Some other youtubers try to upload 1000 calorie workouts with complicated exercises that only an incredibly fit athlete could accomplish. It feels great to be able to physically do every workout because not everyone is fit with 6 packs and fitnessblender keeps that in mind..thanks guys!!

I know this is an old video and idk how many people are still doing it but I always wonder how many calories people actually burn with these so I thought I'd share my stats after trying it for the first time! Age: 18 Height: 5'2 Weight: somewhere in between 110 and 115 (everything after this is based on my apple watch, who knows how accurate that is) Active calories: 570 Total calories: 667 Heart rate: 81-181, average 148 So, if your stats are like mine, I wouldn't expect to burn 1000 calories. Don't let that stop you from doing the video though; I thought it was a pretty good workout! I kind of got my hopes up because of the calorie range they used in the video (I'd be interested to know what they based that off of), but I think for my body type it just takes longer or more intense exercise to get up to 1000.
I did it!!!!!! Awesome sauce!! It totally kicked my butt and I had to do a slight modification here and there but I kept it moving from beginning to end!!!
That's why there is a range in the calorie burn estimation on the video & on our website. Some people will burn under 1000 calories and some people will burn over 1000 calories.
I DID IT!!! I almost gave up when I saw round 2 of abs. I gave myself a tiny break and said screw it, let's do it. I managed to get through the whole thing with one or two pauses. I've been doing the shorter HIIT Fitness Blender workouts most weekday mornings and I'm addicted. I need to kick it up a notch, so decided I'd try this, and see if I can make this a Saturday morning workout. This is INTENSE. Fitness junkies - you will LOVE this. It gets everything - your HIIT, full-body toning/weight training, core, warmup and cooldown. This is a perfect full body program for mid-level to advanced folks who can't get to the gym or who are traveling. You will need some hand weights or kettlebells. This is also a good program for advanced folks who already have a program and just need something to blast them for an hour and a half. If you weight train, this won't replace that routine - it's pretty fast and light - but it's a solid toning program none the less. Good job, guys.
I am 170 cm, and I started working out with your videos from 20/07/2015. At that point my weight was 75 kg. I am aiming for 60 kg first (like I was before pregnancy) I am working out 6 times a week, and now my weight is 68,5 kg, and I have lost like 9 cm in the waist! I am sooo happy! Thank you guys for the amazing project. I have never felt so toned and secure, now working out is not a torture for me, because I see results on the scale and measuring tape!

+Alara Ay (wildgirlalara) I do 3 times per week 1000 calories workouts of FB following with 30 min of yoga, because I feel like the stretch exercises in the end of 1000 cal videos are not enough for me. Also i do 45 - 60 min HIIT and tabata workouts of FB + 45 min Vinyasa yoga other 3 times peer week. So - generally I work out 6 days a week. I eat clean food about 4 times a day (raw vegetables, good quality meat, fish and seafood. It is a classic healthy eating system. And I drink about 2 L of pure water every day. No junk food at all, no fried food (just steamed, baked in the oven or grilled with little quantity of olive oil). The trick is in being persistent I think. And to make it a lifestyle ))
+Alara Ay (wildgirlalara) well, I suppose that everything depends on a person, you should see what will work for you. I was always having an active way of life, and I was always involved into sports (yoga, jogging, tennis, hourseriding). So the way of training I mentioned is suitable for me, and I don't feel exhausted or tired and i feel like i challange myself at the same time. You should see what will work for you personally.

This is only my third fitness blender workout and I completed it even though I'm overweight! I nearly gave up after 20 minutes but I decided to carry on then ended up going the whole way through! I’ve been doing fitness blender’s workouts for a while but have never done one longer than 45 minutes. I’m very proud I didn’t give up during the second hit part when my heart rate went a bit higher than it should have been and neither during the last round of ab exercises when I thought, “JfC, when is it finally over?” I feel very accomplished now. 😊
did 20 min of it today but i'm gonna keep working on it. i'm proud i got this far, i though i wouldn't be able to do 5 min of it. :) hopefully this will get the shape i've dreamed of.

I love this because I'm always pushed right to my limit, then given a little tiny break, and then pushed right back to my limit again. It keeps me working hard without ever making me feel like giving up and working at a half-assed pace.
I just completed this workout, start to finish, without any extra breaks other than the ones given, and I can't believe it! I haven’t worked out in a few months because school and work got the best of me but now NO EXCUSES. Oh my gosh! I'm lying down on the ground and have no idea what to do with my life anymore. I FINISHED IT! Amazing, the time flew by so fast and it really didn't get boring. It needs some time to get into the workout but if you're once in it you can do it. After the first half of HIIT I was totally in it and it wasn't that freakin hard I expected it to be :) Thank u fitnessblender xx
This, for me, was the hardest 1000 calorie workout so far. I prefer the newer ones when we do the abs component before the strength. I just found that I couldn't keep my legs as straight as I would normally be able to and so many of the ab exercises seemed to be based on that. Still...workout complete!!!! :)
I love these videos. I started with my nephew and I have lost 60 lbs! but agree isn't for everyone! , I have tried to introduce to several family members and they couldn't do it or felt like it was to hard, but now my sister and son's gf, wrkout together now, we started off every other day, now able to wrkout daily!thank you! Wow considerable difference from doing this workout last week and this week. last week I took extra breaks, cheated sets, had bad form, and wanted to throw up the whole time, but this time I made it through with no extra breaks, decent form throughout, and I pushed myself really hard. Well i'm not really counting or checking on my weight, but i think about a few pounds in one month, if you do this workout twice a week, and other shorter workouts throughout the week, without dieting that is.
I did the other two 1000 calorie workouts and they were hard, but this was BRUTAL! It was excellent, epic and wonderful. Thanks for another great workout (I work out with your videos every day).
This is just as much mental as it is physical effort. It changes up and moves quickly. Don't get psyched out or take too long breaks. I try to do a few of these routines a month. Thanks fitness blender!!

1200 Calories is too low for when you're doing exercise this strenuous - you will definitely need to eat more than that, even if you're trying to lose weight. I have been doing fitness blender these past few days and their exercises really target the 'critical' problem areas of my body. I am losing the weight and my body is looking amazing. There is no bulky or plank look; just a sexy hour-glass shape bursting through the 'once fat' me! AWESOME!!! Thanks guys!
According to my activity tracker I only burnt 763 calories while doing this workout. Plus at the end I had to replace abs exercises with cardio ones. During this workout my heartbeat was pretty high and I was doing my best. I'm a very active person. So bear in mind that you're probably buring less then 1000 calories if you weight 65-68 kilograms. Overall it's a good workout!
I am so sore today from doing this workout on Monday!!! LOVE IT!! Definitely a total body workout, I burned 600 calories doing it at my own fitness level! Looking forward to trying more of their workouts daily!

Dean Ambrose Bruh... I did the first 10 minutes of this program last week. The next day i couldn't walk because I was so soir lol. I might just do the 30 minute workout video they have....
This is excellent !! It took me two hours to do this workout because I took longer recovery breaks. It's very challenging, don't often have 88 mins. to do this workout, but I wanted to challenge myself by seeing whether I can do it or not. It's tough, but only if you can find the time. I'm not sure when I'll be able to do this anytime soon.
I love and I hate this at the same time! :) I do the HIIT part everyday (Mo-Fr) and the strenght part every other day, and the results are massive!!! Absolutely love it.
Lately I've been struggling to find motivation to keep working out (as in starting a video but not finishing), but I actually finished this one and I found that talking to myself bootcamp style REALLY helps. So without further ado if you need some motivation, just say these things aloud to yourself: "Why can't you be more like Kelli? Smile through the pain!" "If you can still talk that means you're not pushing hard enough!" "Come on this is TOO EASY!" "Are you tired? Good! You're only gonna burn fat if you push past your limits!" "You want that [insert body part]? Then work for it!" "Oh come on, you can only do ____ [workout move, i.e. squats/pushups]?" "You can do better than that!" "You started this video, you made a commitment to yourself!" "BURN THOSE CALORIES!!" "Think about how good it's gonna feel to shower after this! But it's only gonna feel good if you work hard!" As time goes on and you become more and more desperate/delirious you'll find you'll be able to make up random stuff to keep going ;) Good luck with this workout friends!
It is soo, so easy to get discouraged, isn't it? I am in my 40's, and have been doing well. But recently i have gained 10 pounds, although I have been overeating somewhat. I am questioning whether to keep working out. It's hard to see the benefits when they aren't there.

I love this! It really makes me sweat. Please do more 1000 calorie workouts! and since I don't have dumbbells, I use shampoo and conditioner containers as weights. or laundry detergent. haha

Six years since you released this awesome workout - throwback sunday! Ah, the beauty of your workouts. You know and I know and we all know, you don't actually lose weight or change your body within one and a half hour. But I sure FEEL so much better right now!!
I just completed this for the first time it was amazing!!!! Seriously. I wore 2 lb ankle weights and used a 40 lb bar bell for weights. It really is a great workout I will be doing this once a week. And you don't even have to go to the gym perfect for snowy or rainy days!!

You are just working them out too much , Cuz im 13 and i do this every saturday and sunday , all other days i take easier workouts ;) And yeah , just take easier workouts at workdays ;D
nomusicnolife117 I know my kneecap dislocated while I was doing yoga triangle pose the morning after I did one of these 1000 calorie workouts... yeah it like pops and your knee bends sideways and I like screamed in pain... so yeah it does happen lol
I find that one really tricky after hard workouts like this one. I am always so swetty in the end that it's almost impossible to get a good grip on that leg x-D
Fareeha Syeda I've always been wondering if it ain't a simmilar effect to just hold on the shoe of the leg you want to stretch and just pull it back instead of pressing the other leg against it. I have to confess that somethimes that's exactly what I do ;-) Anyways, I completly agree about the rewarding feeling it delivers.
I put this video on my Ipad and then went to the gym to do it. Everyone was staring at me because I was exhausted. At some point some people joined me to do it with me. Fitness Blender rocks!!!
Couldn't add this in my last comment but I started using a bosu ball whenever possible in these routines since I only have 2 5lb weights. I've been doing these videos for a few years now on and off but now that I'm doing them regularly, I've found that using the bosu ball helps add a new challenge (particularly with shorter videos that feature a lot of weighted activities) and keeps things interesting. Plus my balance has never been better!
I taught it was super hard. its my firstat time but got through full video but I stopped a few timws just to catch breath thanks I live it. Makes my body feel the burn. I feel my legs changing already
No one can tell you that answer for sure. If you monitor your heart rate during those ten minutes, then plug it into a bpm calorie burn calculator, you will know roughly how many calories you burned in that ten minutes. Then, if you multiply that number by ten, you will have an estimate of how many calories you may burn altogether / if you do the first ten minutes, ten times.☺
I did this on Tuesday and by Friday my legs were screaming, haha. I'm 5'5 & 200lbs My heart rate monitor said I burned 886 calories. Pretty dang close to 1000. I just played music on my computer in the background and was fine.I love this. It is now Saturday and I am about to do it for a 2nd time. W00t!

I’ve done this one multiple times, and every time I notice that it’s a tad bit easier but still torture, but that just proves it such a good workout.

i'm so happy right now! A few weeks ago i was struggling with the 37 min cardio workout, i had attempted to do this 1000 calorie work out but always quit half away. I love this because I'm always pushed right to my limit, then given a little tiny break, and then pushed right back to my limit again. It keeps me working hard without ever making me feel like giving up and working at a half-assed pace.

Oh my gosh! I'm lying down on the ground and have no idea what to do with my life anymore. I FINISHED IT! Amazing, the time flew by so fast and it really didn't get boring. It needs some time to get into the workout but if you're once in it you can do it. After the first half of HIIT I was totally in it and it wasn't that freakin hard I expected it to be :) Thank u fitnessblender xx
This, for me, was the hardest 1000 calorie workout so far. I prefer the newer ones when we do the abs component before the strength. I just found that I couldn't keep my legs as straight as I would normally be able to and so many of the ab exercises seemed to be based on that. Still...workout complete!!!! :)
I love these videos. I started with my nephew and I have lost 60 lbs! but agree isn't for everyone! , I have tried to introduce to several family members and they couldn't do it or felt like it was to hard, but now my sister and son's gf, wrkout together now, we started off every other day, now able to wrkout daily!thank you! Wow considerable difference from doing this workout last week and this week. last week I took extra breaks, cheated sets, had bad form, and wanted to throw up the whole time, but this time I made it through with no extra breaks, decent form throughout, and I pushed myself really hard. I did the other two 1000 calorie workouts and they were hard, but this was BRUTAL! It was excellent, epic and wonderful. Thanks for another great workout (I work out with your videos every day).

This is just as much mental as it is physical effort. It changes up and moves quickly. Don't get psyched out or take too long breaks. I try to do a few of these routines a month. Thanks fitness blender!!

1200 Calories is too low for when you're doing exercise this strenuous - you will definitely need to eat more than that, even if you're trying to lose weight. I have been doing fitness blender these past few days and their exercises really target the 'critical' problem areas of my body. I am losing the weight and my body is looking amazing. There is no bulky or plank look; just a sexy hour-glass shape bursting through the 'once fat' me! AWESOME!!! Thanks guys!
According to my activity tracker I only burnt 763 calories while doing this workout. Plus at the end I had to replace abs exercises with cardio ones. During this workout my heartbeat was pretty high and I was doing my best. I'm a very active person. So bear in mind that you're probably buring less then 1000 calories if you weight 65-68 kilograms. Overall it's a good workout!
I am so sore today from doing this workout on Monday!!! LOVE IT!! Definitely a total body workout, I burned 600 calories doing it at my own fitness level! Looking forward to trying more of their workouts daily!

This is excellent !! It took me two hours to do this workout because I took longer recovery breaks. It's very challenging, don't often have 88 mins. to do this workout, but I wanted to challenge myself by seeing whether I can do it or not. It's tough, but only if you can find the time. I'm not sure when I'll be able to do this anytime soon.

Lately I've been struggling to find motivation to keep working out (as in starting a video but not finishing), but I actually finished this one and I found that talking to myself bootcamp style REALLY helps. So without further ado if you need some motivation, just say these things aloud to yourself:
"Why can't you be more like Kelli? Smile through the pain!"
"If you can still talk that means you're not pushing hard enough!"
"Come on this is TOO EASY!"
"Are you tired? Good! You're only gonna burn fat if you push past your limits!"
"You want that [insert body part]? Then work for it!"
"Oh come on, you can only do ____ [workout move, i.e. squats/pushups]?"
"You can do better than that!"
"You started this video, you made a commitment to yourself!"
"BURN THOSE CALORIES!!"
"Think about how good it's gonna feel to shower after this! But it's only gonna feel good if you work hard!"
As time goes on and you become more and more desperate/delirious you'll find you'll be able to make up random stuff to keep going ;)

It is soo, so easy to get discouraged, isn't it? I am in my 40's, and have been doing well. But recently i have gained 10 pounds, although I have been overeating somewhat. I am questioning whether to keep working out. It's hard to see the benefits when they aren't there.

I love this! It really makes me sweat. Please do more 1000 calorie workouts! and since I don't have dumbbells, I use shampoo and conditioner containers as weights. or laundry detergent. haha

I've done a bunch of 5 day challenges and invested in (but haven't started yet) the Round 5 - 8 week Fat Loss Program. I have been scared of these 1000 C workouts for awhile and didn't think I could attempt or complete one. Well, I figured the day before Thanksgiving would be the perfect opportunity to challenge myself and try one. AND I DID IT!! Workout complete!!!! I just completed this for the first time it was amazing!!!! Seriously. I wore 2 lb ankle weights and used a 40 lb bar bell for weights. It really is a great workout I will be doing this once a week. And you don't even have to go to the gym perfect for snowy or rainy days!!
Hey, im only 15 and i've been doing your workouts for awhile now. The thing that sucks is my knees always feel like they're about to shatter! Idk why this is happening? And I'm still young! Help?

be careful, if you feel like your knees are week or you feel like they are out of place sometimes your kneecap can dislocate... happend to me once :(
nomusicnolife117 I know my kneecap dislocated while I was doing yoga triangle pose the morning after I did one of these 1000 calorie workouts... yeah it like pops and your knee bends sideways and I like screamed in pain... so yeah it does happen lol

I've always been wondering if it ain't a simmilar effect to just hold on the shoe of the leg you want to stretch and just pull it back instead of pressing the other leg against it. I have to confess that somethimes that's exactly what I do ;-) Anyways, I completly agree about the rewarding feeling it delivers.

Can you please make 1000 calorie cardio workouts like these with no dumbells needed?
Couldn't add this in my last comment but I started using a bosu ball whenever possible in these routines since I only have 2 5lb weights. I've been doing these videos for a few years now on and off but now that I'm doing them regularly, I've found that using the bosu ball helps add a new challenge (particularly with shorter videos that feature a lot of weighted activities) and keeps things interesting. Plus my balance has never been better!

No one can tell you that answer for sure. If you monitor your heart rate during those ten minutes, then plug it into a bpm calorie burn calculator, you will know roughly how many calories you burned in that ten minutes. Then, if you multiply that number by ten, you will have an estimate of how many calories you may burn altogether / if you do the first ten minutes, ten times.☺
And the HIIT part isn't the most important part.
I did this on Tuesday and by Friday my legs were screaming, haha. I'm 5'5 & 200lbs My heart rate monitor said I burned 886 calories. Pretty dang close to 1000. I just played music on my computer in the background and was fine.I love this. It is now Saturday and I am about to do it for a 2nd time. W00t!
