I've always been interested in Caverna. When I read about the expansion, I was curious. I'm thinking of culling some of my games I don't play often and trade for it. Love worker placement games and this looks interesting. Though compared to Agricola, (Which I haven't played) Seems like the same tiles are laid out. While Agricola has tons of cards to work with for more interesting re-playability. Sounds like the expansion steers you towards a different style yet looks like it's not on rails though.

Yeah the expansion makes Caverna great in terms of replayability, I never really liked having all the stuff out there at the start, makes it more of a chess game than a fun tactical adaption to how the game changes, so for me Agricola beaten Caverna until now, the assymetrical races in Forgotten Folk is so amazing, love it!

I'm mortified to admit I don't own / nor have played Caverna. I have the little two-player version, but that's the only one I own. It does look good, but I just have too many games I guess.

Just watched your new boardgame room video..nd yeah..wow you do have a lot of games!! (I try to stay around 100, so sell off and giveaway as I go) Caverna is awsome, the cave vs cave is ok as well but now with this expansion Caverna took a real step up for me :D
