    I love the different styles!!! The only one I’ve ever seen is the regular ties, the braided and pull through ones are so neat!

    Thank you for a lovely tutorial! These were all creative cute and I appreciated seeing different ways to cut the strips. I used half a yard to make a shorter blanket for use at a desk and the braided edge worked sooo perfectly to wrap around the shoulders, not get in the way, and have a cute border edge that my cats won't eat.

    Hello, i was wondering how well the looped edge stays in after a wash or rough handling?

    How much fabric would you recommend for a twin-sized bed?

    If I want the straps longer can I cut them 7 inches instead of 5 and if so would I make the square 7 on the corners?

    • @HelloSewing
      @HelloSewing  2 года назад +1

      Yes and yes. But I would try this on a scrap piece to see whether I like them that long

      Why do we cut the corners? I’m confused on that. Can I not just keep tying?

    If my starting felt is a different size than yours ( mine is 36 x 58, im doing a baby blanket) do i use the same measurement of 5 x5 squares off the corners?

    • @HelloSewing
      @HelloSewing  Месяц назад

      Yes I would use the same measurement for the corners as if you make them smaller it would be really hard to tie

    Please stop making these cheap and nasty blankets. No one really wants them. They look so bad. The knots are lumpy and bumpy and annoying. If you’re going to make a blanket sew it and show some real skill.

      These blankets are well received by many. Gifting them to someone who is in a nursing home or rehab facility brings joy. Thanks for the precise instructions. I'm working on making these and I'm a newbie.😊
