I once bought a brand new, 1979 Suzuki GS1000, it would drop into the 11's on a good day. At the time, it was the fastest thing short of a full on race car. Now a slightly modified from stock, street driven car with an automatic doing 11's. Amazing.
Love my old 2v.Arguably the best sounding V8 out there, But a s550 is a no brainer and having the ability to wind up a v8 all the way up to almost 8k is a Wonderfull thing.

Nice times and trap speed, My base non-drag mode 2018 Gen3 A10 'Yote trapped 122 with 465rwhp on corn so I'd say this one is closer to that. As far as that dyno graph, the way it peaked & flattened out at 5800 something was wrong, I've seen a broken spark plug show similar results on a dyno, Good luck and stay safe.
Yea something is definitely wrong with the tune, it should still be pulling after 5800 rpm. You can tell it’s messed up by how smooth it is before 5800 rpm and how jagged it is after. I feel bad for the owner they kinda screwed him with this tune.
The biggest issue with that dyno number is that max power was seen at 5,800. That right there should have been a dead giveaway that something is off. This isn’t a Windsor or a 2v.
@@PAFORM350 447whp is more than enough to destroy some modded coyotes! I still love my 96 cobra and 03 Mach 1 even tho they’re a bit slower than the coyotes! I know if I was fbo, cammed, and e85 tuned on either of my cars I’d be leaving some of those coyotes in the dust, they already do well against coyotes as is being stock! I get off on them 1st,and 2nd by a good car and a half,and in 3rd gear they start reeling my ass in

Ya'all dont understand, aftermarket CAI isnt going to add much power. Infact in testing the Steeda unit "SUPPOSEDLY" made 40 hp. NOT. That same car stock was only, drum roll, only .02 quicker, basically from 12.36 down to 12.34 sec. And the 1/4 speed went from 114.18 mph to 114.62 mph. Now if that time dropped from 12.36 to 12.20 or 12.1's and trap speed went up tp 116 mph, thats worth it. Fyi: 30-40hp will add 3-4 mph to trap speeds and should drop times .3-.4 tenths.
I see so many guys mentioning 93. Where is this coming from? Last 30 gas stations I've seen have 87 89 91 and *might* have diesel or e85. Please explain.
One that crappy closed airbox is exactly the same as stock two the radials messed the number up and 3 Lund is a conservative tune any other tuner would have been better

@@breeshhh anything past 500 on GTI/R platform is risky. My GTI was at 495WHP, but I’ve seen them blow around that area if not built. But yeah XL is fine
What's up with e85? Does running e85 require a tune first on 2018+ GT 5.0?? Can you mix with 91 Octane? Or does the tank absolutely have to be emptied out?
The only suspension modifications to the car whenever Hunter ran the 11.46 was a set of SVE lowering springs. You could also consider BMR drag springs. They have a specific (linear) spring rate instead of progressive. Ok so I took my 2015 5.0 A6 to the strip with just a BAMA tune (I know) and ran a 12.4 at 113. Now I’m almost fbo with PDB e85 tune and made 423whp on the dyno. I haven’t been able to go to the strip since I modded the car so do y’all have any estimates on what I should run?
That was also my best for my 2015 with Bama tune(I know) 12.4 on continental extreme contact Street tires. Not bad. I need boost. Vortech, pro, or Whipple?
@@dancoover5368 depends on your goals. wipple will have more torque for the daily drive around town and arguably be more fun there. I feel they also handle the heat better than any other supercharger. Procharger etc will work with the way these engines like to do things with making power as they rev. Pair a centrifugal with a GT350 intake and you'll make big power up through 8,000rpm. Personally I'd go turbo and never look back. Much more adjustable, can control the level of boost. Keep it low for the street, open it up at the drag strip.
Can anyone help me So the check engine light went on on my 2018 mustang gt did the flex tune on E85 by lundtune and it has this code pO171/p0174 before it was on the 93 tune empty the thank close to 0 miles fill up ran it for 30 then drove and this happen if anyone has some info thanks
Manual would of made some good power. Manual or nothing. To me just more fun to drive over an auto. My stock 18 gt 6spd car made 419whp 404tq. So with some mods it would put down some good numbers.
Beautiful car but wondering why the dyno # is so low. I've seen multiple stock videos where they throw up 420-430 whp and on e85 they run 460-470 whp add catless headers and I've seen alot hit almost 500 whp
@@alanb6196 Yeah that should be an indication that something wasn't right on the dyno - Gen3 Coyotes don't peak that low in the rpm range. Trap speed says its making a lot more power in the real world.
Drag radials on a dyno rob a lot of power. And on na/bolt cars it's going to look that more apparent in their numbers. If he put on a street tire and went back on that dyno I'd be he makes 460 or so

Judging by the trap speed of 122 mph, it's making more then 417 wheel assuming the car is full weight. That sounds more like 460 wheel to me.
About 450-460 is what I've seen on a street tire with these kind of mods on a dyno. More for manual cars. maybe add a few with headers.

Sorry but your results aren’t accurate when the hood is open while testing. Try again with hood closed and fans.
It is ideal for ventilation and cooling when testing for power. The results are accurate compared to when Hunter took his car to the track.

The rpm is clearly listed on the dyno sheet at 02:41. Regardless of the results, the car ran 11.46 and I explain that in the video. -Landan
