Just a quick one to say thank you! You've helped me out a lot! Also, don't know if you've figured it out yet but you can sell production buildings by selecting them in construction mode, an option then appears to sell :)
I was looking for the video you made about auto selling production. I think it is a might be a misconception that it sells at the highest price and then charges you 40%. I think what it’s doing is it’s selling for the average price on the map. That would explain some of the different numbers people are getting.
There is an advantage to buying the existing mill, when you do contracts that have it as a drop off point that grain is added to the building and can be used for production, I about shit myself when I saw this and it may get patched but as of right now it's a pretty nice bonus to get paid for the contract and add 10k to your grain mill.
I had a game where there was a contract for canola on two of the biggest fields on Elm Creek right from the get go. Bought the oil mill immediately and ended up with over 150k canola from the contracts and like 35-40k cash from the contracts themselves.
man your doing a amazing jobb i normaly watch other youtubers but your doing it so mutch beter and im a big fan keep it upp can you do guide where to place your animal pens and chain buldings i know i need to waste one of my fields but can you do guide to wheres the best place on elmkrek and other maps
great guide! but i was hoping u would tell us if there was a difference in upkeep and cycles per hour between the factorys u place on your land, vs the ones u buy in town.
hmm, now to see what the time to recover the purchase cost of the factory or factories (when chaining them) actually is. IOW how much time passes before you've earned more from e.g. selling canola oil as compared to canola seeds, taking into account the cost of running and buying the factory and all the equipment to move the pallets. Which at the lowest price (factory plus the smallest pallet trailer plus a frontloader attachment and pallet fork for your tractor) would run to about 110.000 Euro/dollar), so you'd need to make 110.000 more than the selling price of canola seed, which sells for roughly that much per 50.000 liters in an easy economy. In that same economy, canola oil peaks at about 4000 per 1000 liters, so to make 110.000 Euro you're going to need (at a 2-1 ratio of canola seed to oil) about 50.000 liters of canola seeds even without taking the running cost of the factory into account or the time needed to load the pallets. Which means you're not even going to break even it seems, unless my math is way off, at least on Haute Beyleron on easy mode. Interesting...
On Easy economy the best price for Canola oil is 6000 not 4000 and the best for canola is 2700 so 2700x2 = 5400 which means you make 300 on every 1000l of canola or basically you're selling for 3k not 2.7k the 4000 number you took was an average sell price which for canola is 1800 not 2000
Love your vids man. But i have one issue i think with my oil factory. My harvest in elm creek was 6104L of canola. Is was 50% fertelized. When i fill the factory with canola, the storage of the factory says 150.140L. It produces the oil fast but the storage stays at 150.140L. The original amount of 6104L gets stored in my silo. When i sell the silo amount it just takes off the 6104L from the 150.140L leaving it at around 144.000L. Oil gets produced and the amount still wont go down. Hopefully you know or understand what i mean. And hopefully a answer because i love the game and this kinda ruines the realism of it. Greetings from the Netherlands 👏
Since pallet moving has become a major part of the game now, what is the best/cheapest/easiest way to transport the pallets? Is there any automated way of loading pallets? And such! Thanks I really enjoy your vid's full of great info!
Does anyone know what you can and can’t pick up without a front loader. I just can’t load pallets with the loaders it hurts my brain lol I like eggs right now because it’s easy to hand load is there anything else that can be hand loaded. I can’t get over the 40% shipping charge lol that’s wild Thanks for another great video Mr.Cop
The production buildings are shown as sell points in the price menu, can other players sell at them then? Also would the money come out of your pocket to "buy" their raw materials? As well as would the materials go into your production building to be processed or just disappear?
You have to give the other player contractor access to your farm for them to be able to deliver goods to your production facility. However, the player delivering the goods will not receive any compensation. If you want to work out a deal with the player you can manually transfer money to them but when it comes to the base game function there will be no compensation.
Am I right in thinking that if I have my oil mill set to distribute it just stores it up then when the price is high I change it to sell ? If I have it on store to begin with that I have the fuss of pallets and transport 😔 it's a shame the oil doesn't have another stage in its production ie fuel or something
Djgoham was able to sell the grain mill on elm creek by entering the construction menu where you can also sell buildings, he was able to sell it by placing the cursor over the grain pit where you input grains into the mill
So the oil mill only allows like 3 pallets outside but hold like 10k L of product once u sell the 3 pallets how do u get at the remaining product in storage
Is there a way to remove product out of the grain mill? I put way too much barley in there and would like to go sell some but I can't figure out how to pull the product out, if possible.
Oils can be delivered to your own stores restaurants and markets right? Cause you can construct them at least in the European map. So the factory is not the end of the chain.
way more complex -- wow, well i mean they had to beef up the game experience....so far whats your thoughts FS19 or FS22? I am sure there will be a pro/con video coming out much later....
Is there any way to reset the games factorys ie the bakery, dairy, spinary are no longer taking products even after months of waiting . Thanks for any help
Jan. 4, 2024 Yes, I know this comment is 2 yrs in the making but the question has arisen once again about Direct Selling from Productions. How much does the Production keep as their "cut" when you direct sell from a Production? I could have sworn I watched a video you made in the beginning of FS22 where you said it was 40% ? Has that ever changed? I was unable to locate that video as I don't remember what you titled it. Thank you sir for your time. Take care.
@@FarmerCop Thank you sir for taking the time to reply. I will forward this info to Mr. Sealyp, as he was the one asking about this in one of his Alma, MO episodes.
40% delivery fee is a rip off, you can do production chains only if you do small scale farming, imagine harvesting 200000l of canola, getting out 100000l of oil, this is 100 pallets to load and transport and 100 pallets is a lot of work, so you need to run workers all the time, because you don't have time to do field work, the game becomes pallet moving simulator. And 200k liters of grain isnt even that much. Still I guess most of the production chains do give some extra money even if you auto sell, but then again, with large scale farming, how many grain mills do you have to own to process all the grains? Sugar beet for example into sugar, a million liters of it, at this point buying the production chain buildings just gets crazy, it's not just one building at this point, it becomes a factory. I love the idea of production chains but in practice, i'll probably just start ignoring production chains at some point. Lets say you run 4 cotton harvesters, really large scale, how many production chain buildings would you have to own to process all the cotton, investing a million or even more in production chain or buying one more JD harvester or 2 more Case harvester which one is better? Often when you buy more harvesters you buy some more land as well so, there is some math to do to figure out what is better but I'd say, production chains are more money over time, but if you want to go big fast, spending money on production chains is time and money sink. I may be wrong but I have 40 cows right now, to process the milk I need one diary, if i want to expand I need one more dairy and one more place for cows, it gets really expensive really fast.
How do you make millions of euros? I just started playing, I took your advice from another video and I am running 2 big sheds for sheep and manufacturing the wool, but still I cant make the money to buy a lot of land
Be careful about the Grain Mill Plus mod version of this. It destroyed all my animal husbandry efforts. Couldn't feed cows or sheep, chickens would not reproduce. Didn't try pigs but probably the same. I wound up having to test all my mods, adding them back to the mod folder in pairs, to find the culprit and THAT was not fun. Good luck.
I want to say thank you for all the help guides. They have been a massive help answering questions that have came to mind.
Best FS videos on RUclips. Thanks for all the tutorials you made. They sure helped me a lot.
Watching this before buying a grain mill. Very educational!
I wish the oil mill would output to tank trailers.
I doubt a supermarket would buy canola oil in bulk =D
Feed mills and cereal company could.
@@therookie710They move it by rail as well. You should be able to take from the mill to the train silo in bulk and fill a tanker.
Wow I didn't know there was such a steep delivery fee for selling directly from the mill. Thanks for that info.
I have heard it changes the fee depending on ecknomy mode but have not tested it
1:20 🤣 "...I'm not going to, 'cause I don't like to..." Oh this made me laugh!
Get in...get the information....get out and make shit happen! Love this channel.
great info, downloading and droping your own mills gives you a chance to sell/dump it

I don't remember who I saw do it but you can sell factories. Sell it from the sell point where you would unload.

I have tested it (not a ton) but at least 6 times and every time i do the math it comes out as taking 40% off the highest price on normal economy
sold 1 palet of flour for 1420. auto sell on mill only gave me 718.
avg price to sell to the 2 bakerys is 1408.5.
Thanks for your tutorial really appreciated

Would also like to know the answer to this
Nothing yet bet soon enough there will be mods with the auto loading function!
I have been using my pickup with the tilt bed trailer until I get a tractor trailer
Get the super strength mod and just move them by hand
I use the big hay bale trailer and a front loader tractor which works very well since the trailer can strap down the pallets and is relatively cheap
Thanks bro
im playing multiplayer with 2 different farms, can we use each others production points or does one of the farms have to buy their own?
Your just lucky your multiplayer is working I’ve had a dedicated server since long and still can’t get onto it
You can grant contractor acsess then transfer money between farms 👍

Great video, hey how can I transport my oil from my factory to a selling point, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong!
Use pallet forks to load the pallets onto a trailer to take them to sell
Djgoham was able to sell the grain mill on elm creek by entering the construction menu where you can also sell buildings, he was able to sell it by placing the cursor over the grain pit where you input grains into the mill
Thats what i tried to do but i didnt test every production plant, definitely could be operator error on my end
Wish multiplayer was working so I could actually play the game
I should buy a bakery and complete my chain xD
So the oil mill only allows like 3 pallets outside but hold like 10k L of product once u sell the 3 pallets how do u get at the remaining product in storage
They will spawn when you move the pallets outside
Is there a way to remove product out of the grain mill? I put way too much barley in there and would like to go sell some but I can't figure out how to pull the product out, if possible.
Sadly there is not a way to take product out
Oils can be delivered to your own stores restaurants and markets right? Cause you can construct them at least in the European map. So the factory is not the end of the chain.
Do I have to buy a pallet for my oil factory,or does it produce pallets automatically?
It produces them automatically
Can you deliver the different oils to the different selling points yourself and how?
Yes you can, just need pallet forks and a trailer to load them on
How about transporting the products? Is there a way to transport in bulk vs. Pallets?
Only way to sell them is to go intp the files and change the ownership back to the savegame.
With game updates you can now sell them back

Ive come to the conclusion that the bakery is useless. Just leave it as flour and sell the pallets that way.
Bread sells for 3x the amount of flour and only takes 2x flour to make it so 200 worth of flour is worth 300 in bread, how is that not worth it??
