Thank you so much for this video. Due to arthritis In my wrists I can do very little with my right hand, I have to wear a brace to reduce the pain. I can actually do this with the brace on my wrist.
Great fringe method 🤩. Thank you for the video 😊👍💕
You’re welcome Witty 😊 Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍
Thank you for this! Wonderful way of doing these blankets!
Lovely tutorial and a easy project. Love it.
I love this way of connecting the fleece. The ties lay nice and flat without the bulk that a knot creates. Thank you for sharing this technique with us!
Love how this turned out
Thank you so much for this easy project. Very well taught too.
Thanks very much my mom needs this ! ❤❤❤❤
Sherrill I always come to you when I need a project solution or refresher...You are awesome. And you two are sunshine on a rainy day.

Oh my goodness!! Thank you for sharing! What a wonderful and easy way to knot these fleece blankets! I think I'm gonna enjoy making one of these again.I made a fleece blanket for my husband years ago when he was in Afghanistan and it took me forever to knot the darn thing. Anyway,, it was worth it. I think this time around it will go a little faster now that you showed me how to do it. Thanks again!!!
Wow!! What a great tutorial!! I can't wait to make my fleece blanket ❤
Thank you, you explained the process very well. Next time my sewing table is cleared I will try this.
Thank you for sharing! Our church makes 100's of these a year a church what a new method for those with arthritis!! God Bless You!
Thanks for sharing this! It is so helpful to know that even with injury to the hands, crafting is possible and still fun!
Glad I watched this before starting mine. I really like the symmetry of the tucked tabs vs tied knots. Brilliant! Thanks for sharing😊😊
Love this & thank you!!! I like the look of this way more than knotting!
I can’t sew and I’ve seen other fleece blankets and this looks so much neater than the knot blankets. Your directions were simple. I can’t wait to try it!
I don't like the knot. Tieiing. The kids don't want the lumps as they call them.
I am in a wheelchair and my hands don't work full but after watching other ways to tie with my daughter, ur way is soo much easier and faster! We finished her project in a matter of minutes and she enjoyed it much more!! She can't wait to make more now!
Love this. I make these all the time. I like the change from tying.
So cool and cute. Thanks for sharing and teaching us. I loom knit but my sister duse something like this.
So beautiful. Thank you so much.
Excellent, I love it! Thank you for this much more simpler way of doing this. I also appreciate the corner measurement. Thanks again!!!

I am doing some fleece blankets for the first time, glad I came upon your channel.
What a great idea!! I have lost a lot of strength in my hands from arthritis and this is right up my alley. Love it!!!!!!!!
This is Perfect! 👍 I just became a Great-Grandma for the first time and my arthritis is no fun, but this looks like I might be able to handle it. Thanks so much for sharing this! I'm going to make her a blanket 👍👍👍
Thank you Sherrill, that was a fantastic demonstration :) fleece and flannel rank high in our house (Canadians) and I can see experimenting adding a layer or two to this style. What a great wintery afternoon project ! Thank you again. Cheers, Janis.
Thank you for showing this way of completing fleece blankets! I thought I was going to need to give up my crafting due to ganglion cysts and pain from tying the knots. Now I believe I can continue! God's blessings in 2020!
I just found your channel this morning! And I am so very amazed at this technique! You have done a very good job at explaining this. Thank you so very much!

Thanks for sharing.
I have made lots of theses blankets for gifts. Now.......
I can make them so much easier.
Thank you for sharing🌹
I just subscribed! Love the blanket and want to make one for my son. He is grown and a hard worker so this would be great as a throw when he’s in his recliner. Fleece is so soft and warm and our homes should be our ‘safe place to fall.’ So he would enjoy this soft blanket. Great idea and tutorial. I’m so sorry about your hand. You didn’t let it stop you, you figured out a way around it. Good for you and good for us to learn from you. God bless you.✝️🙏🏼❤️
Omg you have made my day with this I want to gift my Great Nephew with a personal gift and this would be just perfect Thank you for sharing
Knowing how long your ties will be depending on the size of that square cut helped problem solve some dilemmas. Thank you for this very quick and brilliant tutorial instead of tying our edges. Hugs to you!
Found your videos 2 years ago when I first started sewing. You are still my 1st go to. Easy to follow but must admit I love seeing your family, especially your husband! Love the energy and love when they are in it. Can’t wait to start this new project. Thanks Sherrill, you are awesome!
Hi Holly. I am so glad the sewing tutorials are helpful. My family is very supportive. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍
Awesome! Can't wait to get started on my blanket!
Thank you for sharing this video! I had seen a video similar to this one a long time ago and the person that made it had a different way of explaining how she had done it. Needless to say, I did not "get it". Your instructions I "got" the first time. I can hardly wait to get started making one for myself.
I know this is from 2018 but still had to comment - what a great method, great video, and project. Most importantly thank you for being an inspiration to others who may have a disability, injury, illness or other thing that keeps them from participating in life -
Hi Jilly. Make sure to cut the holes small. Happy new year. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing.
Jilly Girl
Exactly! I just left a comment today!
I Love all your Sewing Video's I watch your video's a lot when I sew in the winter
Thanks Dear! This is wonderful. My daughter and I make tons of fleece blankets to donate to our local humane society. We’ve been fostering for years. I used to make a cardboard template for her when she was younger and we tied tons of knots. I am so happy I found this video. Thank you for sharing. Sending you a warm hug...I have fibromyalgia and at times those darned knots are a problem.
Hi Nailah. Thanks for watching, and happy blanket making.
WONDERFUL ... Finished product is beautifully done. This method is easy, simple and requires no sewing. Great for children as well as adults and the elderly. Any one can do it. Love how you use the painter's tape to make a straight line and use as a guide to where you cut to on each of the "fringe" strips and the "very small" cut to make a hole to fold the "fringe strip" back through and lock it in place. Regular painters' tape is easily removed when finished.
Oh So Happy to see your "no sew-no knot" fleece blanket technique! I have RA. in fingers of both hands and in wrists and very severe, painful carpal tunnel syndrome extending to both elbows with almost no feeling in my fingers decreasing my ability to hold on to things and use as I once did, including tying.
I have 5 young great-grandkids for whom I have been wanting to make this type of blanket. With the technique and scissors you have shown, I believe the kids will have blankets next to their stockings this Christmas.
Thank you!
Thank you so much for sharing I always enjoy your explanations in doing it easier.
God bless you always
What a fantastic idea, thank you so much. Your quilt is so beautiful.
Beautiful and creative. Your such an inspiration.♡♡♡
Thank you for this new creation. May God bless you.
Thank you for this easy method and detailed and clear explanation. I have been crafting for years and only made one fleece blanket a few years ago. I wasn't pleased with how it turned out. I recently bought a no sew fleece kit at my local fabric store. Their instructions were confusing. I will follow your instructions and plan to have a beautiful holiday throw for my family room.
Happy Thanksgiving 💗😍💗
Suuuper easy!! Thank you so much for sharing with us!🤗🙏❤

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I just found your RUclips channel and I had to subscribe based on this video. I used to make these for gifts, but I have developed neuropathy in my hands. It makes it very difficult to tie knots...or do a lot of things. I can't wait to see more of your videos. Thank you so much for sharing. I really appreciate you.
