I love your spirit, thank you for approximating how much time to make the blanket. Also, thank you for sharing your practical projects and ideas. I just love watching your kindness honesty and your stamina to challenge yourself. Your husband is wonderful funny uncooperative, a perfectly typical male, and your daughter is beautiful, cute, and fun too! I do remember those days of my young girls just playing, enjoying everything. At that age, they were dressing up in costumes pretending to put on a play of singing, dancing, and some gymnastic rolling act. All those old folks who were just sitting around and talking had to pay attention to their performance!!
The first thing i do when i open RUclips is go to your channel Alisa 💕 you absolutely make my day when posting new video’s 💕 thank you for yet another awesome project tutorial video •
I bought a ruler that has slots in it so the cuts are really even and the fabric can’t be cut too far into the blanket. If you’re making several item, it’s worth the price. It was years ago, but I’m sure they’re still around. I think it was a quilting notion. Cute idea for the coasters/mug rugs. No waste!
Love this Alisa I just did 3 east quick crochet projects for Christmas gifts in my channel and I love this one definitely something my sister would love thank you for sharing. X
Very Nice ! You are Crafty ! I'm trying, but having a hard time cutting Straight 😐. Second time I'm trying this. Trying to make a baby blanket for my friends coming Granddaughter 💜
Pretty. Love those little coasters too. My stepdaughter made my husband and I a tied blanket probably 10 years ago. Not as pretty as this one, but cozy warm. Large enough we can both snuggle in it for warmth. I adore this one you made. Or is that covet?
Such a customizable idea. My granddaughter loves sloths. I’m going to try to find some fabric with sloths. At the moment I’m making beeswax wraps and although they are turning out , I’ve got a decent amount of time put in for something pretty small lol. I appreciate a usable gift idea that doesn’t take the whole day and isn’t so messy. Thanks Alisa. 😊👍🥰
I’ve never seen fabric with sloths, so good luck. if you don’t find anything, you could print a picture for a pattern and do some appliqué. That’s what I did. It’s a bit more work, but it’s work from love.
hello, nice blanket! i made one of these and it's kind of fun, the only problem i encountered is cutting the fabric to be the same size. First to begin, f find that even the fabric i bought are the same size, 2 meters, they are not the same length and width making it so hard to make them even size, do u have any suggestion. its kind of frustrating to spend so much time just cutting the fabric.
I do not, if you want to sew it - then just sew it in a square and leave and opening to turn it right side out. I have washed these before and they stay in tact perfectly! And it does not fray!
I made my kids these blankets over the years. The weight of the fleece seems to keep the layers together. No need to quilt. Also, if the fleece starts to pill, ( I know they say it's No Pill fleece, but...) I've untied one small section and turned the blanket inside out, pulled all the ties through (still knotted) to the new outside, then retied the opening. All soft and cozy again! Keep in mind that this doesn't work on fleece with wording. It ends up backwards! Also, these blankets aren't for very young children. They can get fingers caught in the ties. Hospitals won't accept them anymore. Use a blanket stitch instead.
Do you think the fridge can be annoying ? Getting in a baby's face ? Or even an Adults ? I don't know if I would want the Fringe in my face & there's a way to like make it look like a braid. The fringe is cute, but not so Practical sometimes. Thank You 🕊️

That’s really cool. Could you post a pic of your project?
Dale Stadler when I’m done sure. 😊
Where did you find that awesome fleece fabric? I love it!
Jo-Ann's a few years ago! :)

Looks so easy for others & simple, but I get a little discombobulated. The pins , the edges, Perfect Cutting .
I would tack the blanket all over! So when you wash it it wouldn’t loosen up!
I’ve made fleece blankets in the past, and picked a detail of the pattern to tack over, it’s somewhat hidden on the patterned side.
❤
Hello
Love it, but do you have a sewn version?
I do not, if you want to sew it - then just sew it in a square and leave and opening to turn it right side out. I have washed these before and they stay in tact perfectly! And it does not fray!
I need sharper Scissors too
Beautiful idea but did not understand what you did in the cut corners
will it separate
in the middle if not quilted ?
Iris, are you talking about coaster or the blanket?

How much material should I use for a kids blanket?
How do you Wash and Dry this item without having to retie half the knots ???
Washed it and nothing came undone, same for the baby blanket we have been given years ago. Just tie the nots well and that's it.
My blanket has the slits with tag pulled through. Maybe I could retie the way you tie and they will not come undone. Thanks for your reply.
