When will they have a Prodigy Vs RIPP????
did you have to tune computer to run this system?
That's pretty good there's a lot of weight added to that jeep, tires look like 33s good job
Can the 42RLE Auto Trans handle that boost ? They’re pretty weak as it is, too bad not the NAG1 as in 2012+ JKs, but I hate the 3.6 Pentastar, I prefer the 3.8, much easier to work on and not that bullshit oil filter housing issue and taking the engine apart to change the passenger side spark plugs. I have a 2010 JK Rubi and a 2016 JKU 75th anniversary edition.
was this the stage 2 kit ?
Pounds Boost?
3.6 or 3.8 in the video?
2008 jku's use the 3.8L.
+Drew McCarthy which is the one on the video.
That has to be the 3.8 in the video, the only reason I say is that the 3.6 penastar has over 280hp from factory. The jeep in this video has just over 270hp after the turbo kit.that is sad considering the price for the kit, not to include the labor of install.
@@jeremymiller7993 thats 270 on the wheel for this one
The 3.6 is around 220whp
@@jeremymiller7993Dyno measures HP to wheels which is much less than stated HP by manufacturer, which is “output” or “motor” HP, not HP to wheels, which is usually ~30% lower than output. 3.8 is stated at 200HP (output), and as this showed, pre boost, actually ~140HP to wheels. Post boost 270HP to wheels would probably be equivalent to 340-350 stated output HP, which is very respectable. Not sure what 42RLE is rated for max for torque, but I know the NAG1 (2012 and newer JKs) can handle 400 for torque but I would put heavy duty parts, if available, and a trans cooler in it anyway, or at least a sensor to monitor, like in the NAG1, where can see the actual trans temp, If I were to boost.
Wranglers aren’t meant to go fast there meant to go any anywhere
That's slow as Shat!
AXO335 its a jeep not a corvette
Prodigy has videos of their jeep outrunning mustangs, corvettes, and challengers.
It’s on jelly suspension, weighs upwards of 2 tons, high center of gravity, bad tires for racing, and a slow transmission. I think a 15 is pretty good for that car
Drag racing Jeep? Sad af
The 3.8 is such garbage. Folks if youre getting a JK, get a 12+ please!
3.8 is a much more reliable engine than the 3.6 power means nothing when its in the shop all the time !
Yeah bc the 3.6 doesn't blow head gaskets religiously...
To everyone dissing this comment, the last 20 years of 3.8 use has gotten it to ceramic timing chains with less power and bad gas milage. im thankful for my 3.6.
You might want to go watch Prodigy videos of their turbo JK going 12.6 at 107 mph in the quarter.
I have over 100,000 miles on my 3.8 rubicon. No problems.
The annoying background music👎
