I heard the audible voice of God yesterday. I listened to my audio Bible!

If you look at the credits on your audio bible, it will tell you the name of the person who went into the studio and did the audio recording. If you think that person is God, you and I have different religions.

It was so good to go over this podcast again. I must have been doing something the first time I heard it. I believed that God had spoken to me directly and briefly a few times in my life. Now, I believe it was discernment. Maybe that’s why other people think God is talking directly to them. They are either strong convicted of something they are doing or not doing and/or they know the wisdom they’ve learned in the Bible is not being applied and they need to walk away from a situation.

God speaks to us through His word, the Bible & the Holy Spirit reminds us to read the word thereby teaching us all things.

This is great Biblical information! Been in a ladies Bible study and they all believe the Holy Spirit speaks directly to Christians today. I pointed them to Heb 1:1-2 and how we hear God through scripture alone. They refer to many of the same verses you point out and misuse them through ignorance.

@Angie-lw8vi Heb 1:1-2 doesn't mention the bible, or scripture, or anything written. Heb 1:1-2 is proof that God speaks directly to us today.

Before I watch this , my answer to this question is “no” . I also don’t believe God knows what we’re going to say or do before we say or do it. If He did, how could that be freewill? This would be a good discussion to have on one of your podcasts. “ Dose God really know in advance what we’re going to say or do?” ❤️✝️❤️

I'm fascinated by people who claim they want to spend eternity with God, but have no interest in listening to God directly on Earth. They think you have a mental illness if you believe God speaks to you directly, but they want to pretend they care about God in eternity.
You can't have it both ways.

    1 Jn 2:25-28
25 And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.
26 These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you.
27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

interesting that in the beginning God originally spoke to man directly but then sin came and “separated” man from God. Then Jesus came reconciling the world back to God. Men then preached the gospel of reconciliation. Some men have believed and been reconciled, even having the true Spirit of God living IN them. But God still doesn’t speak directly to them. 🤔🤨

the answer is no. if you hear an audible voice in your head you need to seek out a medical professional. if you desire to hear from God, open up his book and read.

      @theHoff1974 Great atheist argument.

@@HeLivesForever25 there are no atheists. all people worship something or someone...usually themselves. its whatever you spend most of your time and energy on, that is your god.

So Adam, Abraham, Noah, Moses and Jesus needed to seek out a medical professional? They all heard God speak audibly.

I understand your point, but there are plenty of people who think others are mentally ill if they believe God talks to them. Some of those condescending people are Christians, or as I prefer to call them, atheists in sheeps clothing.
If a person doesn't believe in a supernatural deity, they are an atheist. Theist, in the Greek language, refers to someone who believes in a supernatural supreme being, not just someone who spends all of their time on something. I do hear what you're saying, but in this context, your argument doesn't work.@@theHoff1974

You do err from the truth. How can all powerful God the Father not talk to his creation. The Holy Ghost teaches me and shows me things all the time. Yes He is speaking to me and others. You put God in a box(Bible) and say that's all of God that's just a fraction of God. You deny the true word which is Jesus the Christ. Read it in John chapter 1. May God grant you repentance so you can be filled with His Spirit and be led by it so you can know truth and be set free.

Did you listen to this video and study the passages they mention? The Holy Spirit now speaks to us through the word alone (Heb 1:1-2). John ch 1 actually helps build on to this point, that everything we are given in the word is from Jesus, but you can't stop there. Keep studying, please! And how can your viewpoint reconcile all the other scriptures mentioned in this video? It cannot... which way is the truth? the viewpoint that is in harmony with the Bible. or the one that is in harmony with what you or others say? Please, keep studying these things.
