PATTERN
------------------
Crochet Slouchy Ribbed Beanie (Adult)
Measurements :19 inches / 49 cm (un-stretch), 23 inches / 59 cm (stretched)
9 inches / 23 cm (height)
Yarn : Medium weigh #4
Hook : 4.00mm (for brim), 5.00mm (for hat base)
Brim (4.00mm hook)
Make slip knot
Chain 9
Row 1 : 8 sc starting from 2nd chain from hook
Row 2-60 : chain 1, turn work, 8 sc. crochet all sts in back loop
If you want your beanie to be larger, crochet multiple of 5 rows. Example : 55, 60, 65, 75 rows
Single crochet both end together, 8 sc.
Hat base (5.00mm)
Round 1 : chain 1, 60 hdc, slip sts.
Round 3-12 : chain 1, turn work, 60 hdc (crochet all sts in back loop), slip sts
Round 13 : chain 1, turn work, * 3 hdc, 1 hdc decrease *, repeat * to * 12x or until end of the round (48 sts). Crochet all sts in back loop
Round 14 : chain 1, turn work, * 1 hdc decrease, 2 hdc *, repeat * to * 12x or until end of the round (36 sts). Crochet all sts in back loop
Round 15 : chain 1, turn work, * 1 hdc, 1 hdc decrease *, repeat * to * 12x or until end of the round (26 sts). Crochet all sts in back loop
Chain 1 and cut yarn, leave the tail slightly long.
Use tail to close the top.
