      "Oh you're looking for attention"
No, he's sharing part of his life where he went through hell for terrible pay where he could've died. But YOU'RE actively looking to be an A-hole to people who either volunteered or got drafted to go through hell so that YOU don't have to.
You can be ungrateful, but there's ZERO reason to actively be a douchbag.

Note: Historically, there are many volunteers in every war but in the U.S. we had a draft (2 years mandatory service until the end of the Vietnam conflict). Those males, 18 & over are still required to register. Many other countries still require mandatory service. Thanks for the post...viva Sabaton!

The Bus with Hammersmith on it is a reference to "No sleep till Hammersmith".
The Motörhead flag is self explanatory.
    Phli and Mikkey are too.
The four engined Bomber at the end is a Motörhead and Sabaton reference. Motörhead had the light rigging on stage in the shape of a four engined Bomber.

Most of Sabaton's video was filmed at the Black country living museum near Dudley in the Black country, if you ever visit the UK it's a good place to visit.

Curiously enough, one of my great-grandfathers faught for the Prussians in WW1 and one from the other side of the family, fought for the French...
I personally never had the honour to meet either. I suffer from PTSD from my time serving as a military emt, providing medical emergency services to the civilian population (mostly search&rescue and highway patrol), I can't even imagine what they went through. Smells and sounds still trigger me and what I went through was nothing compared to what they went through. They were made of better stuff than I am. :)
They both unfortunately died relatively soon after coming home, at the end of the war, from their injuries affecting them both physically and mentally (one walked almost 1500km home with a bullet in his tight and the other had severe lung damage due to gas).

Motorhead was much more than just 'Ace of spades'... and 'Overkill'... Lemmy (R.I.P.) wrote '1916' in 1991 (which was also the album title) about World War I... he wrote quite a few remarkable Motorhead songs, like 'March or die'... 'Love me forever'... 'Orgasmatron'.
Sabaton covering '1916' was fitting, and included former Motorhead members Phillip Campbell (guitar) and Mikkey Dee (drums) as a tribute (Original drums were by the late Philthy Taylor) 🤘🤘🔥🔥

Yeah, you could check Motörhead's 1916, but it's pretty much the same, the only difference is that it's no guitars in Motörhead's original song and it's Lemmy's vocals. 1916 song was the first Motörhead's ballad, they have more and they're awesome, you could try Dead And Gone or One More F*cking Time. Please react to some of those Motörhead's songs or any others - there's really NO ONE youtubers that checked other songs of this band exept Ace Of Spades, you can be first. )

Basically 6 miles is roughly equal to 9.656 kilometres which means more than a whole generation of people were killed for covering less than 10 kilometres of land gained and this song really drives home just how severe the situation was in 1916 where over a million people were killed just to gain roughly 9.656 kilometres of ground it’s hard to imagine how much pain that would be to know that we were basically sending young kids to their deaths because of this war that was started by the Germans not only once but twice as they tried it again in 1939 when Adolf Hitler took over as the fuhrer or to put it another way the government leader in Germany and then decided to invade Poland which was the reason for World War Two beginning following which he tried to take Paris in France and then planned to take over the United Kingdom using air superiority but his plan failed as the United Kingdom successfully stopped him from gaining air superiority over our island country and eventually after the Japanese attacked the American naval fleet in the attack on pearl harbour then the American government joined the United Kingdom and France etc as a part of the allied forces after which their combined forces pushed back the German defences at the D-Day landings on the French beaches while under heavy German machine gun and artillery fire from things such as German mortars but eventually succeeded in breaking through the barbed wire defences and cleared out the German trenches and bunkers at the beaches before they pushed inland and eventually made their way to the German capital of Berlin and forced the Germans to surrender thus ending the war but one of the most important things that I believe this song is trying to point out is that we shouldn’t wish to be in a war but that we should still be willingly prepared for the possibility of having to face the chances of being in a war at all times as a precautionary measure by having troops in active duty service who are always readily prepared and waiting for the order to mobilise to be given at any time if necessary but preferably I would like to hope that they would not have to be given the orders to deploy for a battlefield as they are only at most a 50% chance of being able to return home alive after a deployment order is given and that 50% odds of getting home alive safely is if they are lucky as if they are not lucky then the odds of getting back home alive could be as low as 3% if that even at times while they are deployed

As a soldier, I react strongly to this music video knowing what other military personnel have gone through.
Of course war is horrible and people feel sorry for those who have been in war. What these people don't understand is that many of us who are soldiers in different countries, do it to defend our country and our countrymen.
I live in Sweden and should there be a war, it is me and many of us who go out to defend our country and our compatriots, when Sweden joins NATO and another country is drawn into war, it is my task to go and help them.
I have chosen to be a soldier to protect other people who cannot defend themselves.
