For what it's worth, I subscribed because Farmer Cop's tutorials are fast-paced and get straight to the point -- I don't have the patience to sit through a lot of fluff and/or dull humor on other FS channels.
@@ceterisparibus51yea same and some of the other channels drag the tutorials out on purpose it seems like and that just makes me want to go watch a different tutorial farmer cop has the best tutorials
I think Giants should have some type of restaurant or pizza delivery as a production chain. It would utilize oil, flour, produce, cheese etc and could be used as a transport mission as well. The farm to table concept Just my thoughts 🚜
How do people find time to start using these production chains? If you want to run a bakery you first need to own a mill for flour. A dairy for butter, which means you also need cows first (and their pretty intense care for keeping and feeding them). A sugar plant for sugar which needs special equipment for planting and harvesting sugarcane. Im almost 200 hours and am still just growing regular crops, still hadn’t had time or money to make the next step.
So I just bought the grain mill and bakery. I want to produce bread. I have all my wheat in the grain mill, then I set it to distribution? And it sends all my flour to the bakery?
It seems production rates are wrong or i miss something? if every hour consume 180 l of flour it should be 4300l of flour a day (in game), so far I used like 7k flour in 4 months or 4 day. Some ideas?
Only if it’s buildings that are also available in the store. The generic “filler-buildings” are not sellable. You can always check it by just opening the building mode in the shop and trying if you can click on the intended building to select it for selling. Hope this helps!
I have done some play with production and setting up supply to feed the bakery. Flour, sugar, strawberries, milk, butter and eggs produce cakes, but I have found out that the bakery only needs 384 of each item every 24 hrs to make 960 cakes, that is the bottle neck in making good profit with a supply chain. The bakery output needs to be improved or we need about 15 bakeries to use the production generated from the supply chain. Any thoughts on this, please. Cheers
I just went to the bakery on Elm creek where i have 500litres of bread but it wont spawn so i can sell it manually. Idk wot is going on. Any suggestions appreciated👍
well there are some production very lucrative others not so much, i'm also on normal mod without mod or cheats and the price of flour and bread doesn't seems even worth doing , i might leave those for last, sugar and tailor seems more likely.
Maybe we need more freedom / adjustment on selling, distribution, storage, like setting a percentage for each, IE: 10% distribution, 20% storage, 70% selling. We have the choice to set those percentages. Cheers
just bought the bakery and the mill on medium and came to the conclusion thats its terrible. i get 88k profit from it and it produces extra wqork. if i feed the same grain to chickens i make 225k. utterly terrible and thats with selling the bread at peak times. sadly you cant go back as selling it will screw it all up.
IMHO, Giants should've have named "Cake" something more generic like "Pastries" (which would include cake). Also, if they are striving for realism, both cake and bread should have a fairly short shelf life before they "wither" (go stale). Likewise for eggs and certain dairy products (e.g., milk) -- forces the farmer to give these items priority.
Bread is horrible !!! I just made ingame test with three 52 m3 trailers filled with wheat. I sold 3 products for best year price ( wheat, flour, bread ). Test was made on hardest difficulty. So first trailer I sold in dec for best year price 409/m3 and i got 21 270 money Second trailer was used to make flour and i sold flour in dec for best price 2413. Mill made around 66 palets of flour - which was 100 659 in money Last trailer was used to make flour and all this flour was sent to bakery to make bread. Recipe ratio is 2 flour -> 1 bread and yet bread is even cheaper than flour. From all flour palets i made 10 palets of bread only! (almost 11 but I could not sold last one becouse it wasnt finished) Best year bread price was 1804 only and it made 36 093 money only. Even if we add those 866l of bread that last in bakery, we would got around 39 200 money. Which is horrible. When I learn this it totaly killed game for me and not just this. There is a way more problem in game economics!!! It just doesnt make sence So hard difficulty 52 m3 wheat wheat -> 21 270 money flour -> 100 659 money bread -> 39 200 money
One thing to make note of is the cycle time on bread......it only makes 2 pallets a month and the best time to sell is December.
It was tested for selling in all economies. It charges 35.23% for each economy. It doesn't change.
These guides are boosting your subscribers pretty well!! 55k has come and gone in no time, I swear I saw 53k yesterday? 😮 keep it up! 👌
Yes very helpful for a beginner like me

I like the idea :)

Good news, after 350 hours on my savegame, I managed to bake my first cake!!
I couldn’t agree more it’s very daunting to have to buy all these productions
searched on your channel for this video this morning.. Glad I subscribed!
Appreciate your videos, just started playing FS22.
You’re the greatest, I bough the bakery, but didn’t know what to do
you can't lift 6 damn cakes!
is the recipe using concrete instead?
This was super helpful , I’ve been trying to get this to work for so long
Love your channel, FS 22 is my favorite game.
If u put eggs in it can u get them back out to sell or canbu sell them from in it
The eggs are stuck inside unless used to make something
Hi Farmer. Thanks for this vid. What else can I use bread for, for production purposes?
Bread is just for selling :)
So I just bought the grain mill and bakery. I want to produce bread. I have all my wheat in the grain mill, then I set it to distribution? And it sends all my flour to the bakery?
Correct :)
Thanks alot, really helped with the explanation of bakery things. Am now a self made millionaire because of this method

I was experiencing the same thing. Seemed like a nice bug in the system 🐛
cycle per hour 2 it's gonna consume 2 x that recipe right ? so 16 L flour... not 8
Gday mate, Im on ps4, how did u get Super strenth?
There is no super strength for consoles sadly
Is there a way to sell buildings in land you buy not the start farm?

It sounds like they probably need to adjust some things, hopefully they will in updates to come
I'm running mill and bread combo 2 pallets a day of bread worth the money
My bakery can’t keep up with the flour mill, how many bakeries can one mill supply ?
I just went to the bakery on Elm creek where i have 500litres of bread but it wont spawn so i can sell it manually. Idk wot is going on. Any suggestions appreciated👍
It wont spawn until its a full pallet, for bread I believe that is 1000 Liters
@@FarmerCop yeah, figured that after i posted my comment

Is the "distribution" free? Does it move your items/goods to the next part of the process for a fee or no?
no fee
You sound eerily similar to Jeff Daniels

That would be great if they added that feature in
Can I take out milk I accidentally stored there
Sadly no, once inside the product is stuck there

There was me thinking you had to load the product on a trailer and sell it yourself 🤦

It would be cool to see if making cake from bought ingredients is profitable
I have a video on most profitable production chains which breaks that down :)
Can we have the cake please?
Hahaha yes
@@FarmerCop thanks
