    I just finished making my blanket the other day! Thank you for this post. It turned out great, and I added a button - it looked a lot neater than tying knots or simply stitching the pieces together.

    Wonderful video, I am making mine for grand daughters too. I loved the button but then my crazy mind thought about my infant grand daughter and that button being a serious choke hazard...still super cute for older children.

    Love this easy and live the button you can got my go wild here and do something special like a little tassel and personalized tag with Name and date love it, there is nothing like giving something beautiful that looks so complicating that's personalized and inexpensive to plus easy to make!     Nice video, and I am going to try it on a baby blanket. But I won't use a button, maybe a piece of grosgrain ribbon tied into a bow and then sewn on.

    I made a blanket for my granddaughter but I did not put the button I put a piece of ribbon and wrote a little prayer and sold it on as that way she wouldn’t get choked thank you for putting up this video and Riley loves her blanket bless you and do you have any other videos up how to make a sheet set for a baby bed.

    It's a beautiful edge. I like the button idea for older children's blankets! I'm making a baby's crib blanket and I wondered if there is some way to trim the edges so that they're rounded instead of the square edge poking out? I don't want to damage the integrity of the braid. Thank you for sharing and take good care of you and yours.

    Great tutorial and easy to follow. I like the way you finished yours much better than the others. Seems a shame to do all the work to not make knots just to knot it at the end. I like the button idea.

    Ok, got my fabric, how long is the 1 inch wide piece? I think I did mine 2 1/2 inches, but it seems to be very tight. Please help?

      She said to start 9 inches from the edge. That’s what she did. Align the material and snip all around, after cut the center of each strip just enough to bring the previous strip into the hole, twist so you can see material. Think if it’s like starting(like a braide in your head. That helped me. The end she grabbed a button and sewed it.
