket the other day! Thank you for this post. It turned out great, and I added a button - it looked a lot neater than tying knots or simply stitching the pieces together.
You made that look so easy which i really like. Many people make videos where the camera is jumping all over and their fingers are in the way. Thank you.
That's exactly what I wanted to see, and it looks great. Such a better design than working upper and lower intertwined individually. Thank you for sharing your idea and an excellent demonstration, Claire. I think I'll paint a coordinated pattern icon on my button! God bless.
Wonderful video, I am making mine for grand daughters too. I loved the button but then my crazy mind thought about my infant grand daughter and that button being a serious choke hazard...still super cute for older children.
Thank you for sharing, I love the way you do it and especially the button on the end. I’m making one for a baby shower. Going to try it this way so much easier then tying. Thank you again.
thank you so much for this tutorial. I've searched for weeks for a good, detailed tutorial on how to braid the ends and yours has been more helpful than any of them. thank you! ♡
Love this easy and live the button you can got my go wild here and do something special like a little tassel and personalized tag with Name and date love it, there is nothing like giving something beautiful that looks so complicating that's personalized and inexpensive to plus easy to make! Thanks so much!
Love it! Thank you for explaining how you made your edge so clearly. I love the button idea! Very cute! I’m starting one for my cousin’s new grand baby. ( I guess the baby would be my 3rd cousin, lol).
That's really CUTE idea with the way you ended it with a button love it there are so many buttons a person can choose from so I believe it's a wonderful idea thank you for sharing
I made a blanket for my granddaughter but I did not put the button I put a piece of ribbon and wrote a little prayer and sold it on as that way she wouldn’t get choked thank you for putting up this video and Riley loves her blanket bless you and do you have any other videos up how to make a sheet set for a baby bed.
It's a beautiful edge. I like the button idea for older children's blankets! I'm making a baby's crib blanket and I wondered if there is some way to trim the edges so that they're rounded instead of the square edge poking out? I don't want to damage the integrity of the braid. Thank you for sharing and take good care of you and yours.
Looks great more comfortable for baby. The button idea is great. Imagine using a heart button or animal button. Great job. How much fabric do you use. I have a new grand baby girl coming in July. This will be great. Thanks.
Love this look! I see this is nit a new video Claire but do you have any other "new" (to me) finish edges for your fleece blankets? Thank you Sharon C.
Great tutorial and easy to follow. I like the way you finished yours much better than the others. Seems a shame to do all the work to not make knots just to knot it at the end. I like the button idea.
Thank you for the video. It was great. However, I need help with the corners. My corners are bunched up (gathered). Is there anything I can do to fix them? Thank you,
Lisa Williams NorthStar Great Danes She said to start 9 inches from the edge. That’s what she did. Align the material and snip all around, after cut the center of each strip just enough to bring the previous strip into the hole, twist so you can see material. Think if it’s like starting(like a braide in your head. That helped me. The end she grabbed a button and sewed it.
My limitless gratitude!!!! We far away Asians learn these classical Western methods with yr generous deed. Thanx Internet. Thanx for sharing !!!!!!!
I really liked how you took the time to literally showed me in detail how to correctly make your edging. Thank you very much!!!

That's really CUTE idea with the way you ended it with a button love it there are so many buttons a person can choose from so I believe it's a wonderful idea thank you for sharing
Nice video, and I am going to try it on a baby blanket. But I won't use a button, maybe a piece of grosgrain ribbon tied into a bow and then sewn on.
FINALLY!!!! Thanks for the video

Absolutely beautiful!! I saw you used 2 yards, how many different fleece? Two or three? Looks like 3??
AWESOMENESS!!!
Hi and thank you very much! 😎🌸

Ok, got my fabric, how long is the 1 inch wide piece? I think I did mine 2 1/2 inches, but it seems to be very tight. Please help?
you needed to show how you got started, then how to finish up😉
