The pineapple juice will add a tropical, fruity twist, which could complement the spicy jerk seasoning nicely. It’s the combination of seasonings and spices used to create the rub used on the Jamaican jerk meats. It can be in the form of a dry or wet rub. It’s pretty spicy and adds that “island-y” flavor to the meats. This recipe is more of a dipping sauce made up of the jerk seasoning and a few other seasoning and condiments. Hope this helps. the babymomo Authentic can only be found in Jamaica. You need the pimento wood etc. Jerk is really a method of cooking. That said, lets explore some at home versions that may work for you. I’ll recommend my grilled jerk chicken up first 😁. You can also check out Morris Time cooking and Chef Ricardo Cooking. I believe both have jerk seasoning recipes as well if you need one. Once the chicken is sorted...you’re gonna need a bomb ass jerk dipping sauce *clears throat. I have one on my channel. Don’t take my word for it...check out the reviews. If you need anything else let me know. One love xx

If done on the grill - you can add the most charred piece) You can add the red stripe in addition to the smoke. The red stripe is not a direct substitution but will add a another layer of flavor.
